What a lovely place to hang out while I got my oil changed and summer tires put on. I got my own work station, right next to the coffee maker, so I could work while I waited. The whole building was light and bright. The service guys were sweet and helpful. Everything was perfect!
Been here 30 mins waiting to talk to someone about buying a new car. Not a greeting by ANYONE.Response to Quirk response: I understand that everyone is trying to stay safe. We were wearing masks and sat in the middle of your showroom for half an hour. Not one single Quirk VW employee uttered a word to us. Many walked right by us, may have glanced our direction, but again not even an acknowledgment our way. We saw transactions end with customers, the sales person got up and went behind the big desk. Not one of them took the care to greet us. Even if your transactions are being conducted online, do you really just ignore folks who are sitting in your showroom until I literally had to flag Will down and ask if your dealership is still open for business? The doors were open since I stepped through them.

You know when you get a flat tire on the way to work and it quickly becomes the worst day ever? Better yet when it’s a Monday. A quick phone call to Matt, in the service department, left me with nothing to worry about. I asked him if there was any possibility he could squeeze me in (on a Monday morning mind you) for not only one but four new tires. His response was simply, “what time will you be here? We will get it taken care of. Sorry you are dealing with this.” This is exceptional customer service and why I continue to drive over one hour to have my car serviced here at Quirk VW. Been going here for service on my VW Passat for 5 years now. Last 2 years they have tried to scam me on inspection items. One was on the tires that passed but the sales rep tried to get me to order new tires and now for the cracked tailight lense that they passed the previous 4 years. Will never use Quirk for anything again.

This is my 4th trip to cork they are always timely and efficient theres never a question when I call it Im a proud with my car I am squeezed it as soon as they are able to. They are ready with a rental as soon as I need it As a customer I value being treated with respect, and as I woman I have been to many dealerships that rolled their eyes at me when I explain what my car is doing. Quirk takes good care of me and my family. They explain everything and dont distract me with unnecessary things that my car doesnt need. When they do offer additional work, and I decline, they dont question me and they dont ask me to speak with my husband before making a decision...which is sooo insulting!!! My service experience on 6/12/20 exceeded expectations. Cameron, my service consultant, worked with me to schedule time for the repair on my new 2019 Volkswagen Beetle at my convenience. Cameron contacted me to let me know that we were on track for pick-up of my vehicle at the estimated time. My vehicle was completed precisely on time. At pick-up I found that it had been wiped down and cleaned up well. Pick-up was quick and easy.
This is our second vehicle with Quirk and Everytime we deal with them its just awesome. Jeremy Lent walked my daughter through the lease of her first car from start to finish; she is 19 and he took the time to educate her through the whole process. Patient and really fun to work with. His knowledge of his field, the economic and brand was above expectations. Cant imagine taking my business anywhere else!
Long story short: Quirk offered me dishonest pricing on a used 2020 vehicle (3500 miles used). Pricing was nearly identical to a brand new 2020 vehicle, and they upped the price of the new vehicle they compared the used to so I wouldnt catch on. Ive spoken with three people about this at Quirk and there has been no satisfactory resolution, hence the review. Check your pricing people and dont be swindled. Quirk - try and do better with your out-of-the-gate pricing and damage control. Havent even had a manager follow up, only sales guy to sales guy. Very disappointed, I fully expected to purchase a vehicle from Quirk. Will be going elsewhere.

I was looking for a tonneau cover for my car, and the factory part was big bucks. The OEM part was still pricey, but what would you expect? They were willing to find cheaper options which is a plus
Did a bait and switch on me... My fault I guess.. was quoted out the door price for 2021 Tiguan SE by another competitor in which Quirk ended up matching. Unfortunately upon taking delivery I discover its not a 2021 and instead its a leftover 2020 in which I lose out features and value compared to 2021.... feeling scammed.Update: I got a call back from the dealership asking me to take down this review and asking me what could they do so I can take it down I requested a few oil changes in which they denied.Like really? You cant offer me a couple free oil changes for a customer whos feeling he got the short end of the stick?
We are so happy with the lease purchase of the VW Jetta for our daughter. Our sales consultant, Brian Grogan, was extremely professional, friendly, and made us feel at ease. He was knowledgeable about the product/model - He made us feel good about our decision to purchase/lease a VW as we had other brands in mind. He gave us a very fair deal and never pressured us in any way. I highly recommend Brian Grogan. I will be buying a car myself next year and will be sure to seek out Quirk VW and ask for Brian!

