I had a great experience with my counselor Aminata after 34 sessions we have made great progress will continue therapy I have no complaints she is very friendly and has been a pleasure having her as my counselor

I didnt actually meet with a therapist. I called 3 hours before my appointment to confirm the appointment time and place. I checked in with the receptionist 15 minutes early and expected a wait since I was a new patient. At 40 minutes past my appointment time I asked the receptionist if I was going to be seen by a therapist. She said that they had sent the therapist a message but that they would likely have to reschedule. I declined the reschedule Ill take my business elsewhere. Receptionists area is cluttered and messy. The waiting area is in disrepair with stained and poorly patched carpet. They had an unedited version of masterchef Canada on the TV with plenty of swear words for the family.

I love PWFC. We see Grace Holt there, and she is amazing and has helped my family through so much. So thankful for Grace!

I have dealt with a lot of issues related to mental health and I have had other therapist with different practices but there was no connection and it seemed like I was on my own. When I first came to Prince William family counselling I was hesitant and did not know what to expect. I been a patient with this practice since 2019 and it has been nothing but helpful. The front office staff is wonderful with making sure I was checked in and informing my therapist that I was there. Top notch customer service. When I met my therapist I was thinking how much longer will I be with this therapist? Because I haven’t had any luck with other therapist. When I first me Ms.Hunt she was very personable, welcoming and most of all caring. During our initial conversation she asked what I was struggling with and I explained to her. She was very punctual and organised with her work. She responded to emails quickly, she ensured that I had appointments set up for the next week, she also made sure I had a safety plan for the weekend. I am so thankful for Ms.Hunt because this is the longest I have had a therapist who truly cares about their patients and treat you with respect and dignity. Ms.Hunt is truly an amazing therapist and most of all a great human being that truly cares about what she does. She has gone above and beyond whenever I been in crisis to ensure I was safe and made sure I was in a good state of mind. Ms.Hunt is a very valuable person to this practice so thank you so much for everything you do for me and your clients. Also I would like to thank her boss Keri who has been supportive in my recovery. This is a great practice with great people who really cares about what they do. Truly amazing ❤️

My therapist has been amazing for over the last year. Considering COVID has changed some of the processes (like I dont get check in anymore, but my therapist gets me directly) I am impressed with how conscientious everyone is. I would recommend Prince William Family Counseling to anyone, honestly. The bad reviews are so old that I dont even think they apply any more because the staff has always been amazing and respectful. My first appointment was scheduled quickly and the whole process was seamless. Thanks so much for being here during my journey.

This office is the worst, the girl that answers the phone had the nerve to tell me they havent had time to call because they are short staffed due to an employee on maternity leave after being told it would only take 3 days to verify my insurance and then I actually had to call back a week later to even be told whether it was done or not. God bless the woman and baby, but I really dont care why they are short staffed. I have worked in medical for 13 yrs i would NEVER tell that to my patients. You deal with the short staff its not my problem nor is it like it was all of a sudden, shes pregnant for 9 months for Gods Sake. With this being a mental health doctor and USA having the worst care in the world for such things like this they really need to find people who have a damn clue. Not only has it been over a week to verify insurance I was then transferred to the scheduler, which she seemed hesitant to even do and then I had to leave another message. Going on 24hrs since said message was left I have yet to hear from anyone and have contacted the office twice today to speak with someone and all I get is another DAMN VOICEMAIL. I will not be using this office EVER and wouldnt speak the name from my mouth to anyone. They dont care about their patients or possible patients and it shows from their lack of concern and urgency. Run the other way this is not the type of doctors or staff you want to deal with.SN: The one star is so I could post Id rather give -5 stars

We got a call back with an appointment the day after I called. The appointment was for a week after my initial call. The therapist has been great so far.

I love my therapist alot.... Shes been on my journey with me since Jan 2013 and has seen me through lots. When i didnt go for 2 months she had me call weekly to check in on me. I havent had a bad experience here.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! My son is be discharged from Intensive In Home Therapy this coming Friday, so I needed an out patient therapist. I called them three weeks before the call yesterday to give them my sons insurance: Primary, which is a private insurance, and Secondary, which is Medicaid (has a Medicaid Waiver). They told me that they would run his insurance and then they would assign him a therapist, which they did almost a week later. A week and a half ago (from yesterday), we did an intake with the therapist and my son was supposed to start with him on this Friday. We get a call yesterday at 4:20 pm to tell us that they do not do Medicaid as a secondary insurance and they cant help us. I asked if they could separate the two insurance, so we could pay the copay on the primary insurance (we would have just done primary insurance, if they could not do the secondary insurance, if they had told me) ( and they charged me the primary insurance copay for the intake, which is not being returned Im sure), and I was told that since it was documented, they couldnt. When I spoke into the therapist, tell me that my son was being discharged tomorrow (cant do IIH and out patient the same day, which is why I gave him the Wednesday date) and he needs therapy, the response was he could check with his supervisor and we paid out of pocket. They are in network provider for my primary insurance, but they want me to pay the full amount out of pocket. With this poor action of this company, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

Do not waste your time here. Waited 30 minutes for Desiree, only to find out shes not even there. The receptionist informed me shes a contractor and not an employee. I think theres something wrong with contracting with someone so irresponsible. I found a review from a few months ago with the same experience.

I went there for a couple weeks and after about 6-7 meetings with my therapist, she never called back after being called multiple times for the next appointment. Do not recommend after being left and never contacted again.

Ive been trying to get an appointment for my 12 year old son with behavioral issues. First, they took my info and called me back a couple days later to tell me they had no spots available. Now Im on the phone trying to reach any of their therapist but Im just going to hang up. This is borderline ridiculous.

Customers service is just awful. I choose another place to go after waiting for them on many days just for an appointment.

Our counselor here is excellent.

I called to schedule an appt. They got all my information and the receptionist said someone will call me back but I mean even the receptionist didnt know the difference between Anthem and Anthem health keepers plus. Well it took them a week to tell me they dont take new patients, to be the receptionist should know that.DONT BOTHER CALLING.

Dont bother to call them or send them the new patient information they request on their home page, because they are not accepting new patients and are booked out 6 months, if they were. It will also take them 2 weeks to call you back to tell you this.

I would not suggest them. They gave me an appointment I waited in the lobby for over an hour for the primary therapist to NEVER show or call me. Someone else brought me into a room talked to me about the therapist not being able to make it. I was never really given a session and low and behold they charged my insurance
