I cant say enough how fortunate I feel to have such a quality gym Im the area. If you are looking to take control of your health, and get results that you will absolutely notice when you look in the mirror I dont know if theres a better option. The workouts are challenging, but progress is based on your ability. There is a community atmosphere that makes it welcoming and not intimidating for beginners or gym rats. Everyone holds each other accountable, which helps get me up in the morning! Now that Ive been going consistently for multiple months I cant imagine not have this as part of my routine, and even as an ex-D1 athlete I dont know if Ive ever been in better shape.
Raise the Bar has truly changed my fitness journey forever. The faculty, atmosphere, workouts, & fellow athletes are all top notch. While attending RTB progress isn’t just possible it’s inevitable!
RTB is amazing! They offer great programming and amazing coaches. They have a community vibe where everyone is friendly and encourages each other. I would highly recommend!
RTB is committed to its clients on many levels. They have taken a different approach to fitness. RTB brings the group together with social media silliness, group trips and informative podcasts. You are part of a team when you join RTB. Its a refreshing approach to fitness and I highly recommend RTB!
I joined RtB in January 2021and all I can say is, I wish I would have joined sooner. I love it there. The members and coaches are so welcoming. If you need a modification, they have it! Every workout is different, so its never boring, especially the 6:00 a.m. class LOL There is a class schedule/time for everyone, so there should be no excuse :) This is an amazing gym and the coaches are the best!
I have never felt less judged and more encouraged to workout to start getting healthy. The environment is so positive and you never feel left out. They help modify workouts which is a plus because I struggle. The coaches are amazing and very understanding. What I appreciate the most is that is more of a workout gym class instead of a gym where you walk in and have no clue where to start. RTB is absolutely the best gym I’ve ever joined
Small but fully equipped, very welcoming local gym. Clean - they follow COVID cleaning rules very seriously! Great workout and nutrition programs. Owners know you by name and are super easy to communicate with. They adjust programs to your needs and abilities. I have quite a few inabilities due to chronic and temp contusions and sprains and they adjusted workouts for me each and every time. I love it !
Brian and Jenny are absolutely awesome. I only met them virtually via phone calls, text messages, and Zoom workouts but they truly care about their clients because you become friends. The workouts are awesome offering both easy and regular ways of completing the exercise. Motivation is key and their enthusiasm is contagious. But their focus on nutrition is the key to having success and that is an integral part of their program.
The entirety of the staff and clients at Raise the Bar Fitness were so welcoming. I am very over-weight and I have injuries and needed modified exercises. While the trainers pushed you to go further and longer, they never exceeded what I could do safely, although sometimes I thought they were trying to kill me. LOL I never felt singled out or looked down on. Quite the opposite, the staff and even every client I came in contact with; were supportive, friendly and encouraging. Funny to see a huge hunk of a man (Lou Ferrigno type) making conversation and helping me through encouragement, to make it around the building on a run (well sort of a run). But honestly, I cant say enough about how great these people are. Skip the other gyms this is the one you want to frequent. I feel better, look better and have lost weight in slow meaningful manner. Thanks Raise The Bar Fitness!
