We enlisted Charles to sell and clean out the contents of our home in Manitowoc, which my family has owned since the 50s. Per our contract, he was to clear out any unsold property. Immediately after the auction, Charlie promptly abandoned the property and left sale items, papers, boxes, etc strewn along the driveway and backyard. In addition, there were at least 16 empty beer cans in the house, and some in the garage where he conducted the auction. I asked him numerous times when he was going to clear out (our contract said by Nov. 25) and he insisted the new buyers were taking over the remaining items.However, as I mentioned, there were papers, garbage, beer cans, boxes strewn all over the house, garage and he made no attempt to remove unnecessary items or organize things in a neat and tidy way. Our family has taken great price in keeping our home clean and presentable over the years, and the mess Charlie left was not only embarrassing, but very unprofessional. I do not recommend hiring Charles Kurth for any of your estate needs.