Good luck! Plenty of smiles when you hand over your $30k, but when you need a repair and get your car back in dramatically worse shape it must have been an act of God! Cant use my car in the rain anymore. Better call your insurance company ahead of time. Be smart and go with your gut - you know VW isnt the wisest choice and this dealer is only going to make it worse for you.
Went in with four Grand they said they could get me financed, its like they didnt even try I could have put another 2,000 down to get financing they wouldnt give me the time of day I guess they have to like you whether or not you do business there

I’ve never even been to this dealership however the customer service over the phone was so terrible. The service personnel asked me which key I was looking to order and I asked what the price difference was. He said well usually people who call to order already know what they’re going to order and that I wasting his time by asking him a question the parts person would know. He was just incredibly rude so I ended up calling the commonwealth Volkswagen dealership in Lawrence and what an improvement it was. I felt like a valued customer and an additional bonus was that the service ended up being cheaper. I’d rather drive the extra 20 minutes than give this place a dime.
Quick and easy with no sales pressure.Just bought a 2018 GTI. Dealt with Cheryl over email and got prompt, straight forward answers and a firm price.Dealt with Joel for the test drives, he was polite and really let the car sell itself. Didn’t get a great price for my trade, so took that off the table and paid the sales price. Quick and easy transaction, financed in minutes (don’t recall the Finance Manager’s name), got me a great rate, then we walked through getting my insurance and the paperwork for registering in MA sorted.No sales pressure, quick and easy dealings. I drove an hour from MA for the price. Well worth my time.They did quote me what seemed like a high quote for time/$$ to install some accessories, so I passed on that. However, they were upfront about it, so no issues there.

This was my first time visiting Quirk of Manchester to purchase a car. I had Will Welch for my sales rep. Awesome guy to deal with and made the experience seemly and easy. My initial intent was to purchase a Tiguan but they didnt have it in stock anymore and then my 2nd options was the 17 Golf R but come to find out it had not met my expectations. But after mentioning i really wanted a Tiguan. He knew exactly which one and colour and got me to the payments i wanted. Overall an awesome experience, no pressure sales and i drove off with THE car i always wanted.

Had a great experience shopping here. They offered a fair deal from the start - on the lower end of the KBB good deal. They did a nice job working with me to find the car and value that was right for me. Honest value for my trade in as well. At no point did I feel pressured or that I needed to argue for a more fair offer.

We never felt pressured and drove away with the car we wanted within our budget. It was clear that the staff knows their product. I went in expecting a battle and left feeling like family. We recently leased a 2018 Tiguan from this dealership and had a great experience overall. Specifically working with salesperson Jeremy Lent was awesome. Ask for him when you go in. Hes a very nice, straightforward guy (not too sales-y like some where you feel you cant trust them), and worked with us in a patient, pleasant and fair way to get the numbers where we needed them. We had originally asked for a certain price and walked out when it wasnt met. At the next sales promotion event a week later we contacted Jeremy directly and he was very responsive (even on a day off!) and the dealership got us the numbers we needed. I was a bit surprised they didnt contact us to make a sale when the incentives changed as Ive been pursued by dealerships in the past, but thats not necessarily a mark against them.This dealership also gave us a great value for our trade-in. We shopped around and a dealership I wont name in northern Mass was going to give us almost $2,000 less for our trade.Overall great experience. I have also had prior vehicles serviced here over the last few years and have had no issues with their service department.Now, well see how the lease return process goes in 3 years....