My husband and I joined RtB at the end of May 2017 and havent looked back. You might be here looking at reviews because you are wondering how RtB will help you lose weight, lose body fat, and fit into smaller clothes. Today, I have some metrics to share with you. I have lost 23 lbs and 8% body fat. I have lost 3 inches from my waist, 4 inches from my hips, 4 inches from the area around my belly button. My chest size has decreased 2.5 inches, my biceps 1 inch and my thighs 2.5 inches. I am swimming in the clothes that were way too snug for me in May. The things you stand to lose are real nice but there is something even more fabulous than all you might lose. That is all the things that you stand to gain.I have gained the concern that Brian, Jenny, and the coaches take in my overall health. This place is more than a gym. Team members at RtB express interest in my goals, and offer plans, including meal plans with real food, to help me get there. After all, one cannot out exercise a bad diet. I have gained all the encouragement and fun that comes from a community of experienced coaches, as well as, encouragement from other members at varying degrees of fitness--novices to the most skillful. Highly skilled members are awesome in that you can see what you are working towards.Another area where I have experienced gain is the strength I have built while at RtB. In Phys.Ed. class throughout my adolescence I was the girl who couldn’t do much, if anything. Well, that isn’t true. I was pretty good at ribbon wands, haha. Now I can climb a rope, lift weights over my head, do weighted squats, including overhead, and handstands. I’ve discovered back muscles!Healthwise, I am in much better shape. I see the evidence in a new found softness of my hair and compliments on my “glowing” skin.I have gained the ability to work like I have never worked before. I am not simply passing time on a treadmill or an elliptical like I have done so many times before. I am pushing myself way beyond the threshold of comfort. I am sore more days than not because of it. That soreness is a badge of honor.Lastly, I have gained immeasurable pride in the work I am able to do, in work I have done, and in my accomplishments during these past few months. I look forward to seeing what my fitness and health future has in store for me. At RtB you have so much to lose, but, so much more to gain!
Great workout programming a coaches. The gym is very clean and well organized as well. I’d highly recommend it to anyone.
Ive never been a gym person. Ive tried going in the past and never felt comfortable or really new what to do to get in shape. Upon entering Raise the Bar and talking with Brian, the owner and head coach, I knew this place was different. Brian took the time to listen to my goals and address all my concerns. At my first class I was welcomed by everyone, trainers, staff, and members. Everyone is friendly and encouraging. Ive made huge steps towards improving my health, and made some great friends along the way. Give them a chance, you wont be disappointed.
Ive been here for over two years now and its my home away from home. I was in good shape before I started but wanted to try Crossfit. Best decision ever...wish I would have started sooner. Now Im about to be 50 and in the best shape of my life. I give Brian and Jenny the credit for pushing me and their great coaching. The gym environment...were a big family! If you want to learn how to take care of yourself with fitness and nutrition, this is where it is!
I love the enthusiasm of all the coaches. The workouts are great; unique and every muscle is getting worked out. The none repetitiveness of the workouts makes them fun. I look forward to each workout. And the schedule is just right when you need an active rest day vs cardio or kick-butt leg day. Love RtB!
Amazing gym. The coaches all know what they’re doing and how to motivate. Glad I signed up.
The workouts produce great results. I have lost fat and gained muscles. You do different exercises every day so you do not get bored with the workouts. I always feel better physically and mentally after my workouts. The coaches are fun too.
The best strength and conditioning environment I’ve ever set foot in. I was looking for an environment that embraces and understands how to work with people like me who are living with past injuries; hectic work and family schedules; and struggling with weight, strength, and flexibility. I was immediately treated as if I were family and enrolled into a strength and conditioning program tailored just for me by nationally recognized professional trainers. I was able to pick the strength and conditioning sessions that work best for me and quickly found myself surrounded by a great network of people on a similar journey. I found myself leaving every 1-hour session 1000+ calories burned, completely refreshed, and more confident to take on the day ahead. I lost weight, gained strength, made new friends, increased flexibility, and obtained relief from old injuries within 30 days. If you’re looking for a safe, fun, lively, professional grade, results-based strength and conditioning environment – for the novice and expert alike – then you should stop by and give Raise the Bar a try!
I reccomend Raise the Bar fitness because it has helped me a lot reaching my fitness goals. I have been a member since June 2019 and my fitness has improved a lot. It is also a very fun place filled with great people working towards same goal. Coaches are amazing! Very knowledgeable and helpful...way different to other gyms I have attended.
I joined about 3 years ago and it was the BEST decision of my life. I finally found the confidence and strength in myself that I never had before. I not only gained muscle and confidence, but I gained an AMAZING gym family who is so supportive and motivating. Life without RTB wouldn’t be the same! 💪🏼💜
Over the years, I have held several local area gym memberships but nothing compares to Raise the Bar. The owners are amazing and truly care not just about their members meeting their fitness goals, but about members overall health. Raise the Bar is my fitness family and I am so grateful to have found my tribe. All fitness levels are welcome - if you need to modify an injury because of an injury or other issue, the coaches will give you modifications. Great programming, coaching and community!
