Don does an amazing job. We keep thinking we need to replace the carpet but then we call Don and he makes it look like new! This carpet was installed in the early 90s! Plus he is a great person to have in your home.

Dave came and cleaned my carpets. I have a dog, jack, who is just a puppy so I was in desperate need of a good scrub in my living room. Our sick dog left several poop and puke stains on our light colored carpeting. Really dark, nasty stuff. I called Holmes the next morning, and they were able to come the same day. Dave was great, carefully explaining what he would do and that given the nature of the stains, he may not be able to completely remove them. The results, however, were fantastic! Even after several days, theres no remnant of the stains coming to the surface, as Dave explained might happen. Fast and courteous service, great results.

The actual carpet cleaning went well, it was the service that was terrible!When I set up the appointment we agreed that wed meet at 10:00 on our scheduled day. At 10, wed walk through the house to point out any highly stained areas and then Id leave while he worked. As soon as he was finished, he was going to call me so that I could meet back up and handle the paperwork and billing. I confirmed this THREE TIMES on our call. Well meet at 10 and then youll call me when youre done.On our scheduled day, I left work and got to the house by 10:00, by 10:15 he still hadnt arrived so I called and left a voicemail. He called me back by about 10:30 and said, My first job is running late it will at least be another 30 minutes before I can get there. So I went back to work. By 11:30 he called me to let me know that he was at the house and ready to go, so I had to drive back to the house to meet him. Once I got there he said, I dont know what the confusion was, I was supposed to call you when I was ready to meet you. He then proceeded to laugh like I was in the wrong.Dude, you were the one in the wrong on this one. Dont promise a client something and then not even have the decency to give them a heads up when the job before theirs is running late. Also, dont ever, EVER make your client feel like an idiot just to make yourself feel better.If you use Holmes Carpet Cleaning, set your expectations low on the service and DONT EVER WAIT FOR THEM TO ARRIVE!!!! You should wait for their call and then make them hang out until you get there.I promise that I wont ever be referring business to them...its actually the exact opposite as this review probably indicates.

Holmes is doing my carpets for about the last 16 years. I have real and fake oriental rugs, one made by my grandma, carpet on the staircase, which they do too, and they also do your upholstered antique sofas. They are on time, pleasant, and do a wonderful job.
