Pelicar is hands down the best place in all of Massachusetts to get any window tinting or cosmetic car work. I used to live near Framingham and would make the 1+ hour drive to come here. Worth the time, gas, and journey for their work. Quality, quick, and the customer service experience is second to none. I got exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price. They only use 3M products & it comes with a lifetime warranty thats actually worth something! A guarantee is only as good as the company who offers it & theyve been in business long enough to know that theyre not going anywhere. Very professional, appointment ran on time oh, cute waiting room area or walk around and see the cute shops in Malden.

Pelicar does the best job. This is the second time I’ve used them. The first was in 2017 and tint was like brand new when I sold the car this year. Took about an hour to do my wagon and the fog lights.

I just had my car tinted here last Wednesday and it came out superb. However I originally asked for a 5% on my windows but got 20 instead. I contacted them the next day and on Friday early morning they fix the issue with no problem and no cost. That is what I call customer service I have tinted three cars prior and will continue to do so with new ones that I get keep up the good work.

This is by far the best window tinting place Ive ever been to! Ive tinted many vehicle windows in my lifetime but this place is the Head and Shoulders Above Any of the Rest! Super clean, super organized, impressive customer service, prompt.. I was impressed from the minute I got there.. and I expected a huge price jump to make up for the convenience... nope! Extremely affordable and Extremely professional. I wont go anywhere else ever again and I would recommend them to everyone! I ended up tinting my taillights and I added adhesive to my back bumper to cover some of the scuffs! Way less than a paint job and you couldnt tell the difference... I received a recommendation from a friend to go to Pelicar Professional Windows tint in Malden. The same day I went to the place. At the office the lady who attended me was very kind and professional with her information. She gave me several recommendations that I had to think a bit. My budget was a little lower than the price they charge. After thinking about it, I remembered that I was backed by the 3M brand so I decided to pay for tint ceramic IR. The best decision I made was to invest in it. At night it gives me more security and during the day it helps so that the interior feels cold despite the heat of the sun. The invoice and guarantee came to my email. Super recommended this place and all service staff was very friendly! I chose this place cause theyre the only company around that offered 3M tint and they were the only company out of the handful I called that didnt leave me with the impression I was interrupting their nap. The lady who answered the phone Pricilla was amazing. So polite and professional so I booked an appointment to come in and look at my options. They werent the cheapest i found but Im a firm believer in, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!... For a few dollars more I got top of the line 3m tint, LIFETIME WARRANTY and THE BEST SERVICE MONEY COULD BUY. Tony the owner and the rest of the crew were outstanding. Wait time was barely an hour and the tint was flawless... I ran into a few minor problems but they bent over backwards to make it right IMMEDIATELY!! Im so glad I chose these guys. So much so i referred my friend and my daughters boyfriend. Both went down and got theirs done there as well & both called to thank me... Want quality tint and the best service? Save yourself some time and just call these guys... Literally the worst service I’ve ever had from a tint shop, I’ve had my previous cars tinted at other places but here I go trying something new and what do I get? A slap to the face from such rude ppl that can’t do some simple window tinting.

Very good quality of application. Overall it was a nice experience. The only thing that was confusing was trying to figure out what tint to go with and I wish the prices were more transparent when going through the process of choosing.

Does an okay job.Unfortunately they unbuckled my 2.5 year old car seat and never buckled it back in. I found this out after a 2 hour drive during a rainstorm.Needless to say because of a such high volume place details are forgotten.Also gave me some one else’s car keys back and gave me a call 15 minutes away had to drive back and found mine on the outside of my hood easily could have flown off while driving.Not going back

I visited this shop a couple of months ago. Very polite and professional from the tech to the receptionist. I got an appointment the same day. I wanted to tint the front driver and passenger windows of my Grand Cherokee. I went with the ceramic. The price, length of time it took to do the job (1hr), and precision of the work was well worth it..$180.Why 3 stars then? Because after i had them tinted I realized later that the tone of the tint they used was bluish-green..whereas the tone of the factory tint on the remainder of my windows is a brownish-tan. Looks after-market and am disappointed.I am also bummed that I did not go with a darker tint to match the rear windows..from some angles the front windows dont really appear tinted. I would like to add that I did not give stars off for this..only for the difference in color tone. A major bummer.

Read great reviews and everything positive I read was beyond correct! I contacted directly through google with an instant chat and recieved a phone call and text message answering my quote request and availability as soon as they opened. Priscilla is knowledgeable and got me an appointment that day. When I arrived the crew was immediately working in my car and Priscilla helped answer my questions and gave me tint options along with complimentary tea, coffee water or candy....shes a doll! I sat with her in the small air conditioned office and watched my car through the window and on the tv. Too cool! I was done and out out there in under an hour and the price was the best around! I highly recommend!

I originally had tints done somewhere else and was very disappointed with the other shop’s work. That other shop had a lifetime warranty on their tints but after going back on 4 separate occasions to get my tints fixed, I had enough and decided to take my business elsewhere. I found Pelicar through google and contacted Priscilla who is absolutely amazing. Not only was she friendly but she is also extremely communicative and went through all the tint options thoroughly. I contacted her and got an appointment the same day. These guys had my car in and out In less than two hours which included having my old tints removed and new ones installed. They have about 4-5 guys working on your car at once, that is what I call efficient. I will be the first to say that they are not cheap but you really get what you paid for in terms of quality and workmanship. I decided to get cheap tints for a third of what I paid at another shop and ended up having these guys removed it at the end.It has only been a day and I have basically inspected every window thoroughly and I can honestly say I am very happy with their work. There are some visible spots and bubbles that I will keep an eye on but I am well aware I need to let the film cure for at least 5 days. Overall I am very satisfied.