Brian and the whole team will change your life.
I have been going to Raise The Bar Fitness for 10 months now and Im going to share my experience thus far. Brian, Jenny, & the rest of the amazing coaches of Raise The Bar Fitness have completely changed my life - I can honestly say that Im in the best shape of my life physically and mentally because of their gym. The community they have created at their establishment is unlike any other Ive experienced and will happily embrace any new member with open arms. I must admit, when I first learned of the intensity and price, it was quite intimidating even for someone who had been working out for 7 years. After spending 10 months working out here every morning (for the most part) I can say its easily been one of the best decisions of my life and been worth every penny. Thank you for the family youve created and allowed me to be apart of!
Great gym! Run by wonderful people.
Brian and Jenny have been very helpful from the very beginning I started to do cross it with them about a year ago then I signed up to do the nutrition with them as well I recently just switched over to the flex and fire in that class FIREEEE. Great gym great people
Ive been a member here for going on 5 months now. Before this I had never even stepped foot in a gym because it was so intimidating for me. Not here though! Immediately from day one youre taken in like family. The amount of support and accountability that can be found here is astounding and is exactly what I needed to keep me motivated and moving forward. I am constantly challenging myself and learning new things the longer I am here. The coaches and staff are all very knowledgeable and super friendly and will help you out with anything. Definitely give this place a try, you wont be disappointed!
The coaches push you to reach a potential you never knew you had and my fitness journey will never be the same! When I joined, it was like I was already apart of the family. Brian and Jenny are always there to work with everyone individually, then bring us all together to conquer the workouts. Love RtB!!
I recently completed the 6 Week Challenge offered by Raise the Bar. I came across this program as I was searching to find a wait loss program. This program had all that I was looking for like nutrition plans, fitness classes and weigh ins. The staff was great! Knowledgeable and worked well with all levels of fitness. The fitness classes were designed to accommodate all people. I like that the staff gets to know you and really wants you to achieve your goals. I highly recommend this gym. I think my wife will try the gym and maybe even enter this challenge. The gym and this challenge are life changers!
Love this place. My friends could not believe how my sone had changed in a short period of time. He went from being close to obese to looking strong and fit. Absolutely recommend this place.
Amazing gym, with amazing people. The support from the coaches was unmatched. I lost 25lbs during my time there
This place changed my life! Over 40 and probably in the best shape of my life! Thanks to Brian, Jenny, and all of the trainers! What a great fitness community to be a part of!
After having talked with my brother who was already a new member of their gym, I decided to give the 6 week challenge a shot. 6 weeks later, I feel like I am finally back on track and within sight of the lowest weight I have been since high school. Simply put, if you follow the plan and work hard, you will see results. Looking forward to continuing to work with the great staff at Raise the Bar and achieving more results!
I recently completed the 6 Week Challenge offered by Raise the Bar. This program offered nutrition plans, boot camp classes and accountability via weekly weigh ins. The staff and members of the gym are incredibly encouraging and work with you at your specific level of fitness, regardless of where you are on your journey. Each class offers a challenge for all levels of participants- from the beginners to the seasoned athletes. The staff here actually know you by name and are invested in helping you reach your fitness goals. I highly recommend this gym if you are searching for a place with friendly, encouraging staff and members. This is the first time in a very long time that I look forward to working out and the results are starting to show.
Raise the Bar will change your life. Strength training, nutrition, supplements and all in a community that will support you all the way. Have a current injury or a previous injury? Not to worry the coaches know what to do so that you dont miss out on any of the classes. RtB is veteran owned and operated with amazing coaches and great athletes to workout with. Brian and Jenny (owners) really care about each individual that walk through the doors.
