Their website shows Special Moving Offers in Virginia - SAVE Big with heavy discount offers on Allstate Movers services in Northern Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland.When I called and asked about the discount, they told me it doesnt apply to moves from Virginia to DC. lolI dont know how to respond to their response, so Ill edit here. You are in Manassas. I am in Rappahannock County. Its 40 miles, not 100. Im moving to DC, which is 30 miles from your location. This is not exactly long distance, and you are smack dab in the middle. Also, your website specifically states that you have special offers in VA, DC, and MD, so you cant use the fact that you dont have a location in DC as an excuse when someone asks you to honor the discount you offer online.

Professional crew. They were pro movers, not just guys that pick things up and put things down. They moved an oversized item that 3 other movers said was not possible. They were strong guys and used a professional grade dolly that probably costs $500+. The fee was very reasonable. Absolutely no damage to my walls, floors or doors. They put it exactly where I asked. There was never any risk of dropping it. Trustworthy and Highly recommended.

I was very impressed by the speed of the move - they got me from a third floor apartment (with no elevator!) to a fourth floor apartment in about 4 hours total. With masks on no less! The movers were very nice and professional and knowledgeable. I am but a single English major who could not have moved on my own so I appreciate the help a lot. Thank you guys!!

These professionals picked up a safe purchased at Cabelas and delivered it flawlessly to the second story master bedroom of my home, up wooden stairs and over wood floors without a scratch. It weighed 460 pounds and they made it look easy.They even shimmed the front to ensure the door didnt swing on its its own. They were early to pickup and made sure not to block my shared driveway on delivery. I will definitely use them for any moving needs, especially something this large if needed in the future.

Hired Allstate Best Movers for a local move and glad I did. Prior to scheduling our move, I had numerous email communications with the company and they always responded back very quickly answering all my questions. The pricing for their services was given upfront and with with no hidden fees. Their prices are more than fair!My move was today, 10/4/2020 and the crew showed up on time ready to work. They were all pleasant, respectful, and professional. They took great care of loading and unloading our belongings. The team was courteous, responsive, and on time. They were meticulous in moving an oversized item, identifying a potential risk of damage to our wall, and taking the time to correct rather than rushing through what was probably the last job of the day. They even took the empty boxes afterwards for disposal. Will certainly use them again in the future, cant recommend them enough.

Alex and Jesus were outstanding! They moved a very heavy gun safe for me and didn’t scratch it one bit. They brought the right tools for the job and got it done expeditiously. Ali and his crew were great. They worked efficiently and moved several large pieces of furniture safely out of out townhouse with a narrow curved stairwell. Pricing was very fair, and I would definitely recommend Allstate Movers to anyone I know who is moving.

We used Allstate for a move in March, from one city to another. Steve was quick to respond to all my communications, gave us a great quote, and choose the perfect size truck and team to meet our needs.The team was prompt, professional, well equipped and did a fantastic job protecting our floors, walls and furnishings. Not one thing was broken or damaged.I don’t want to move again any time soon, but I would use them again in a heartbeat. We give them ten points out of ten!

Alex and Machai did a fantastic job to move a 700 lb safe into a tight storage area. They were meticulous to details and careful as to not damage any property - whether it was to concrete steps or even smudges on the walls (none!). These 3 guys just worked non stop from 10 am this morning until 7:47 this evening and I do mean non stop! Courteous, very very careful and and never complained! I pray they have a safe trip back to Va tonight with that huge load. You should definitely consider them for a move!

I had a sofa that was not going through my door. I contacted them asking for a quote and within a few hours they were able to come over and to carry it over the balcony for me. They are very prompt and fast! I’d like to give 5 starts for their communication, promptness and professionalism.

I couldnt be happier with my experience. I had a mid-sized piano that I needed moved from Burke to Manassas. Jason quoted me a very reasonable price, and that was the price I paid (no hidden fees like some companies do!). They were at the first house at 9 am, and had the piano unpacked and in place at 10:15 am. They did a great job with the packing, and the crew was completely professional. Five Stars!

They are a top rate moving company!!! I bought a HEAVY gun safe and called them to see if they were able to move into my basement. I called on Friday evening to explain my situation and they said it shouldnt be a problem. They planned on being at my house the next night. I received a call first thing in the morning to say that they could move first thing in the morning if I was available . Unreal!!!! Most companies push back the time and date, but they were actually speeding it up!!! They called at 7:45 and two movers were at my door by 10. They prepped my house and hardwood floors and moved the safe to the basement in about 15 minutes. Zero damage to safe or floor. The guys were very professional!!!! I would highly recommend this company. Top notch!!!!! They will be my go to company for anything in the future.

Over the years, Ive owned several large fireproof safes weighing anywhere between 750 to 1100 pounds. I know how extremely difficult and dangerous it is to move these types of safes. When I recently purchased a fireproof document safe that required it be moved from Silver Spring, MD to Northern VA, I contacted several reputable moving companies that supposedly specialized in these types of moves. Most never bothered to return my call, or even follow-up on my inquiry for a cost estimate or for scheduling.Allstate Movers was the only company that provided me an estimate on my initial call, and also quickly followed up with the scheduling of delivery of the fireproof document safe. Above all that, their rates were also very reasonable.Also, despite the misinformation on the specifications of the fireproof document safe, the lead foreman and his crew were able to make it work; The model safe they were moving actually weighed 200+ more pounds than I initially thought. Despite this, they took extraordinary care with the move, and in putting everything back to together.In addition, their lead foreman was able to fix what was a reported problem with a couple of cabinets of the fireproof document safe. It now operates much better than I was anticipating - I could not be more pleased with the professionalism, quality of work, and the work ethic of the entire crew with Allstate Movers. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Allstate Movers; they are now my go-to resource.

