Very professional and well ran facility. I went there for lab work, and the lady was very professional and nice. I will definitely go back to this Labcorp for all my future lab work. They got me in and out so quickly. I have deep veins which makes it very difficult for most places to draw blood from me, but the young lady hit my vein the first attempt and was painless.
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant, however my experience was quite good at LabCorp Mandeville. I arrived the 15 minutes before appointment as suggested, and was taken within 5 minutes of arrival. Jessica was very professional and efficient. Probably one of the easist draws I ever had. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Painless on all levels.
Had an appointment, checked in early via phone, received confirmation, NEVER was called in for my bloodwork. Waited an hour and 10 minutes. Saw them lock the door for lunch. Not happy. Left. Do NOT plan to ever go back.

This place is a joke. My doctor sent my labs here for more bloodwork. I made an appointment online for 7:30am because I am a manager and it is hard to take off of work. The email confirmed and told me to arrive 15 minutes early. When I arrived, the lights were off, blinds were shut and the door was locked. When I went online it says that it is closed but on the door and when booking says otherwise. When I called I went straight to voicemail. Now, with it being 7:30, still no call back nor is the door unlocked. They definitely need new management along with a new system.
Just left this office. The lady that was there was great. She was all by herself. She was still friendly. The computers were down so she took the time to look up all of my codes that were on the paper. Yesterday the girl at the other office just didn’t want to do it.
The place is nothing like the reviews. This was my second visit. I made an appointment on line and was taken as soon as I walked through the door. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They had me in and out in no time.I did ask about the negative posts and was told these happened when the lead tech was out for months following surgery. Give this place a chance.
Mr. Flowers was incredibly fast when drawing blood and one of the best lab techs I’ve ever met. The location itself is nice, and I did not have to wait long when I came without an appointment.
Jessica was both friendly and efficient. She’s new in town and will be a permanent fixture at this facility. I would actually recommend them and go back for future lab work.
Horrific. Save yourself a ton of time and drive all the way to the South Shore. There was one person working and a steady flow of traffic. If you do go just plan to be there all day. They also request your credit card information even if your insurance covers these procedures. They claim to not know what insurance will cover what which is how they justify taking your credit card information and putting it on file.
One poor lady here by herself.. God Bless her. Takes way too long for a 2 min blood draw.She needs HELP, LabCorp....
Be sure to prebook an appointment before you arrive and check in at the kiosk when you arrive, else a very unfriendly attendant treats you rudely and bypasses you to the next person, regardless if you’ve been waiting for 10 minutes. It’s my fault for not checking in, but I didn’t already have an appointment and needed to ask the attendant some questions first. The rudeness was unnecessary. I went to ARC Point labs instead, and they were super friendly and accommodating.
I dont like to speak in global terms, but I am FORCED to use Labcorp by my insurance, I have been using this location for over 2 years, I can honestly say this location has NEVER been open for business at 7am. On my last visit I arrived at 6:55a.m., after placing 2 calls to the corporate office the location finally opened at 8:20a.m....
My son went to complete his lab work and arrived at 7:45 am on Monday. Office in total darkness and locked. Called before he went and automated message said hours were 7 - 3:30. Also, sign on door confirmed this. Other people were coming to door to open and realized same thing. Had problems in past with this location. Too far to drive to Slidell. This office needs new management.
I honestly can say that Walmart has a better customer service than this place. How do they function in 2017?The genesis of a successful business it that the customer comes 1st. They dont understand this rule at all.Save yourself time and go to the one in Covington on Hwy 21.What a difference in human to human interaction. In Covington they are professional, polite, and willing to stay extra minute in order to help the customer out.***** stars for them:)
Went to take a drug test at 3, online it says they close at 4. When I got there they told me they stopped taking people at 230. This is ridiculous. What about people who work during the day? Also, had to wait at the desk for 10 minutes only to be turned away by the rude front desk.This place deserves its poor reviews.
No stars. Go to the Covington location on Hwy 21 and speak with Shannan. She is tops and gives great, excellent customer service. I was in and out in 15 minutes tops.At the Mandeville location, I had to go twice in one day, and told to come back at a specific time, to which the person who could service me was NOT EVEN there and had to be called, and never showed up. NO ONE at the Mandeville location could even help me, and only one person was present at the time of my attempted service, during posted working hours.The person present at the Mandeville location can only answer the phone and do blood work. What about other services when NO ONE ELSE is present and should be by commitment and appointment?DONT go to the Mandeville location, take the time to drive to the Covington location on Hwy 21 and speak with Shannan.Whoever runs Lab Corp needs some serious attitude adjustments in the Mandeville location. They are worthless, not surprising, based on who works at that location.If you are mad, go to anger management and deal with your issues, dont take them out on the customer and make commitments that you do not adhere to. Sad, but not surprised.WalMart does have better customer service, and that is sad too, because I am a former WalMart employee, and that says little to nothing.When I logged on today to write this complaint, I thought I would find some positive review, but NOPE, all negative. Today, 03/28/2017 at the Mandeville location, I waited for over 2 hours and that is even with a confirmed appointment for 9am. Several people were cancelling who had been there since 8am. Another woman came in at 11 who also had an appointment but bullied her way back in front of all who had been waiting for sooooo long. No one answers the phone numbers listed, the complaint box is filled to the top and several people were writing new complaints as we waited. The management of this place is beyond terrible! I could find little resources to speak or call to discuss with management. So this comment will have to do.An update I went the one in covington 2 days later in and out in 15 mins! Perfect just tbe way it should be.
Told me the bill would be $100, sent me a bill for $300. Refused to budge.
