I went to Lous because my primary mechanic had recommended them for snapped in half muffler. I walked in expecting to have to shell out $300 or more....45 minutes and $100 later I drove off with a quiet car and no more worries! I recommend Lous custom exhaust to ANYONE with exhaust issues!

Everyone one was so professional and kind. One of my Cars Cadillac converter was leaking and no good. My car was very loud and had not much gas pedal response. They had my car running great again in less than an hour. And they took the time to educate me about the problem and show me exactly what had happened. They gave me a few options for fixing it and helped me decide on the best choice. I know nothing about cars and I really appreciated all the help. They also make sure I was all set to get a tuneup somewhere so that the new Cadillac converter did not get ruined. Price was very reasonable much cheaper then I thought it would be. After another location tried to gauge my wallet on nonexistent issues these guys got the job done at an honest price and in such a short amount of time. Was in Manchester for only the day and the muffler suddenly failed mid-afternoon and was loud and exhaust was permeating the car. Pulled up to Lou’s based on the recommendation of nearby Jiffy Lube. They got it right in. No unnecessary upsell. Fixed the problem and we were out of there for $40 bucks. AND the staff were all just SO nice.

Only took an hour to fabricate joints and attach a new stainless steel pipe. I didnt miss any work over it!

I meant to leave a review a couple of weeks ago, but I got so busy with other things that I forgot. In one of the first snow storms in Manchester NH Someone had tried to steal the catalytic converter from my exhaust system. Lous was able to take me in right away. The guys at the shop were very professional and helpful. The waiting area is very clean They explained the problem in detail and fixed my exhaust in under 20 minutes at a low price. This place seems reasonable and trustworthy. I did ask if they do auto repairs. I was advised that they only do minor mechanical procedures depending on what the problem is. I would recommend this place if you are having muffler problems.

Called around to a few shops to see what could be done with my 2020 Chrysler 300. Had a few hits, but mostly people just trying to get me in the shop. Evan talked to me, found out what I wanted, and did his best to suggest some things based on what I told him. When I got there today, I had told him the wrong information and the exhaust setup was not what we thought. Instead of trying to upsell me on a whole setup, he suggested something $400 cheaper than what was originally quoted. I told him I wasnt concerned about the cost, but he reminded me that I was the one concerned about passing inspection. He deleted my mid and fired it up, then asked me if I liked it. He was courteous the entire time, allowing me to watch, photograph, and film. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. I drove away happy and will be returning and recommending others. 10/10

I went to Lous in Manchester two weeks ago to investigate the possibility of a different exhaust setup for my 2017 Lincoln Navigator.(Lincoln engineers for some reason just threw a tiny muffler with a boring round tip and a minivan sound onto this luxury vehicle with a Raptor engine. ) Needless to say, I was not happy with it and headed to Lous in Manchester.The first time I went I waited about 15 minutes until someone in the reception area acknowledged me. I was told by the manager that they were too busy to accommodate me, or even chat with me for five minutes and to make an appointment to come back the next week.I did not mind, as I had just showed up unannounced, as they are a VERY busy shop.I returned the following week by appointment. The shop was busy again, (Monday morning) and I waited about twenty minutes till the manager Eric asked what I needed. I gave him a quick explanation about what I would like to see done to the Lincoln.He grabbed the keys and the vehicle was on the lift in a minute or two.After checking my exhaust system for leaks, a shop technician asked what I wanted.I shared that I wanted something sleek, and slightly aggressive, but not obnoxiously loud.He gave me a couple of suggestions, and asked me to select what kind of exhaust tip I wanted on the wall.There was a pretty good selection, and I settled on a chrome, small, rectangular slash cut type.He showed me some mufflers that he thought would be a good choice for my vehicle, and the desired sound and fitup.He told me what the install cost would be, I thought it was very reasonable, and he surprised me by telling me it could be done in 35 minutes that morning!He wasnt lying. He did all the cutting, measuring and fitting, and another tech did all the welds and leak checks. 35 minutes on the dot.It came out better than expected, looks wise, and sound wise.So in closing, 5 Stars for the work.I would say that the front desk/reception area is not fantastic, but this is a working shop, with all hands on deck. So it is worth waiting for the service.I also received a very generous veterans discount when checking out.My advice: If you are looking for custom work such as I was, have a pretty good idea of what you want before you go. This shop is not going to sit with you for an hour and design the exhaust of your dreams. Also, call ahead before showing up. But definitely use this shop if possible.