RTB has changed my preconceived notions of what a gym is. They get to know you as a person and strive to make you stronger through fitness and nutrition. There is a strong team mentality along with family atmosphere which helps your determination to do better and achieve your goals. I am a better person from what RTB has taught me.
I have been at Raise the Bar for 3 years now and after every visit, I find myself looking forward to the next workout. The gym community is unlike any I have experienced. It is this community that is always there to push you to go just a little harder in a workout, but to also offer a positive word of encouragement after those workouts where personal goals may not have been met. If you are looking for a new gym home, please consider giving Raise the Bar a try!
Raise the Bar gave me the jump start I needed to finally challenge myself and help me lose the weight I wanted. In 6 weeks, I lost 15 lbs and 6% body fat. What Im learning has been tools to use in and out of the gym. This is a gym that gets you results and the trainers keep everyone accountable but also work with your skills and capabilities. Great staff and amazing workouts!!!!
Great founders are very professional and there staff is outstanding👍 I am very pleased that I found out about raise the bar ! If I could give it 💯 stars ⭐️ I would but it only lets me do 5 ! I am very happy with the workouts and nutrition! GREAT PLACE AND GREAT SOULS 🏋️♀️😁👍 Keep up the GREATNESS 💪🏼
This place is awesome!!! I recently participated in the 6 week program and it was more than I could ask for. The team environment of the classes coupled with the meal plan that was provided really gave me the boost I needed. The coaches keep you engaged and ensure you are doing the exercises correctly so you dont injure yourself. If youre looking for a place to challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone, this is it!
Brian and Jenny are fully invested in every members success. They give 100% so you can give 110%. The classes are fun, challenging, motivating, and rewarding. I started at RtB in 2015 because I was getting sidelined with running injuries. I havent been injured since. In fact, Ive set a PR in every distance since adding RtB to my running program.
Just completed the 6 Week Challenge at Raise the Bar and due to my hard work and listening to the Coaches and following the Meal Plan. I was successful in achieving my weight loss and learning how to eat better. This place is engaging and the class setting is great fun as you learn to lean and push each other. NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND!
Raise the Bar has changed the way I feel about fitness and exercise. I never felt comfortable going to a typical gym, but Raise the Bar isnt that. I look forward to my workout days. I love the anticipation of finding out whats on the agenda for the day. The workouts are challenging, varied and exciting! At Raise the Bar I am motivated to give it my all. The trainers are friendly, encouraging and always willing to share their knowledge. Love it!
I would give 10 stars if I could!! I absolutely love everything about Raise The Bar Fitness in Manassas, VA.....the coaches, the workouts, the environment, the community and especially the value! You truly get what you pay for when you are a part of the RTB family!
Well worth the investment, rtb and crossfit are the most professionally run fitness classes I have been apart of. Instructors always emphasize and continually coach proper form, and always encourage you to push beyond your comfort zone. Beyond that, no judgement at all, friendly and welcoming community, I would recommend to anyone, whether you are just starting on your fitness journey, or if you are a seasoned veteran.I failed to ad the owners do an incredible job of maintaining an organized, clean gym. And probably most importantly, I never imagined in my life Id have this much fun working out! As long as you stick with it (i went from size 46 pants to size 38 since I committed myself) youll enjoy the journey and with some patience youll see the results.
I joined Raise the Bar 5 months ago, after moving to VA. The owners are amazing and VERY knowledgeable. Great coaching staff that encourages and pushes you. Challenging and well thought through programming and workouts. Although its a busy season for me and I have not attended any events, they get together frequently outside of the gym. Also, they give back to the local community. What more could you ask for?!?! Also, everyone is at different levels with different backgrounds. Thats the beauty of Crossfit. Before starting Crossfit 3 years ago, I RARELY worked out but in the best shape now than in my 20s (mid 40s now). Try out a class, youll be glad you did.
Great coaching and motivation to work out. The members really support one another and workouts are killer. At Raise the Bar they really care about your fitness journey.
