Good and clean rooms. Housekeeping staff is good. Great event room was there for my cousins wedding. Only two things that i have negative. I had to ask for wash cloths and no cook to make my son a omelet. They also could have more dinner rolls for the dinner at the wedding.

I have been calling this local number for 3 days, to make a simple reservation so that my family and I might stay here for a wedding we are attending in a month. Someone answers the phone, places me on hold and then I get a message saying there is no one available and the line disconnects. Tonight, finally I got through, finally, and started to make my reservation. I was quickly told I needed to be placed on a quick hold..I hung up after being on hold 10 minutes. Bad experience, most certainly.

Saturday night. I need a hotel for a couple days. Nobody answers the phone in 4 attempts yet the message says we appreciate your business. I am trying to give you my hard earned money but you cant answer the phone?????

Marriott is usually my preferred choice. Stayed here multiple times while in town for work. Great location. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Bistro was fully opened, try the black cherry old fashioned. DirecTV in room, but could use an update as theyre some of the first 32 HDTVs.

Disgusting stains on the carpet and massive stains on the couch (cum stains as absolutely disgusting as it sounds). We were upgraded by the desk person. But we had to go by house shoes (Crocs) to walk around for the weekend.

However, I have to say, this is a beautiful hotel. It was understaffed. But, Antonia, ( I believe). Was working 100% alone as we arrived. Checking in guests, bartending, filling room requests, pool towel requests, supplying bedding, pillows etc, For guests, above and beyond what one employee should manage. She never once, seemed frustrated, overwhelmed, or anything! I Have worked in the service industry for over 10 years. This lady is a ROCK STAR!! 100% customer service. 0.05% cooperate preparedness on a Saturday night. If it were not for her this place would have went down tonight FAST!

By far not the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, but definitely not even remotely close to what we are used to. We decided to stay at this hotel as my husband is attending the national umpire school here so we thought for ease I would hang out with the kiddo and do crafts or things to keep us entertained while he is attending it. When we first arrived and grabbed our key cards after checking in, we went directly to our room to see that it was the only room in the hotel that did not have a view. We were looking out directly at the cement entrance and in our neighbors window. We went back down to the front desk and asked for a room that was not with an obstructed view and the front desk gal was wonderful enough to switch us. Going to the second room however it was absolutely filthy and there was a sign on the thermostat that stated it did not work and that you would have to use the controls on the unit itself. The fridge had pop or some kind of dark liquid all over so my husband asked to switch again. We are now in our third room and lets just say you have to be quick when using the bathroom sink or it will fill up because it is not draining. The front desk person offered us some breakfast vouchers which was nice given the inconvenience however it clearly states no substitutions and one of the main meals is eggs which my husband is allergic to. Nice gesture but definitely not something we could utilize. Very disappointed and will not be staying again.

It was a good hotel except of being close to the highway and we got a room with a jacuzzi. It didn’t work at first but they fixed it for us. Thank you!

Check-in was a breeze and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Everything was clean. They had a nice Courtyard with a gas fire pit and plenty of seating. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Would recommend and come back again to stay.

Construction issues, visable due to poor finish work.

Arrived at the hotel after 6 hours of vehicle travel. The room was scheduled two days prior. Went into the room and it was trashed from the previous tenants. It also smelled horribly. Went downstairs to report the issue. Apparently they had no other rooms available and had to clean a room. Poor management and poor communication for a hotel.

Will not return due to poor compliance with COVID19 restrictions. There were least 10 unmasked guests, sitting shoulder to shoulder, talking and laughing over drinks in the lobby when I entered. Management allows housekeeping staff to clean rooms unmasked. So disappointing. I expected more from a Marriott.

Very hard beds. If you like sleeping on an extra firm mattress, this is the hotel for you. I normally sleep on a soft memory foam mattress, so after a difficult and uncomfortable night, my back hurts horribly. Hotel is nice, new, and clean. Staff is friendly. Event facilities are fantastic. But, I’m going to need a chiropractor visit after my stay. Ouch...

