The most beautiful natural landscape, scenery and taking in fresh air on horseback, seriously can’t be beat. The staff are wonderful too, they made sure we were safe and had a wonderful riding experience. The horses were calm and lovely. I love horses and go riding everywhere I go, locally and whenever I travel for vacation. This is one of my favorite places around the LA area and one of my top 10 overall in all of my travels within the country and abroad. I highly recommend it.

Riding through the hills of Malibu on a horse...as we say in New Jersey thats a nice!We human beings have not destroyed the entire environment yet. There are still beautiful mountain ranges right here in the Los Angeles area, and you can have an idyllic Saturday afternoon and enjoy the serenity. Then go back to work on Monday and smile at everyone.Hawaii is also good for putting you in a mellow mood, but you have to get on a plane for that.Based on the last time I was there, the Connemara Ranch had mellow horses and a nice staff. I think this blond babe, Talley, still runs the place. Shes funny.Its also a fun place for someone to hang out while their friend takes a ride. Lots of animals on the grounds. They have a sleepover camp there during the summer. Nice operation.Have fun.

You can always count on Talley to provide a hospitable, informational, safe and truly enjoyable experience at Connemara Ranch. It had been years since Id ridden with her and I was not disappointed. It was a beautiful ride through the hills on good horses and with great company. Highly recommend and will be back on my next trip to LA.

Riding at Connemara Ranch is probably the best trail riding in all of Los Angeles and the surrounding area. The trails are wide, fun and have great views of the ocean. The horses are well cared for and happy and therefore easy to handle. The women who lead the trail rides are also experts and make the experience very enjoyable. I highly recommend this if you love horses and want to take a trail ride or lesson. It is also an equine therapy ranch and Ive experienced that work as well and its life-changing.

Could not be happier with my experience! I received the vouchers from my roommate as a gift and finally got to redeem them last month. The horses were very well behaved and I really enjoyed our trail guides. If I did not live so far away I would definitely come back more throughout the year :).

Although it has been over a year, I still have good memories about my ride at Connemara Ranch. Beautiful vistas, well taken care of horses and handlers that know what theyre doing. A great outing!

Learned to ride western horseback at age 61!! Talley takes care of her students as well as her horses. Mallory Lewis taught us a tremendous amount. Safety was number one

Connemara Ranch is a fabulous opportunity to experience the Malibu Mountains on horseback. When Glampers and private wellness retreat clients come to stay at my Sky Vista Topanga Retreat property I always refer them to Tally at Connemara Ranch to expand their experience of communing with Nature.
