The employees all seem very nice but I had to talk to the supervisor today and she was nothing but rude. Gave me complete attitude when my mail has not been delivered to me in weeks. We just moved into our new home and I just wanted to understand why we weren’t getting mail and the only thing she explained was that it was my fault because we have not been checking the mail box. When we’ve only been here 3 weeks and I’ve not received any mail! She did nothing but give me attitude and I still don’t know how to get my mail!

I love this post office. Its easy to park, and Ive had good service whenever Ive gone. It gets busy at times, but some of that is traffic driven away from the MUCH worse West Valley City office, me included. I think the negative reviews here come from misconceptions. These workers are facing big workload increases with declining staff levels. None of the postal branches have dedicated phone staff. They all get busy at rush hour. Carriers are not obligated to get out of their trucks and walk around your illegally parked neighbors! USPS is what it is, but in my experience the staff at Magna do an above-average job.

The workers are awesome but the lines are outrageous depending on the time of day. Expect waiting longer than 30 minutes to mail something if you come during rush hour. You’re better off just making your own labels at home through other services. It’ll most likely save you on shipping too. Magna definitely needs a bigger post office!

Awful customer service! They made me wait over 20 minutes to drop off a package.. they had to get all the people behind me first because I wasn’t a paid customer. So what’s the point of paying on their website if they are going to treat you this way? Instead of saving time I wasted more time

They are all so Rude including the carriers they talk to you with some attitude if you hate your job so bad Id suggest applying else where this is what your paid to do. They all show how un happy they are to be there I work with customers too and never do I give them This type of behavior ESPECIALLY when they aren’t being rude to me and just have simple questions. I never leave reviews when I do it’s because I LOVED The service this is the very first time I have to come and leave this kind of review. I hope I never have to get in personal contact with them again (I know they don’t want to either but in general the vibe and mood says it all)

Worst experience, waited on hold for 45 mins only to be hung up on, I hate this. There used to be someone to answer the phone locally not wait on hold to talk to a call center that doesnt know how to help me. Worst experience. I blame trump and his stupid cut backs on the post office

Their mail carriers speed from one mailbox to another. They are all careless drivers. And its ridiculous that you cant talk to anybody unless you wait for an hour.

I love the small town feel of this post office. The cashiers are always helpful. I really appreciate the newest one, Kim. Shes been very helpful when Im not sure what Im doing and has made sure Im sending packages the right way. I didnt want my package to be left on the porch of the addressee. She suggested signature confirmation that way they had to be home and sign or pick up at the post office. GREAT SERVICE!

Horrible post office. If your neighbor parks to close to your mailbox they won’t deliver your mail and tell you that you need to tell them to move or call the police instead of walking 3 feet to my mailbox to just deliver my mail or putting notices in there mailbox.

This location is great for two reasons. 1) Its not very busy when I go. I have never had to wait in line. 2) The people are really friendly and helpful.

They accepted a shipment as it was took the money to ship it now its been intercepted and held in some location that they are unwilling to help with. then they say when it finally gets back they will not refund or resend on the fees paid already.

My carrier is lazy refuses to get out of his veical and delivers mail wrong

Amazon tells me my deliveries are coming from usps and usps tells me its coming from Amazon drivers. Either way, it seems no one can follow a simple delivery instruction. LEAVE ON BACK PORCH(Because of theives) is pretty self explanatory. When the package is actually left on back porch they take a photo I can see in the app. When its left on my front porch there is no photo and they lie stating they left it with a resident or in a secure location. I have had multiple items stolen because of which. Makes me no longer want to order anything online. Complete garbage

This office is the worst Ive ever dealt with. I moved right in the middle of my passport renewal, still in Magna, but was assured my change of address would get it forwarded to me. The old one made it to my house, but when I tracked the new one, I found it had been delivered to my old house, and the new owners hadnt returned it! I went to the post office and their manager was so rude and nonchalant, saying if I had come sooner they could go to the house to try to get it back, but because it was over a week, I just had to apply for a new one! She shrugged it off When i told her the application cost $120. When I questioned why it had gone to the wrong house despite my address change (Id literally been moved just barely over a month), she said that there was probably a substitute on the route that day and that my address change hadnt been passed along, and when I questioned why something that important was neglected, she told me mistakes happen. She completely brushed off my concern that someone now had my passport, saying it wouldnt matter since it wasnt a picture of them on it. I just couldnt believe the complete disregard for not only my time and money, but my security as well!

Twice in the past week my carrier has delivered my packages to the wrong address, and updated the tracking information to show I received it. The first time the carrier was able to find the package in the wrong mailbox. The second time the carrier was unable to find it and, after calling for a week, I asked what I needed to do to be reimbursed. I was told it was the responsibility of the SHIPPER (a person on ebay) to insure the package and, if it wasnt insured, I was out the money I paid for the contents. Really? Note to everyone - want a high paying job you dont have to do? Work for the United States Post Office in Magna.