Moved a gun safe I had from my garage to my master bedroom with ease. They made sure to take special care of my linoleum and wood floors.

I contacted Allstate Movers to move a 120 gallon hot water heater from my basement. Alex and Hocine arrived at my house and tried to move the heater but it was way too heavy. They tried two different dollies but they couldnt get it up the stairs. I was close to giving up and leaving it in the basement but Alex wouldnt give up. He and Hocine laid the heater down and discovered that it was half full of water. Once it drained out they were able to move it out of the basement and on to the truck. Alex and Hocine did an amazing job moving the heater and even cleaned up the water in the basement. I would hIghly recommend Allstate Movers and especially Alex and Hocine.

They moved my 1000+ pound safe out of my basement and up a narrow exterior stairwell. A job no other safe mover or moving company would even bid on because a mechanical stair climber would not fit on the steps. Another moving company even told me that the safe was never going to come out of the basement.Four guys showed up on time and worked together very deliberately as a team. They did the job without scratching or breaking anything.Prior to negotiating the move and the price, I sent numerous pictures detailing every aspect of the route of the safe move from out of the basement. Further, I sent several measurements of doorways and the safe. They told me prior to the move, it may be more than the agreed upon price if the crew runs in to a problem. However, in the end, the safe was moved within an hour at the agreed upon price.

I was in the Military for almost 10 years, I have dealt with a lot of different moving companies. These guys blew them out of the water for 1/3 of the price. The entire team was extremely detail oriented and i am not kidding when I say that they did not hit a single wall. These guys are amazing. I would recommend to anyone anytime! I used AllState Movers twice in the last 5 months. The first time was when I sold my house and moved to a temporary apartment while our new house was built and the second time was to move from the apartment to the new house. They came highly recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint. Moving is hard and I appreciated the fact that they took all of the stress out of the moving process. They were punctual, extremely professional and very very careful with my belongings. Their estimate was dead on and there were no hidden fees and no surprises. To top all of that their price was extremely reasonable. After the second move, I texted the moving company manager and expressed my gratitude for the exceptional service they provided me. And I volunteered to write this review for them. It is the least I can do. You will not regret going with these guys.

I used Allstate Movers to move a large safe in Northern Virginia, and couldnt be happier. I had called 5 other moving companies and gotten quotes 1.5 times more money then theirs....two companies didnt even call me back. Not only were Allstate Movers extremely reasonable price-wise, they were also 100% professionals. They had the right equipment and their experience was apparent. The safe was dropped off in less than 20 mins and Mike even took the time to rearrange some shelves and describe the interior options. I will be using them again!

Moved us well for a reasonable price

Im pleased about every part of my recent move by Allstate Movers. After getting the basic information by phone, and then talking to many other movers and making notes that got so messy it was confusing, I asked the Allstate move coordinator if he could send the details in an email. His friendly email made everything crystal clear -- the hourly rate, number of movers, size of truck, timing, estimate that included taxes and insurance coverage, and the claim that there were no hidden charges. All of that turned out to be true, with the final cost coming in under the top number of the estimate range. There were no surprises during this move. The three-man crew worked well together, never stopped moving, and were always good humored. They quickly wrapped the furniture that needed protection, and efficiently got all items into the truck and well-secured for the long drive. Thank you, Mechai, Mamar, and Gurlma! You guys did a great job! Thanks also to the move coordinators Ali and sometimes Jason. I was nervous about the move and am very happy it turned out so well. Ill call again for the second stage of this move and any moves beyond that. It was a pleasure doing business with you, and I highly recommend your company.

I just wanted to say thank you and also want to let everyone know how pleased I am with Allstate Movers! I typically do not write reviews, but was so pleased, I thought I write and share. A friend referred me to Allstate Movers in 2012 and I have used them for 4 moves which includes residential and a business move (and another one pending closing). The guys are professional, they came in, did the job, no dilly-dallying or numerous/long breaks, if any. I had scheduled a move the day after returning from out of the country/vacation, where they came in and did everything (e.g., took pictures off the wall and wrapped/packed items from my pantry, everything), and the entire move was completed uneventfully. Nothing has ever been broken, missing, and items are wrapped and handled with care. They have been flexible and accommodating with the complications around moving a partial home and split moves from storage to house and sliding closing dates which were all coordinated via email and prompt return calls. I highly recommend Allstate Movers to get the job done professionally, theyre dependable, efficient, and within budget. Thanks again guys!

They suck!! Rediculous to deal with. Called 2 times only to be transferred several times. Put on long holds. Must be commissioned based and would keep directing me back to a person who never seemed to be in. When stating just wanted help, Paul McDermott tried to again redirect my call. So hung up. The tool challenged me by sending emails to me. Bad decision Paul!