Cannot say enough great things about RtB! Jenny, Brian and their amazing coaches provide so much support and top notch nutrition and fitness coaching! Such a friendly, non-judgmental environment! Do yourself a favor and check them out! You will not regret it - and the results will amaze you!
I just finished my 6 week boot camp and I couldnt be more excited. I was so nervous starting, but the staff and fellow gym membership are absolutely amazing. You feel like part of a team from day one! The boot camp is a great combination of nutrition, exercise and accountability. You will definitely get 100% results if you can give 100% for the 6 weeks. Keep up the great work Raise the Bar!!!
Jenny and Brian are amazing people who truly care about your health and well being! I love them!
This past Saturday I completed my 6 week challenge at Raise the Bar. In the end, I lost 28 pounds and 9% body fat. The workouts were challenging and effective. One of the things I liked most was the environment. Everyone is encouraging and friendly and pushes you to do your best in class. They also provided me with a meal plan. It was easy to follow, but probably my least favorite part of the program. The trainers are amazing and honestly it is the best bootcamp i have attended.
I was over 50, out of shape and had knee problems. Knew it was time to do something about my diet and physical health. I signed up for Raise the Bar’s 6-week challenge and just finished the 6 weeks. I am amazed at how much better I feel in such a short time! I dropped 4% body fat, my cardio improved and I can bend my knee 😳 I was not able to prior. I found the meal plan to be the biggest change in my world. I am now eating healthy foods I like and still do little cooking (microwave queen). It fit my busy world and I can maintain it! The staff and owners are fantastic. They help you with any concerns and keep you on track. Feels like family and all ages, shapes and sizes succeed here. Best decision I’ve made for myself in a very long time. 💪👍
There is no better place to find your true self. After 4 years of membership, I am still challenged daily by this amazing group of trainers and athletes. No BS, this is real athleticism, not a fad or trend. Check them out.
Want people who are truly invested in your well being? Raise the Bar is for you. Great family atmosphere, support system.
Amazing owners and staff. No-judgement gym with members who all support each other to do their best.
Their name says it all.. Raise the bar fitness is one of those one of a kind atmospheres... although exercises are created equal, not all gyms are! and These guys are freaking awesome!! John and his team are always killing it and will not stop till you achieve the results are striving for!
I was looking for the best route to get started on my weight loss journey. As I was checking fitness videos on YouTube, I ran across advertisement for Raise the Bar. It was not too far from where I lived, so I scheduled an appointment to check it out. It was one of the best decisions I have made all year. Joining the 6-week challenge jumped started my weight loss well pass my expectation. The workouts are challenging but you have so much support from the coaches and gym mates that will keep you going. The meal plans are balanced and I never had to starve myself. In 6 weeks, I lost 31 pounds! It was a wonderful experience and I recommend that if you are considering it, go for it. Good luck on your journey.
One of the worst places I dealt with! They drag you and tell u things and once u paid u discover it’s way something else!I was to pay almost $270 and I did pay and then discovered hahahaha they want me to pay $800!!!!!!STOP MANIPULATE PEOPLE PLEASE!update - as a reply to the person who answered my comment!it seems you have this answer for all the negative comments as an answer!smart but not that smart.. anyways we learn from our mistakes and as far as myself I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Raise The Bar (RTB) is AMAZING! I lost over 40 lbs! I was overweight and always tired! Being stressed out and feeling lost, I was referred to RTB and was hesitant at first but once I came to the first group class, I was SOLD! By joining this community, the friends and people I met and have connected with have become my family! Its been awesome! I highly recommend checking out Raise The Bar!