You tell them a specific tint percentage and they do the complete opposite.

I reached out to multiple places to install window tint. Pelicar replied back in minutes and gave me a estimate of my vehicle for the information I provided for them. They worked around my schedule and allowed me to come in the next day.I arrived and was kindly greeted. The staff were all polite and respectful towards me and my vehicle. I was out in just over an hour. I couldn’t believe it!!Another place stayed they would need my vehicle for the whole day and wanted $150 more.I will be recommending this place to my friends and co-workers.Thanks guys

This is a tough one to write because my experience has been nothing but pleasant while I visited here. The operating staff here are extremely friendly and provide quality work.I’ll start with saying that I know sometimes people slip through the cracks In high volume businesses and if you read between the lines on most of these reviews, You can see that’s exactly what has happened. My experiences with Pelicar are bit different. Not because of the quality of work. ( my Jeep speaks for itself) Unfortunately, because the owner who seems to be involved in some transactions had a bit of greed that shines through. It seems to be more important than keeping new customers.I found out today that Pelicar does not appreciate customer loyalty. I’ve visited these guys 3 times.August 2020First time, was Awsome, I had some ideas on what I wanted to do to my 2020 Rubicon, I was greeted and handle with professionalism from the floor manager. He took my Jeep in and did some great work! Definitely earned my business. And I’ll say for scope of work I was charged accordingly.Fall 2020Second time, the initial time in was great. Brought my friend in with his Lincoln MKZ, we had chat with the floor manager and they set up an appointment to have his car done. It’s the aftermath that shows my complaint. After my friend had his fronts tinted, based what he was told at the time of installation. He chose a high end tint (Chrystal line) it came out great. What he wasn’t told is that in certain temperatures and due to it polarizing, it would change colors. Well anyone that knows this effect matched up with black tint from the factory, it looks terrible in those weather conditions. We returned 2 days later and he expressed his concerns and the floor manager was welcoming to taking the tint off and changing it to a standard 3m. ( no charge because of the price for the Chrystal line to begin with) It was the owner who chose to not allow it to happen. He wanted an extra $100 for the work. Kind of scummy considering the up sale initially. Held over a barrel my friend ended up paying the money to have his car look normal.April 2021Third time, today was the day to have a visit with our 2021 Durango R/T. I roll in at noon to chat with the floor manager about the ideas I have for the family car. We talk about the ideas and we are a go. He tells me let me grab some pricing. He comes back and tells me they are going good will a discount based on my friends mis hap and over paying. So? I reap the benefit of the owners greed in good faith? My friend deserved that! The pricing to start prior to said discount was double the price I had paid for my Jeep. So... I negotiate, and remind him of what I paid the first time around. Ok, I understand cost of goods, time, and the industry change in a short 8 months. I suggest a price that’s fair for the work that is almost 20% more than what I paid for the Rubicon. Mind you the scope of work is the same. A bit more in material (spray paint) and time (slightly different masking job). Owner says No! Worst part about this, as I left the business the owner made eye contact over our masks and let me leave. A real kick in the butt!Thanks Mr Owner for loosing my business. 1 in, 1 out! I understand. It’s really too bad. I’m not a 1 and done type of guy, nor are my friends and family.

A clear example of an organization focused on quantity over quality, and one to avoid for any automotive work. I went to Pelicar to have 3M Crystalline installed on my front windshield and front side windows, and even after weeks of curing, there were clear scratches, dust, and hazing on the film. Pelicar also left the interior of my car muddy, and even scratched the gloss black interior trim.After expressing these concerns, Pelicar agreed to reinstall the film, which resulted in the same scratched, bubbled, and dusty film. Ultimately, I had the film installed at another 3M certified installer, which came out nearly perfect the first time.Pelicar will only refund the arbitrarily-priced material cost, so in the end, Pelicar only proved themselves as a waste of time and resources.To address Pelicars response: Pelicar did try and reinstall the film, but again, there were bubbles, dust, and scratches the second time around. I do not believe Pelicar could deliver a quality install after two chances.

They took me in same day, I called at 9am and they set me up for 12pm, Drove from Prov County Area RI to Malden MA, they do amazing work, they have 4 styles of tint, I did 20% all around besides Front Windshield. They will answer any questions you have to ask, they worked on my car way sooner than expected. Wanted to keep the black interior on my Mustang GT cooler with window tinting. The shop was tidy for a busy work area, always a good sign. No idle chatter. Everyone working hard. My car was finished in less time than anticipated and with no flaws, no mess, no sign the work was done other than the tinted windows. The staff knows what it is doing, uses the best 3M materials, and charges a fair price for their services. Would definitely come here again or recommend it to a friend.

Would give this place zero stars if I could...Originally went several months ago and I had to go back 3+ times to have my tint redone due to bubbling and it still isnt right. Now that its winter, I now notice half of my rear defrosters dont work because they scratched the grid taking off and reapplying the tint so many times. Not to mention that when I asked for a refund they would only reimburse cost of materials. Stay away from Pelicar.
