Had situation where inspector wants reassurances from a certified structural engineer during a framing inspection. I called Criterium. Talked to Paul Friday at noon during my first call attempt. Scheduled site visit for Monday morning. Engineer report with a visual sketch arrived by end of day Tuesday. Cant ask for much more in terms of professional response time on time-sensitive projects. Report was thorough. As a Residential Construction Project Manager and Consultant, Paul, Steve and Criterium is my go-to and has been for years. I have no reason to go elsewhere. As a first time home buyer, I was very overwhelmed when my home inspection pointed out concerns with the foundation. I contacted Criterium, and they were able to have an engineer out the following day. Kenton was very thorough, kind, helpful, and relieved a lot of my stress with pursuing the purchase of the home. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Criterium-Schimnowski Engineers. Especially when considering that I requested their help with no lead time and asked for a formal report in less than 24hrs to help me purchase a home with a serious structural issue. Even though I was demanding and probably not very polite becuae of the stressful sistuation; they were exceptionally patient and attentive with me to ensure I fully understood the structural issues I was dealing with. Basically, I was in over my head and they saved my butt.They did all of this for a competitive price.

Initially things went well. We had some communication issues. Probably a fault on both sides. Rates were reasonable.