I recently completed the six-week challenge.Workouts: The workouts are tough. When you first walk in and see what is expected of you, it can be a little overwhelming (especially if you haven’t worked out like that in a long time, or ever). What’s fun is that by the end of the 6 weeks, you walk in and see the work out of the day and know that you can do it. Frank is a great trainer and pushes you without being overwhelming, and the atmosphere in the gym is positive and encouraging (no judgements).Diet: The diet can be really hard. It’s super restrictive, which is why it works. I can see the benefits of the food prep as it keeps you in line. If you are single, or child-free, I don’t imagine the food prep will be too hard. I feel like it’s harder when you have a family to live like this for 6 weeks. It’s doable, but it would literally take all day. Protein shakes: some people love them, I was not one of those people. I did find the fudge brownie to be the most tolerable. It’s important to eat everything on the diet; it will help you reach your goal.Accountability: Posting photos of your groceries and food prep really helps in the accountability. Seeing that other people are with you helps too. Plus, you can find a few good ideas for recipes that make the diet better. I would agree with previous reviewers that feedback after the first half of the challenge would be an improvement.Bottom line: If you’re considering doing the challenge, you might consider just joining the gym instead. If I could go back, I would have just joined the gym and skipped the challenge. I met my goal, but it was crazy hard and feel burned out now.TL;DR: Good gym/workouts, hard diet, nice program that gets results. Recommend the gym but not necessarily the challenge.
I just completed the 6 week shred challenge. I have to admit, I was skeptical but with the money back challenge I figured it was worth a shot. Well, I lost 30 pounds and am getting in great shape! The diet worked (though it wasnt necessarily easy to break old bad habits), the strength training is great- with hands on help from the coachs and a great community where everyone in class is helpful, weekly weigh ins provided good accountability, and the coachs were always willing to chat when I had questions. Great Program and I highly recommend it.
Great place to get results! Everyone here is very supportive in getting you the results you are looking for. I have lost 28 lbs in 6 weeks and should have done it sooner. If you need the motivation to get busy, go see Raise the Bar in Manassas, Va.You will regret not going!
I just finished my six week challenge and lost 31 lbs! I have always struggled with weight loss and this gym put together flawless meal plans and workouts to keep you active and burning fat! The accountability aspect along with great coaching and friendly members really keeps you motivated! I highly recommend this gym and program!
Its not a gym, its a church with weights. The owners have become family for me. If youre looking to grow both in your fitness AND your faith, look no further than RtB.
Best gym in the area hands down, you are treated like family and given a clear plan with guidance and accountability for nutrition and workouts
This place is fantastic. The workouts are structured so that you have a great time doing them (even while working your butt off) and cant wait to come back the next day. And, when you join you become part of the incredible RTB community that will support you, give you encouragement, hold you accountable and become an important part of your life. RTB has made a huge positive impact on my fitness, health and overall well being and I cant recommend it more highly.
I have been coming to this gym for over 2 years and my only regret is I cannot come more often. The coaching staff and owners are top notch compared to other gyms I have been to. I came from a place in life where I was overweight, binge eating, sitting at a desk and keeping to myself. RTB has got me back in shape, motivated to reach my goals, excited to see what workout is coming next, and sharing stories with other gym members. The bonus factor is our community. Since I retired from the Army I found it difficult to associate with others at work. At RTB we are a family, we push each other, motivate, joke, cry, go on adventures, and share intimate details about our lives in a non-judgmental and encouraging environment. You will not find that anywhere else and RTB brought that structured familiarity and camaraderie back to me which is priceless.
I have been a member of this gym for over 2 years- that says a lot because before meeting the Sweeneys I couldnt stay motivated for over 2 months. This is not just a gym. This is a community that keeps you accountable and encourages you to be at class because they need you too to stay on track. I personally prefer the crossfit side but the Reflex side of the gym is awesome too. I attend both sides depending on what my schedule allows. Additionally, I trust the coaches to train my child in the Crossfit kids program- believe me when I tell you I am extremely cautious when it comes to my son and they are wonderful!!!! He doesnt get enough physical activity at school and the crossfit kids program is a lot like what I remember PE used to be - challenging and a great energy burner. Anyway, love Raise the Bar. The door is open and would recommend a conversation with the owners before you think, crossfit isnt for me. I thought that too and Im so glad I was more open minded when I needed to be.
Great workouts, great people and great great atmosphere in general. Would 100% recommend it to others!