So grateful for an overnight of rest, rejuvenation, and relaxation with my hubby after the Christmas week as we plan our new business!!

Shady business practices. Reserve a room online and show up moments later to check in only to be told they are overbooked on that room. But we can give you a lesser roomHow about instead I dont give you my money and you dont let people reserve things that arent available.

I like this place. I had to stay here very coincidentally because of bad weather. I didnt expect so much but the staff called Gabriel, he offered great service, nice behavior so I am very appreciated about his help.I want to come here again.

When we showed up from out of state we found out the pool was closed. When we booked the rooms a few days before our stay neither the app or the website informed us of the closure.

My Army retirement ceremony was held on the 31st of January. Brooke and Nick were awesome to work with. I booked the entire event center for the evening. They had an event there that afternoon over lunch. They turned the center around in not time and were prepared to receive my party of over 250 people. The food was amazing and and heard nothing but rave reviews from my guests. The duck wantons were AMAZING!! as well as the Cor don blue balls!!! They even had my room ready well in advance which allowed me to prepare for the evening stress free.

We recently had an event here and were very impressed with the attention we received from hotel staff. Nick and his team do a wonderful job! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to hold meetings, parties or event of any size.

Great rooms here! They are clean and beautiful. The hotel is right behind the mall and right across the way from a small neighborhood lake. The location is great. There is an open bar inside the hotel and an indoor pool and jacuzzi. The beds are plush and come with lots of blankets and pillows.

Held a corporate meeting for my employer at this location. Spaces were clean, well maintained, and modern. Staff was readily available and out meeting area was very spacious. Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. Ashley was a pleasure to work with during the coordinating process.

I felt like I was at home every day when I returned to my suite. The front desk greeted me every morning as I left for my office, and every evening when I returned. The cocktails were excellent (French 77), and the staff at the restaurant and bar made some of the best cobb salads I have ever had. If and when I have to come back to Mankato, I will stay at the Courtyard again. There was nothing phony about the staff; they treated me not as a customer but as a friend or family member. The room attendants kept my room nice and clean and fluffed my pillows for me.

I recently visited this location for a business meeting. I had no idea they had conference rooms! I was honestly surprised by the nice interior. The way its organized feels very welcoming. Its also on a really good location, set right off the highway and really accessible to any part of town relatively quickly.

Our family of four was impressed. The suite was nicer than some of the posh vegas hotels weve stayed and super afforable!

Excellent group of people running this Marriott. Travis and Brittany at the front desk were excellent as was everyone else. Nice, updated and clean hotel. A big surprise of sparkling juice and chocolate covered strawberries were in our room when we arrived. I don’t know if this is a standard service for special occasions or not but it really was an outstanding amenity that we very much enjoyed. Overall great job!!! Thanks so much!

Nice hotel..

If I could give these folks 10 stars, I would. The bright inviting space is great, but it is the sincerely warm and welcoming customer service that sets it above the norm. We felt more like treasured guests than customers. The bistro supper and breakfast were excellent (great toasted cheese and tomato soup). When Laura S. at the front desk realized we were there to visit our mom in the hospital, she sent a lovely note and gift. We will be back, and we know which hotel we will be using!

My now wife and I got married here back in October and we were really impressed on just how much these guys help with the planning of the wedding. They made sure to answer all of our questions, helped with keeping things organized whether it was filling our sweet and salty bar during the social hour or keeping our decorations in storage for us a few days before the wedding. If you are looking for a great venue to have a reception or to hold your ceremony at, I highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott in Mankato!

We have stayed at the Courtyard Mankato many times over the past few years. It is hands-down the #1 option for the Mankato, MN area. Weve also utilized their reception space and catering for a family wedding and they did a spectacular job in all aspects beginning with the planning all the way through the day after the wedding. The hotel lobby and rooms are always immaculate and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Every stay has been a pleasant experience. There are also many excellent dining options within short distance. If you like shopping, its a short walk to the River Hills Mall. If youre staying in the Mankato area, this is where youll want to stay!

The Mankato location is excellent. It is by the highway and close to the mall. Although it might seem busy it is very quite and relaxing. I receiving a warm and friendly welcoming from the staff at Mankato. Being away from family is hard but the staff made my stay feel comforting.

