Pfeffer Funeral Home handled my fathers service and cremation beautifully. Their level of professionalism and willingness to go out of the way to answer our questions truly made all the difference and eased our minds in our most stressful time. Rarely do I write negative reviews but my experience with Pfeffer Funeral Home is one that I will never forget. I had to fly back home for the unexpected passing of my father and chose Pfeffer Funeral Home to handle the cremation. Because my financial situation was not at a good place, another party recommended I ask about an indigent fund the County has for those that do not have a lot of money.When I inquired about this with Skip Pfeffer, he got upset, disregarded my question, and stated, you obviously had to pay for a ticket to fly here. I stated I received assistance with that flight ticket from a family member but funds are still tight. He proceeded to say, well, you still came here to WI and I do need to get paid somehow. I was disheartened by his desensitized behavior and after expressing my concern, I left the funeral home abruptly and had my father sent to Harrigan Funeral Home where they were extremely professional and worked with me.My dear friend also had a similar experience afterwards with Abby the assistant.
