Was looking for a new quality barber shop near me (Manchester) and was not outrageously priced. I called Roland, he told me to stop by the shop and it was perfect. I was in and out in 15 minutes with a great cut. He was one of the best barbers I have encountered in my life - a proud vet with some serious skills with scissors / clippers.

Abdul was fantastic. I was visiting the area and checked google and it seemed like the majority of the people had a good experience here. I asked for a hair cut and hot shave and everything came out better than I could have expected. Abdul was very personable and it was a pleasure to sit in his barber chair. Next time Im in town I will stop in again.

Abdul is a really nice guy. He has great prices and he does exactly what you want. I walked in there and didnt really have much of an idea of what I wanted and he still managed to do exactly what I was looking for. He also does traditional face shaves which is awesome. Overall a great experience and I would recommend anybody to him.

I dont review many places at all, except for two (2), and this is my second review of a business. Abdul has been cutting my hair for close to ten (10) years now, and have not gotten a bad cut. A great thing about Abdul, is that he will cut your hair the way you want. You can talk him through the cut and he will follow your instructions. What I have to say to the people who have given bad reviews for this place, is that the bad cut is on you. Communication with Abdul always results in a quality cut. Anyways, solid haircut at a reasonable price at a comfortable shop. I have recommended several people to go to him and will continue to recommend to others as well.

I was running late and called my normal barber to ask to stay open late. Not gonna happen, they said. So, I called Abdul. He was gracious and stayed open for me... a new customer. When I arrived, he greeted my by name and gave me the best cut Ive had in years. Abdul is one of the best, if not THE best, barbers Ive ever been to. He really takes care of his customers and even wrote down the way I liked my haircut on a reward card and told me to bring it next time I come. Lots of personal attention, very friendly and even watched out for the meter maid for me. (I had forgot to pay, and he was concerned about that for me. Way above the call of duty!)

Since coming upon this gem, I keep taking my son back. Abdul is amazing, and when his cuts grow out, they dont look crazy lol I tend to go as long as possible between cuts for my four year old (although Abdul is starting to grow on him). My son will even tell you, who gives the best hair cuts? Abdul!

Both Abdul and Roland are incredible barbers. Its difficult to find a traditional barber shop these days. These guys dont just give you a buzz... You get an astounding haircut, forged by some 50 years of collective experience, a full neck, sideburn and behind-the-ear shave, an eyebrow trim, and quality hair product to finish up the cut. On top of being the best around, these guys are the friendliest group of individuals you will ever meet. They love what they do, and you can really tell.

Got my head shaved and beard trimmed yesterday. Very friendly and personable.He used a cheap bic razor. I ended up reshaving my head today.I also had some mean cuts on my neck on my way out

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A FADE! I went here because I saw all the good reviews but I did not have a good experience . I had Abdul cut my hair and I told him I wanted a high fade with 2 on top and skin on the sides. He clearly doesnt do much fades or know how to do them. Hair wasnt blended at all and I got the worst possible line up in the front. And when I told him I wanted it shorter on the sides he looked at me as if I had 10 heads. I wanted him to take a razor to the sides and back to make it shorter but he was clueless when I requested that.

Owner and his wife are excellent barbers. I have never left disappointed

I was staying at the Radisson and needed to get my hair cut for my friends wedding. Google told me that this place was right across the street. It literally took two minutes to get from my room on the tenth floor to the barber shop by foot (I am tall and didnt wait long for an elevator).Abdul greeted me very kindly and thanked me for coming. After I sat in the chair he asked what I do with my hair. I started to explain but he stopped me and asked how long it had been since my last cut. I said about six months. He said ok, I got it. I pretty much didnt tell him anything about what I wanted.I put my faith in him and let him have at it. He did an amazing job. He even razor shaved the back of my neck.Super quick, super kind, super affordable. If Im ever back in the area, Ill definitely stop in for a cut. Thanks Abdul!

Got my hair cut by a fantastic guy named Abdul who cut my hair in a great way despite my not knowing what I wanted. He was very professional, very skilled, and used a vacuum to get off as much hair as possible.

I had a great experience, Abdul was incredibly friendly and knew exactly what I was asking for without me knowing how to put it in words. He made the experience of picking a new barber a great one, and now I will only go there.

This is the place to go for men to get their haircut. I havent been to a place like this since my father brought me to his fathers barber as a kid. Abdul provides top notch service and skill in his work, I doubt youll be looking for another barber any time soon.

Great barbershop! I called today because all of the barbershops in Concord were closed. I spoke with a guy who said he would keep the shop open and wait half an hour just for me. I got down there and met Abdul, who not only gave me an excellent haircut, but proved to be a great guy. I am from Austin, TX and I come to NH a few times a year to visit friends and family. Granite State Barber Shop will be on my list of places to go every time I come up now to drop in and get a cut/ shave from one of NHs finest. Thanks Abdul!

I was just in area for few days shopping figured I get haircut while girl is @hotel sleeping so I find this place go in guy says come on have a seat blah blah u want down to skin I said ya skin fade ok he replied I should of known better soon I get comfortable in the chair he sits right down next to me in a chair and began to cut my hair not only did he just spin me around in the chair like a 3yr old playing in it but he just shaved my whole head to skin Im in shock cant say anything its already done so after few more spins in chair I tell him can u trim up my beard thinking hey atleast I say trim it up he prob b able to do that hit couple lines on side never took it down @ all so not only did he mess my whole head up couldnt do beard @ all I should have known better tho meanwhile the whole time Im in shock while sitting there Im just listening and his buddy and him are being very disrespectful to the other barber who is a different ethnicity for whatever reason obviously from what I saw cause that guy can cut and he cant so if i was that guy i would go somewhere eles and let that old man close his damn shop ...... Ive been going to luckys barbershop in concord, nh for the last few years. They give one of the best cuts around, but going there is stressful and makes me want to pull my hair out. I didnt think anyone could match their quality until I went to Abdul at granite state barber shop. His haircuts are quality, prices cheap, and he gets you off the barber chair quickly compared to spending an hour in a chair at luckys. He even writes the haircut you got down on a business card which is perfect if your like me and can never remember how to tell them what you want.

Theres no wait because everyone knows to not go there. worst line up Ive ever had in my life, dude nicked me more times in the one line up than Ive ever had combined. lines were a mess, crooked and not fully down out. did my moustache area but not under my nose for some stupid reason. used a used dull blade on the straight blade so god only knows what kind of disease i may have contracted from this. I wish I could get my money back. worst experience of my life when it comes to a line up. I will never go back or recommend it to anyone, I will tell everyone to steer clear of this place
