Great place to workout and have fun. Mike is really knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions I have. Being new to Crossfit, he made me feel really comfortable coming into the gym!

Doesnt wear masks. Everytime I have looked in there... everyone is close to eachother and without masks. Obviously doesnt care about healthcare workers or healthcare despite being a gym lol. This is when the owner is in there or not.

Great State Crossfit is a phenomenal gym right around the corner from the Alliant Energy Center where the Crossfit Games are held.Ive had the opportunity to drop-in a few different times when in town and always enjoy my experience. The coaching staff is top-notch, the space is clean and well laid out. Id highly recommend Great State Crossfit to anyone.

Been doing crossfit for a while but having moved for a 3rd time, I needed a new gym nearby. The gym is a bit small but the owner, Mike, runs a great program. Immediately felt welcomed and a good mix of new and experienced members.Mike cares about his business and it definitely shows. There are other bigger gyms out there with a lot of different coaches, but since Mike teaches the majority of the classes, youre almost guaranteed a quality program. As I always like to say, quality over quantity!

Have really enjoyed working out at Great State CrossFit! The rotation of workouts are great and are written to be able to accommodate all fitness levels. This is my first experience with CrossFit and Ive really enjoyed my experience so far.

New to Crossfit and frankly a bit intimidated by it for years. I took the plunge with Mike Burtons Crossfit 101 class. I couldnt be happier with the comfortable atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the willingness to be patient with me. Mike is a great coach and I feel like Im ready to be a regular.

I dropped in for a great morning workout, and will stop by again next time Im in town. Thanks, Great State!

Really great training, been a member for about 6 months, Im a lot healthier overall since starting. Mike meets you where youre at and gets you on a great part to fitness.