I would encourage anyone that is working towards living a healthier lifestyle to try Raise the Bar. The atmosphere is great and there is no judgement from the coaches or other members. The support is unbelievable.
I had a great experience at Raise the Bar. This gym is not like any other gym Ive been to. The people and coaches are amazing. The enviroment at gym is just really friendly and welcoming. The work outs are desing to push to your limits. Im completing the 6 weeks challenge. Im 31 years old and Ive lost about 18lbs reaching 10% body fat. I am in the best shape Ive ever been.
I just recently completed the 6 week challenge and the results surpassed my expectations. I didn’t think I could lose 25 pounds in 6 weeks but I ended up losing 27 pounds! Their program is a great combination of a healthy diet along with always changing fitness classes that are a good balance of strength training with cardio. The accountability they hold you to is key and I recommend you give them a try if you are looking to jump start improvement in your life.
Raise the Bar is the real deal - their 6 week program is the BEST! Amazing coaches, they have thought of everything to put you on the path to success!
One day while reviewing my Facebook I found this ad FREE 6 weeks challenge review it, and I said this is what I need, I signed up, and went to the orientation, since you put a foot in this gym Everybody is friendly and attentive. The best decision I made was to register for the 6 week challenge, these 6 weeks have changed my life, they have motivated me to keep losing weight, and I have motivated friends, the experience is unique, the staff is very professional, work out the best routine, never get bored of the same exercises, during my 6 weeks challenge I lost 30 pounds, and that helped me to make a decision to stay in the gym for a little bit more time.Thank you very much Brian and Jenny, for all your help and advice, thanks also to all the staff.RTB Is the best.Gerardo Alvarado
Ive had horrible experiences here with the owner, Brian. He signed me up for a family deal at one price, and then over-charged me every month until I finally canceled my membership. When trying to get Brian to rectify the fraudulent charges, he was quite aggressive with me and acted as if the issue was my fault. At one point even telling me that this wasnt his problem and he didnt really care if I canceled. I am in an industry where member engagement is a huge part of what I do daily. I would never dream of treating someone the way he treated me. I would not recommend giving your money to someone who has no problems mishandling it, either. Not when there are three or four other crossfit gyms with nicer communities within 3miles of this one.
Raise The Bar is your life changing facility. I call it a facility because it is MUCH more than just a gym. RTB offers life changing amenities from health, exercise, nutrition, strength, endurance, community, and more. RTB welcomes everyone with open arms and NO JUDGING! RTB and the staff has changed mine and my families life forever. If your looking for a place to help change and keep you on the right path for the future, dont hesitate to come on in for a consultation and get started on the NEW YOU!
Please read the contract carefully cause they dont mentioned about the non-refundable fee when you enrolled. They try to sell the challenge for $600 and when you dont reach your goal they dont return your money. Make sure before you take a decision.
Amazing! Great coaches and support. Always motivating you to continue to learn and grow.
When I signed up for the 6-week challenge at Raise the Bar I was really nervous. After the first class I went to it changed my mind. The coaches are so helpful in explaining all of the exercises and they always have a modification if you can’t physically do something. The classes are always different and challenging. In the middle of the challenge I sprained my knee and was completely bummed that I wouldn’t be able to keep going, but I showed up and after talking with Jenny she had a plan. I feel very much at “home” at Raise the Bar, no one there is judging you just encouraging you to keep going. The meal plan was hard at first, but after the 3rd week it became easier to meal prep and was awesome to just have grab and go meals that were healthy. Thanks to Brain and Jenny and all of the coaches for helping making these changes, I feel better and look forward to going to the gym.
Fun place... great energy.... awesome Tribe of people.
I am enjoying to be part of this gym since day 1. Awesome people, great environment.
Its not free at all. Dont fall in their commitments.