The people running this location are all wonderful and kind but especially kim. She has gone out of her way to help me with the shipping needs of my small diy business more times than i could count. If you frequent this location you know what i am talking about. Kim and everyone else at this place are all stars. Thank you for all of your help guys it is very appreciated

I just made a phone call the postal office in maybe. Im not sure if this lady was having a bad day or just is not a nice people person. She really should not be answering the phones. I have not been receiving my mail just junk mail I have very important documents and financial items with has left me desolate Ive contacted the companys and they have verified it was mailed to this address but here is the problem there is at least 6 total people here in maybe with the same name other than he Sr and the 3rd but not all mail says Sr Jr or the 3rd now I called simply to ask if there had been a mistake and if there had been a change of address and if my address got involved due to my son has moved to his own place a simple yes or no you would think would be easy and would not in any way jeopardise anyones mail or be breaking any laws right well she tells me by law she cannot tell me this. I asked why its a simple yes or no Im not asking for where its gone or anything like that I cannot reach my son and its bitterly left me with out money to live on now going on a month. Then at the last min she said I could come down and show Id I asked her what for if you cannot devolve this information she said well if you put a change of address in I asked her well that dont make any sense man Id know if I did that and Im disabled and terminal no way there if I was to get a ride and catch that corona its 100 % death sentence. I asked her for her name she refused rose her voice and repeated 3 times have a good day then hung up this was exsacly at 5:03 any suggestions?? Am I out of line for simply asking if there had been a change of address?? Its not devolving anyones new address witch there would be no problem I know where my son lives but a simple yes or no...... confused and lost

All the carriers work very hard!! Cory is my carrier and he is so awesome!! Ive never had an issue with this post office. The office lines arent very long and the post office staff is super nice and helpful.

I never get my packages delivered. My wife is always home and able to receive the packages, but they never deliver them. They always just have us go and pick them up at the post office. If I wanted to go pick something up I would shop locally. I shop online for a reason.

Every time I’ve visited this location, the employees have been wonderful. They’re professional and courteous, and they make sure my packages are marked according to their contents. They always ask my shipping priority preference and give me a tracking number. Thanks, Magna!

I have so many problems with this office it is beyond me why they are even still open! First they deliver the mail to whatever address they see fit, not what address is on the letter/package. Then when a package is delivered to them by mistake they refuse to go though the dock to find it, even though it is time sensitive material. I understand it is December and shipping/mailing has gone up 10 folds, but there are still some things that do not involved the holidays that need to be sent to people. If I could give the United States Postal Service no stars I would! They are the worse next to UPS!

Kim was completely rude. They should hire someone thats more social and friendly to work the front desk. All I had to do was drop off a package I didnt have anything to argue about.

Best location Ive been to. Closer to my house than the post office id go to for my own mail, but never too busy to mail something from. Fast service unlike other locations as well. You never get stuck waiting in line for what feels like, ever. I do wish they had a little longer hours. It seems on the weekend that another location is open later - only thing i would change.

I went it because i recieved a notice for that there was a letter about my grandmothers house. She just passed away and i have been living with her for 4 years now, im handling her estate. The notice i received said an adult 21 or older with a valid drivers license needs to pick up the letter. I went in and presented my id and got asked who the person on the letter was, who i am to her, where she is now, where i live. I have been picking up my grandmas mail for years now and have never been interrogated like this. I am going through a hard time as it is loosing my grandma. I was living for her the past few years and to have to explain everything to a post office worker is not ok. The notice said nothing about this kind of questioning nor have i ever had this happen in the past. Please tell your employees to stick to their job and stay out of others business employee was an older small framed women, deep voice and aged face long gray and black hair

This post office is rediculous they lose your mail. and they give it to the wrong person it’s not supposed to go to & there services suck cause they are lazy and don’t know how to read the address on who it’s supposed to go to.

I am so disgusted at the service here. I have called numerous times to try and find out where my mail is. Every single day I see people from all over the neighborhood delivering each others mail because it is hardly ever taken to the right place. I have gotten the wrong mail so many times. Unfortunately, whoever gets my mail is probably throwing it away. I went to the pharmacy and got turned away because my insurance card was no good. I had no idea they had mailed me new ones weeks before that I never received. My new debit card never showed up, and now I have to close and reopen my whole account. I also ordered some things that never showed up. Without a tracking number, they couldnt care less. Once I was expecting something extremely important, so I requested to have my mail held, and a few days in I had a mailbox full of mail that was supposed to be being held. I am sick to my stomach every time I hear something has to come through usps. I have told the supervisor but he says without proof he just assumes I have the mail and pretty much have nothing better to do than make up stories about lost mail. Not to mention my daughter missed school registration because we never got the papers and my insurance company called me last week to say the mail they were sending was being sent back.

The ups postal service are lazy and dont want to work and are racist against people who are not white and dont want to do their job and make all kinds of excuses so that u rent out a post office box so they dont have to deliver the mail to your house. also the post office lady that delivered our mail yelled my wife and told her to go back to mexico but my wife is Navajo so Utah is her home and i am white and i was born here, i hope that manga city will look into the bigotry and racism that goes on at the manga post office, but i guess that racism and bigotry is the established order at the manga post office, al;so the head post master is a racist and a lazy bum who does not care to do his job. This is how the lady does always for years.

I constantly get other mail addressed to people in my neighborhood. Several times I have hand delivered mail back to the PO that is not mine and told them what is happening. I recently had to have my bank cards reissued because I never received the new ones and they consider them stolen. I have received very personal mail that is not mine so I am sure my mail is going to someone else. Get off your phone and read the address in your hand.

Constantly delivering packages to wrong address

Ive had packages delivered to the wrong house more than once. I live in a neighborhood with a shared mailbox and instead of taking packages to my door the mail carrier stuffs them into the little box. Ive had books ruined because the mail carrier didnt take it to my door (we have no big box for packages on our group of mailboxes).

My mailbox is never blocked as I leave about 9 feet on both sides. Further, when the package is too large for a mailbox anyways, I dont see how a blocked mailbox would have even mattered. Horrible service.

These guys will come up if you do a search for Fax - Magna, UT. However, they do not have a fax machine avail. to the public. Otherwise good service. Short wait times, usually.
