I don’t want to talk about how awesome this gym is. Stay at your current gym lol.All seriousness, this is an amazing gym. Has everything you need. Plus it’s 24/7.

Great place to get into shape. Very supportive and the Spin and Body Pump classes are awsome.

CrossFit Kids is great. I havent experienced much more about the gym.

Charged me $4000 dollars for a membership that i never used. 3 years ago i had 2 surgeries on my knee, and was not able to workout so i tried to cancel my membership. Well last week 3 years later $3703 came out of my account. When i first spoke to them about it, they acted oblivious to what had happened saying its never happened before . Well to make a long long story short due to a technicallity and lack of paperwork they told me unless cancelled account are left open and are allowed to acrue these massive massive balances and no matter the reason or lack there of use of membership they will charge you and say the balance is owed and your just out of luck. Just not a way to do business, but i can say its not over just yet. Please consider they do not care and will do anything and take advantage of any situation to make a dollar.

Very nice facility

Great place to workout at. A variety of free weights, machines and and all in between. Also has bikes, treadmills and elliptical. Separate areas for yoga and a variety of other activities. Definitely a place to select if looking to exercise

Great place. My sons Mtn Bike team is doing winter training there. Pkan to join there myself.

Beware. Does not keep promises. Would not honor free class hours after making the decision to discontinue the class and not making this decision known to the public. Then the man at the counter told me to have a blessed day.

Empire has a ton of services at a really great price. And even now, during the pandemic, they are open. Its clean, the staff is constantly cleaning, and they have supplies for you to clean as you go through your workout. Nice people, good price, all the equipment and free weights you need.

Planned my entire evening around driving 30 minutes to come here to do a dance fitness class. The first visit is advertised as being free on Rockit Huntsville (the dance fitness group that has classes at Empire) Facebook page as of Sept 28. When I arrived, I was told that TODAY at NOON (6 hours ago) the decision to take away the free first class was made and due to Covid 19 that I would have to buy a membership if I wanted to take a class. They wouldnt honor the advertised free class. I wouldnt join a gym Ive never been to and I dont know anyone else who would, either.

Great facility. Not many options in Madison. Whatever your goal is, you can get it done at this club. Friendly staff and members.

Love the gym and love my trainer, Steve Dashoff. Im seeing great results. The front stuff always greets me by name, and the owner is awesome too.

I only go for the body pump class because I dont have enough time and like them. This is my third year. Impressed with Jeremy at the front desk. Polite and helpful. Sarah is very personable. In the past, their billing software was a little erroneous, but I think that has been fixed.

Loving this new gym. The layout is great, the available equipment is solid, the staff is fantastic. Get with Perry Ellis for personal training! This guy is knowledgeable and great and great at his craft. Ive dropped 40 pounds with him!

I have been going to this gym for 8 years and love it. The people are great, it’s always clean, the equipment is great and kept up.

Empire fitness charged me after I had canceled and would not refund my money. They also didn’t bill on the day of the month they said they would. They where so rude to me when I went there trying to get my money back. Eventually the bank declared all of there charges fraudulent and I got my money back through the bank. I had left a multi paragraph review on their Facebook page, but apparently they are getting such bad reviews they took their entire review page off Facebook. Don’t waste your time ore your money!

I love this gym so much. Best gym in the area, hands down. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. They have so many options of fun and challenging classes and membership is affordable.

Very unwilling to work with you. Cancellation policy is not clear, nor do they explain it to you. One of those places where you need to read the fine print. Very disappointed with the customer service.

I love this gym! They have everything you need and more. I tried several gyms in the area, but nothing compares to Empire. Its not too expensive, as a couple others have mentioned. You get what you pay for.

Stay away from this poorly ran gym. They will not refund your money when they fraudulently charge you. This gym has terrible customer service skills. They will charge you multiple times a month for the same membership. Scam artists

This gym is great if you want CrossFit or power lifting. But thats all, there is not very much equipment and a lot of waisted space. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. But 2 stars because of the lack of equipment. If you want CrossFit and power lifting then it would be a great 5 star place.

Their cancellation policy is horrible. Basically there is no cancellation policy on a fully paid membership, they just let it expire. From Sarahs email Our cancellation policy on paid in full membership plans is they simply expire at the end. We do allow membership freeze for military orders or medical. Well the military membership freeze is great but I want to cancel the remaining time on the contract completely. Its nothing to do with the gym, I just wont be going back there again. Worst cancellation policy for a business I have seen, so if you ever want out of a contract with Empire Fitness please do not EVER pay for a full year membership or she just keeps your money.

Not impressed with cancelation policy at all. They’ve received money for YEARS monthly from me yet when it comes time to cancel - they continue to charge for another 30 days plus an additional $50. So out $90 for a place I won’t attend.

Do not join this gym!!!! We moved from the area in March-17 and canceled our membership in writing. The lady that owns this place has continued to charge us $29.99 every month since and we continue to dispute it with our credit card (Still going on Oct-17). Beware....if she is that desperate for money that she continues to bill folks after they cancel, this place must be in major financial trouble!!! Go to Planet Fitness up the street. We also had a membership with them and canceled it on same day with no issues at all!!!

It was very easy to start my membership but a lengthy process to end it. I submited a wriiten cancellation notice on 10/25, providing a 30-day notice. I expected to pay the premium in November, but when they took the payment in December, I called to request a refund. On more than 3 occasions, I was told my refund was being processed. As of February, I have not received the refund nor a return call. I cancelled due to the limited equipment, lack of lockers, and the extremely limited aerobics class variety and schedule. This is definitely a no frills gym.

Crooks. They keep on charging me ridiculous fees even after I canceled my membership. Give me my money back! This is ridiculous! The cancelation is in writing. They also made it very hard to cancel.

The are 24/7. Have a talented chiropractor and cryotherapy along with gym and classes along with child care services.

Don’t go to this gym. They will hit you with cancellation fees every chance every few they can. Nobody is cleaning the equipment after using it. Doesn’t even have that much equipment to begin with. Word around town is they won’t be open for long.

These guys will not let you cancel your membership without a lot of arm twisting. I literally had to use my credit card dispute center to resolve the issue.