This location always accommodates my familys needs and has superior service and cleanliness. I am a Marriott Platinum member and I travel continuously for business. This location is one of my favorite places to stay and the one I choose when we visit family in Mankato.

Great rooms was there on work trip with my fiance and we always have a great room and staff is very helpful an polite. Except they changed the beds they are firmer then before. Not a fan of it but thats just my personal. Otherwise great stay☺

I was disappointed what I got for the large price tag on a room. The room was dirty and beds was very hard and I could not sleep all night. Tv did not work and room smelled like sewer gas most of the night that I thought about just leaving in the night. The chairs had stains and bed sheets had hair all over it. This is the first time I stayed here and not planning to stay another night so I checked out and went to another hotel.

Some of the most welcoming staff Ive had in recent years. Friendly and very accommodating. Very clean rooms and common areas. Close and easy access to major highway and shopping/dining area.Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful stay we had at The Courtyard Marriot in Mankato. We were visiting the campus of Mankato State and the hotel was close enough to the campus while offering a good selection of restaurants and having the mall right across the street was an added bonus. The hotel staff was so welcoming and the hotel was clean, bright and new. We stayed in the oversized double queen room, very roomy and nice. We enjoyed drinks at the bar and the bartender was so nice. The pool and hotel tub area was nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely go back.

You know you are in for a cold experience when you go to Mankato in the winter. The promise of a warm reception, which we did get, and a warm room, which we didnt get, is all you hope for upon arrival. The presence of two coffee cups in the morning while getting ready to face the 12 degree day would have been perfect, had two cups been in the room after a night of nearly freezing to death until the heater finally brought the room up to 70 degrees at 2 am. The whisper thin bed cover and sheet were barely enough to keep us alive till that time. A trip to the lobby fixed the coffee cup issue after being directed to the Starbucks. Wouldnt it have been wonderful if the lobby staff would have said, I apologize for the missing cup, let me get one for you and then have made a note to make sure 2 cups were in the room each day? Had that been done, we wouldnt have been cupless on the last morning. The lack of an internet connection for five days was just a bit too much and despite the staffs attempt to rectify this, no resolution was found by the end of our stay. Wouldnt it have been nice had the bill been adjusted as a way of saying we are sorry we couldnt resolve your issue? Having taught customer service for ten years I am pretty familiar with ways staff can make a difference even when things go wrong that are beyond their control. The lobby staff couldnt have been more pleasant but its the details that count in the long run. No internet, no heat on arrival, no cups in the morning every day= no fun.Steven

Loved my experience there as always. The staff are great, always friendly and helpful. Whole hotel was modern and contemporary, which I always appreciate. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable as well. Food and service in The Bistro is top notch too. The Courtyard is by far the best hotel in the area, I can highly recommend it.

Blizzard left me stranded in Mankato so they took care of me with onsite food, drink and a jacuzzi room!

Not only is the hotel great, Ive stayed there two years in a row for a work event, but the staffing is AMAZING! When I stayed most recently I lost a necklace with a stone from my grandmothers engagement right and I was devastated. I called the hotel and they said they hadnt found it but that a note would be left for the manager. Stephanie contacted me and assured me the head housekeeper would search the room top to bottom. THEY FOUND IT and mailed it to me. I am so grateful to Stephanie and her entire team for getting this back to me. Highly recommend staying here for the staff, the room quality, the cleanliness, and the amenities.

The food was all delivered nicely but when it came to clearing off the tables it took them all night. Only one girl clearing off tables that we could see it might have been two. She cleared off the silver Ware first and this took a couple of hours. Then glasses. Not very well organized. They ran out of Coors Light early in the night when most of us drink this brand. No where to go after the wedding was over at 11:30. No bar area, the desk clerk kicked us out of the lobby where there is a Day time bar only. Then when we went to our room and thought this area wS reserved for wedding party only we were told we were to loud and charged a $75 fee! We ended up in the parking lot. Not a good place to have a wedding.
