Three stars is for the excellent technicians. However I find the price to be way too expensive. I needed to replace a thermostat. Quoted me $1400 based on a four hour rate. Talked to the manager and was reassured that the price was correct. Ended up using a different company. Took them 30 mins to finish the job and paid $200 for it.I had a service contract with them. Our boiler was making loud banging sound for a while but on two yearly maintenance services they did not spot the issue. I was told its due to the ductwork. Not true. It was the boiler. Eventually we had to replace the boiler with a different company. Took only a few minutes to test the system to spot the issue.
Today in response to a service call, NuWay gave me one of the best service experiences i have ever seen from any company I have ever worked with in my 30 years in Westchester County... truly amazing. Nice job NuWay and thank you!!

The people who work for Nuway are both professional and knowledgeable. The technician today listened to my concerns, took time to explain what he was doing, and made sure everything was working before leaving. I was so impressed!
I am not satisfied with the service received. Our old boiler stopped working, Nu-Way responded quickly, we decided to entirely change the equipment; given size of the door to my basement Nu-Way measured it to make sure there was enough space for the new equipment. I was told that if needed Nu-way would bring a person that would remove the door. The following day the equipment came, it wouldnt pass through the door.The next day, a person that removed the door and frame came, the equipment was installed correctly.Two weeks later I receive a $810 bill for door and frame work. $810 for less than a 2-hr work, and work that was not done properly as the frame has visible marks. My recommendation is that if the equipment is big for your door, try elsewhere

I called Nu-Way due to low performance of our first floor air conditioner. Appointment was courteously and promptly scheduled; more importantly, technician Tom arrived on time and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. Despite my telling him it was unnecessary, he refused to enter our house without using cloth shoe covers. Tom was extremely thorough and engaging; leaving me confident that our cooling was back to normal and that we had been charged a fair price even though we are not yet Nu-Way members. And, yes, it’s working just fine.
Nu Way is by far the best run & most professional business I have ever dealt with. The technicians are highly trained, courteous & prompt. Their trucks are indicative of how the business is run. The office staff are courteous. My a/c stopped working & I called late in the evening. They were here first thing in the morning. Fixed in 1 hour. This is how it always is every time I have called.Thank you Nu Way.
They arrived promptly on short notice and diagnosed the issue immediately. Then they went on to charge me 685 for part and labor - a part thats 130 on Amazon. I dont think 355 is the appropriate amount to charge for less than an hour of labor. Apart from that pretty ok.
My experience with this company is terrible. The actual guys who come to the house are fine but the company is way expensive - quoted me the cost of a job (which they originally had promised they would do for free) for $825. It took me about 2 minutes to find 2 Home advisor approved guys to do the same thing for under $500. In my view much better honest AC / heating guys around..
We called Nu-Way HVAC yesterday afternoon to repair our 20 year old Trane A/C system. They gave us an appointment right away and Peter G. came this afternoon - a true professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us options on how to proceed. He made the repair and also provided helpful information on our A/C system. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and demeanor - a true gentleman. I would highly recommend Nu-Way HVAC.

Buyer Beware.. You may have an issue in the middle of the night..BUT dont panic and call them for their convenient hours. They charge 3x more than local competition. Also, DO NOT ENROLL in their Membership... LOL who even wants to be in a HVAC club anyways? Well they try to smooth talk you into enrolling.. and they charge you a monthly fee each month HOPING that you forget about it like your gym membership. The owner is very calculating and knows how to play with peoples money.... and to boot the admin Alexandra Vaccaro is not afraid to doxx your info if they don’t agree with your review. Example A) see a few reviews below below mine. ! Johns nose is just like Pinocchio... its so big from all his HVAC lies!
Terrible nerver use them!!!! Charged my twice as much as ever otger company. I was new to the area and lost a zone of heating in a three zone house. Simple circulator pump replacement cost $993!!!!! Outrageous. When i called other places in the area tgey could not believe it. Stay very far away from this company

Called on Friday 6/12/15 12:00pm regarding both ac units not working Christine answered the phone. Took my info and dispatched A/C Tech within the hour to my home in Mamaroneck,NY. Tech arrived by 1:30pm and had started working on my units. Tech repaired my downstairs unit broken wires and added Freon and advised my upstairs unit was no good. Gave me a very reasonable estimate to replace it by Monday 6/15/15 COB. Thank God for Nu Way HVAC as Innovative Air gave me an appointment date of 6/22/15 just to assess!!! Cant wait to call Innovative back now and tell them thanks for Nothing. You Go NuWay thats the way you run a business!!!
Bought a new house with HVAC, called to get on client list for recurring annual maintenance etc. Told they were not accepting new business. Not a good sign for company to turn away new clients.
They said they replace AC filters but they lied! Now its going to cost me a ton of money to clean out the system. They couldnt care less either
They are running a refrigerant scam. They will keep “charging” your system and charging you when there is no need. Do not let them do it unless you see the readings!
Poor communication from their technician (office staff was fine), and the repair cost estimate I was given was more than *double* what I got from another company. I ended up going with the other company of course.
They are thieves.