Great overall experience with Eric and the guys at Lous Custom Exhaust, probably the best mechanical service ive had in years! They are down to business, professional and hard working there! They got me in very quickly for an appointment which was nice because it was needed! They lifted my car up as soon as I got there, took a look and told me right away what they could do...never seen anything like that happen so fast at an autoshop! They gave me a GREAT price then got right to work. The work was probably done in 30 minutes! (sawing off a rusted out muffler from the middle of a pipe and attaching a new one without disrupting previous work) The welding looks clean and solid and the new muffler is attached very sturdily with a little custom work to reinforce. Everything was easy professional and fair. Overall Eric is clearly running a great business there and all the mechanic seemed liked they really enjoy their job and working there, that says a lot about a place!

I have come to this place over past few years and Eric thre manager would help me. I recently went to set up a repair on my wheel bearings and Eric was not there. I asked when he would be in and was told he no longer was employed there. I asked where he went and they said it doesnt matter. Well i felt really ackward the way i was being treated so i left. Was over priced for work done,Eric the manager was vulgar in language and not professional. Was charged $700 for flex pipe and resinator and install of a drive shaft without removing of old My drive shaft I had purchased and bought.I brought the vehicle to him because he had did a repair before but apparently didnt remember me or maybe dont like Caucasian .I have mass plates. Had have work done on my vehicle in New Hampshire before but Manchester seems to have thrives doing the pricing, not all but have run into a couple.

I had 2 cars worked on at Lous and Im very happy. My wifes Odyssey had an exhaust leak that they were able to weld up and it has been fine. They also found a bolt missing in a different area of the exhaust and took care of that. They were very thorough checking for additional leaks with a stethoscope set up. Very reasonable price too.

I was referred to Lous by Ed Reilly Subaru, because the OEM parts needed to fix the exhaust on our 2005 Baja turbo were going to run over $3000! Lous did the job within a day of giving me an estimate, for $1000 and with a 5 year warranty! They were helpful, called when the job was done, and even offered to take me to work.

I hate the mechanics. I feel like they are always trying to get money out of me. I don’t feel like this here. When there is a problem they will bring me in and show me what needs to be fixed and explain why. They always are nice and go above and beyond. My whole family goes here and I would highly recommend. Gary is awesome.

I figured I wait a couple months to leave a review until I actually tested the exhaust out for a bit. They did exactly what I wanted, for a great price. I have an 18 Silverado, and wanted something loud with a side exit before the rear tires. I love loud vehicles, and the flowmaster they put on sounds incredible, I also had them delete my third cat while they were doing the rest of the work. The pictures in my house shake every morning when I start my truck, I couldnt be happier with the way it came out. These guys did a great job, kept within the quote they gave, and did the job in a couple of hours. All in all going here was much cheaper than the kit I was looking into, and theyve earned themselves a repeat customer. I cant recommend them enough.

They quickly diagnosed and fixed the leak, inspected my car and had me on my way for a price I found to very reasonable, especially after some of the numbers I received from other mechanics in my area. Cat back exhaust put in 3 years ago and all the welds has holes in them. Didn’t own their issue and said they would give me an estimate for repair. The piping that was used is rustier than a 1980s ram truck bed. The tip rusted it out on the left side so bad that it feel off when I wiggled it. The right tip is somewhere on route 3.All in all, I will never go back.Update, since I can not reply to this thread. I did try to bring this in but was told that I would be charged. The piping was solid, it was the poorly done welds that gave up. I’m not trying to bash you, I’m just letting people know what their getting for their budget exhaust system. It’s more cost efficient and lasts longer for clamp on systems.

These guys are a pleasure to do business with. My daughters car failed an inspection for an exhaust leak and a friend of mine recommended Lous Custom Exhaust. I just showed up there and explained the problem, Eric put the car on the lift, came back in a few minutes and explained the repair and actually had it done in about 20 minutes. I also had them do the State inspection in an additional 10 minutes. This visit went so well, I asked if they do any other types of repairs. Eric explained that they do almost any car repairs, minus body work.