They advertise a FREE 6 week program for the first 50 people to sign up. Once you arrive theyll sell you hopes, but right at the end of your first consultation, they require you to pay $600 as deposit. Please review the screenshots taken of their advertisement. Nowhere does it say or imply there are restrictions to their offer. Its classic Bait and Switch! Im not alone, please see Google Reviews, Yelp! and the BBB for several others, like myself, who felt deceived and cheated.UPDATE:(THEY RESPONDED to the rating VIA THEIR Facebook page Raise The Bar - Strength & Conditioning)Would you recommend Raise The Bar?Self:No. Absolutely not. Theyll sell you hope for a cost of $600, when their advertisement says free 6 week program, with no fine print indicating such costs anywhere.Raise the bar:Hello - we are so sorry you didnt read our entire advertisement. Quite possibly the best facility :-) 5+ stars all day long, caring trainers, awesome facility 👏🏻👏🏻
Raise The Bar is more than just a gym! Its a lifestyle change where you become part of the family! Take advantage of all there is offered and you WILL see results. I love the BootCamp where everyday is a different workout and with the instructors, its like having a personal trainer with you every step of the way. In almost two years I dont think I have done the same workout twice. I just recently finished a 6 week group nutrition program, The Shred, where with the support of an assigned nutrition partner and the RTB team I was able to lose 12 lbs. and 16 inches off my measurements. You wont regret giving this great group of people a try!
I have no doubt that this is a good place to go and that they will assist in meeting your goals HOWEVER, I was very turned off by their FALSE ADVERTISING and AGGRESIVE SALES APPROACH. I felt like I was going to buy a car. They market that they have a promotional FREE boot camp that they offer as a marketing technique however, when you go there, it isnt free at all...in fact, its $800. While, it may very well be worth $800, they should not market that its free just to get people in the door. And if you have questions, want more info or time to think on it, they tell you that you have to make a decision right then or LEAVE. (Because they only want people that are serious.) They also tell you that they dont have contracts but later ask you to sign something that...guess what...is a contract! Unbelievable! I personally wouldnt had minded the cost as it is likely justified....but the sales tactic, false advertising and straight up lies...no way, I would sign up!
RTB is thus far the best gym I have been to. The trainers, the people who come there are simply not comparable to any placw i have been before. They inspire you, never make you feel uncomfortable and always makes you feel better as an individual. I personally love this gym! More than a gym, they are like my family now.
I love the structured workouts that never get boring, nutritional guidance, variety of coaches to teach and motivate you, clear expectations, and a schedule that allows for no excuses. RtB uses the InBody Scale and app to track your weight, bf, muscle mass, and BMI. Its a freaking awesome tool that helps you direct and track your fitness and health goals. Follow the plan, commit and you will earn your success! My suggestions for improvement include using the InBody scale for all measurements at the mid-way check-in, more communication and accountability after the mid-way check-in.Overall, I am happy with my experience, my results and the new fit/fun community that Im becoming a part of. I look forward to building more strength with RtB!
Great people, great trainers, great classes, and great atmosphere! I highly recommend working out here, its more then just a gym, its a life changing experience.
Completed my 6-week challenge at RtB. It was a phenomenal experience. The staff and those who work out at RtB have been amazingly supportive. It does not matter what you look like or who you are. It doesnt matter how many tattoos you display or if you have none at all. It doesnt matter what color your skin or your hair it. It doesnt matter if your 200lbs over weight or if youre underweight. This is the definition of a judgement free zone. Yes, when you first walk in it is a little intimidating - there are people around who have muscle and are well defined :-) Yes, you feel like you have to keep up with those who have been working out for 10 years, but honestly you are encouraged to go at your pace but to push a little so that you can feel the work out. I usually arrive after a long day, so Im not in a brilliant mood - I fly in on a broom - and leave exhilarated and full of happy endorphins - I dont need my broom. My kids can hang out in the lounge and I dont have to worry about what to do with a six year old while Im working out.My challenge may be over but I am continuing with the program and am now a member of RtB...not going anywhere. Its life changing!
SUCH an amazing program!! Owners are the real deal and their team is top notch in passion and knowledge to help people achieve their goals