We just bought a Beetle Convertible. The experience was fun! Everyone at Quirk VW, Manchester, was GREAT! So helpful and friendly, all that you would want in a Non-Pressure sale. Our sales person was Matt Choquette. He went the extra mile to help impress my wife on the merits of the Beetle. She was very comfortable talking to him about the car and he was quite professional in the way he explained the car with absolutely NO pressure. The decision to buy was hers based on the great information and friendliness he gave to her. We have never had the experience in making a major purchase such as a car as wonderful as the one we received at Quirk VW, Manchester. Just bought my new car from here and couldnt be happier with the service I received! The sales person (sorry I forgot his name) I had knew the inventory well and was patient with my crazy 2 year old. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me the options. The sales person even went out to help clean the car to get us out of there as soon as possible (as he knew my son wouldnt take much more). Everyone there was friendly, knowledgeable and straightforward. My son loved the monkey in the tree!

I went in to get a day time light bulb. I just moved into the area from the west coast. The VW dealer out there would replace the light bulb for free. Here they wanted to charge me to replace a light bulb. I know its not hard, but now I gotta figure out how to do it. The parts representative was not friendly.
Let me start by saying this was one of the best experiences I’ve had purchasing a car! I honestly didn’t go here first! I went to a different dealership and was treat wrongfully. I reached out to adobe found online and talked to Devon for a while about the new GLI. I went in and they offered me a fair amount for my trade and they worked with me to get the payment I wanted! Thank you Devon and the sales team for making it happen! Couldn’t be happier!
Absolute worst service department. Flat out lie to your face about failing inspection. Always video taped previous appointments, conveniently no video on day that $800.00 of mystery repairs were needed. Service reps are clueless and lie. No response from management or ownership because they already have your money. Filed two complaints with VW corporate and they could cate less. Avoid at all costs.
Drove an hour down to Manchester to try this dealership out. By far the most professional and reliable service center Ive been. I was very disappointed of the dealership in my neighborhood. This place however is very transparent and professional about the entire process. They even send you a video of the entire process!
My wife and I bought a new Golf recently from Jeremy Lent at Quirk VW. He was very cordial and professional throughout the process. He took great care to describe the cars benefits and patiently answered all the questions we had. We worked with the financial people as well as with the person who showed us how to use all the high tech products built into the car. Everyone made us feel welcome and we never felt we were be pressured into buying more than we wanted. All in all, the people at Quirk were great and we are very happy with our purchase.

Had a 9am appointment, made last week, for an oil change & tire rotation. I arrive promptly at the scheduled time. Did not get the car back until nearly 2 hrs later. That is not acceptable. The scheduler should not be overbooking (if that is the case) or, If unforeseen delays are occurring, the service writer should be informing the customer who is patiently waiting in the waiting room. I have chosen Quirk VW in the past for their impeccable service and, clearly, today I was disappointed.

Body shop is a joke. Took my car for 2+ weeks to replace fenders and hatch for warranty. Rescheduled my pickup time at least 5 times. Drove an hour to pick it up after I was told it would be ready for Monday at noon. Never got a call updating me and came only to find out they’re only just now painting it. Professionalism is a joke here.

I had a great experience in the sales department. Bought a car from them back in 2014. They were very helpful and still continue to be helpful. I sometimes go in just to ask them questions about different options when it comes to cars and credit and such. Keith L. Goes out of his way to answer all of my questions and is an exceptional sales person. Ive been to a lot of car dealerships and have dealt with dishonesty but not this place. They would rather keep getting a returning customer than be dishonest to get one sale. I highly recommend this place for buying a vehicle.

As a new buyer of a Diesel fuel car, the salesman/manager never gave fundamental winter maintenance info.This negligence resulted in problems and unnecessary cost.My family purchased 2 Volkswagen TDIs in the summer of 2017. As a new buyer of Volkswagen Diesel fueled vehicles it should be fundamental that the salesperson or manager provide critical winter maintenance awareness. (In light of living in New England) Due to winter temperatures my cars Diesel fuel congealed and this resulted in a need for a fuel flush and filter replacement, none of which is covered under warranty. Temperatures in New England always drop to temperatures that can impact Diesel fuel, yet the team at Quirk Volkswagen never informed me of the need to add an additive to the fuel as a preventive measure. The teams negligence with this matter is uncalled for, it should be fundamental that they inform buyers of these potential issues in order to ensure that there will not be unnecessary problems months after purchase.
