Nice old fashioned friendly barber shop with good prices!

The worst experience ever. I believe i had the owner giving me a haircut. I walked in and it smelt like someone had been smoking inside all day. Then no one in there is wearing a mask. I was given the worst haircut ever and was done in 10 minutes. In boot camp the haircut are meant to be painful but Elaine was more painful then those barbers with ease. She just shaved my sides(not even a fade) and ripped my hair out with scissors for a minute. I honestly think someone blind and deaf couldve given me something closer than i requested.

Elaine is great person and easy to talk to. She knows just about everyone in town it seems so dont be surprised if someone comes in for a chat with her. Other than that, you can tell she is skilled at her craft and is passionate about her work. Will definitely be visiting again!

When I moved here from South Portland, I was looking for a similar barbershop that I had back there. I was very happy to find Elaine‘s place ten years ago not far from me and that it had both the same kind of feel and same price as I was paying back there. I don’t have much hair left, but I trust her with each strand. There’s nothing like this place anywhere else around here that I’ve found, so the scariest thing for me is that she might close up when she gets tired of cutting hair.

Great place to stop in for a quick trim, but I found it to be a messy cut. The place is small which can lead to a longer wait, but it’s easy to park and head right in without a call ahead. The overall service was friendly and traditional

She did an excellent job, and was very engaging conversationally. Normally, I would find that irritating (I go to the barber shop for a haircut, not to learn the life story of strangers), but she was so charming I didnt mind at all. But the main reason to go is the haircut. She is very skilled.
