Ernesto did an amazing job on my 20 year old truck! I made an appointment for the oil undercoating service due to the extensive rust, to slow the deterioration. Also decided on a full exterior detail and help with paint touch up. He not only got everything done in about a day, but made it look nearly new! We are absolutely thrilled and will be having our other vehicle serviced. He was up front on cost and about what could be done based on the age of the vehicle. Ernesto is a true professional and made the process seamless!

Where to begin....Ernesto was helpful, gracious and even provided me with a loaner so I could go to a meeting as I was coming from out of town. Three hours later and my car looked fabulous. The staff is super friendly and polite. I had a standard detailing done on my car and was super impressed. The inside looks brand new and smells great too. It took about 4 hrs but was so worth it. They deserve the business.

I was very happy with the service I received! I called the location on Thursday and made an appointment for Tuesday. When I showed up on Tuesday, Ernesto (the owner) remembered exactly what we had discussed on the phone and even remembered that I wanted to pick the vehicle up on Thursday and look at the material that was sprayed on. When I showed up on Thursday the truck was on the lift and he was more than happy to show me what had been applied underneath. The NH Wax-n-oil undercoating was evenly applied and even sprayed liberally inside the panels. I have black rims on my truck and opted in for the $20/ rim ceramic coating. This was clear and only a keen eye could spot that anything was applied to the rims. In comparison to other places I searched for, the price was spectacular. I will be going back for the ceramic paint protection plan later in the summer before winter. I highly recommend Madison Auto Protection for Rustproofing!

I highly recommend Madison Auto and the NH oil undercoat treatment. 100X better product than Ziebart. Vehicles rust from the inside out! This treatment prevents that. Ernesto is very professional and awesome to deal with. Hes done all 3 of my vehicles in the past 2 years.

Great service, very professional, on time, even washed and detailed the wheels after they finished the rust proofing. Ernesto was very good answering all our questions and giving very good advice.

The guys at Madison Auto Protection were friendly and helpful. They explained what they were doing and even showed me the underside of my car once they’d cleaned it up a bit. The waiting area isn’t super comfy but that’s no big deal. They do offer free coffee and snacks so that’s a bonus.

I was looking around for rustproofing and wax/polish for my vehicle to help protect it in the winter months. I was able to easily set up an appointment to get everything done. Ernesto was very professional and knowledgeable about all of the products and services.My car looks absolutely beautiful! Pictures do not do it justice! So far so good! Just had the gold exterior package and wax and oil underbody products applied to my 2021 Yukon Denali. Im still within the 2-3 weeks curing period for the ceramic coating, but so far it seems to have really sealed the paint well. The work performed was very high quality, as I cannot see any areas where the product was applied, meaning it was applied correctly and perfectly. Ernesto answered all of my questions promptly before we set up a date to have the products applied. He seems to really care about his business. Hes enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and maintains a very clean shop. He also mentioned he will soon be fully certified to do paint protection film (PPF), which leads me to believe hes constantly improving his work. Pricing is fantastic, especially when compared to quotes provided to me in the Chicago area where I purchased the car. Youd be hard pressed to find a better shop and price.

I wanted to get nanoceramic coating on my 2021 vehicle for some additional paint protection since I put a lot of miles on and keep my car for a long time. Searched around the Madison area and happen to come across MAPR who had better pricing than the other two places I was looking at. Better yet, Ernesto had a loaner car for me to use since I commute to Madison for work. That helped with not having to figure out getting a rental car.When I emailed initially to ask questions I got a response and call within the hour. Scheduling the appointment was pretty fast as well, wish I had found MAPR sooner since I already have some chips in paint and stone chip in headlight already from commuting.Got the silver package and rim protection which took three days, dropped off Monday picked up Wednesday afternoon. I am super impressed with the finished product, my car looks GREAT, nice and shiny like it would look on showroom floor at dealer :)Ernesto made the process easy peasy. Waiting for him to get certified with the plastic paint protection for the hood to prevent additional paint chip.I highly recommend if you need auto detailing done, at a good price and good quality. I inherited a car from my uncle and it was in bad shape--there was sawdust, blue paint, and all sorts of other stains in there, plus the car stunk--but now it looks amazing. Everything is sparkly and polished, its perfectly clean. And it smells great! I wish Id taken before and after photos so I could show off how great a job they did, will definitely come back here next time I need detailing done!

From start to finish I was pleased with the service, him and his team are super friendly reliable and helpful. I got a ceramic pro treatment done on the paint and a weather proofing treatment under the car. I was given a loaner car which I didn’t expect for the two days while my car was having that work done, I was also able to drop my car off pretty late as I work a crazy schedule. Highly recommend I am going back for brake repairs in the next week as they would have also done this at the same time but unfortunately the parts werent readily available .

First of all, the moment I inquired about rustproofing service, Ernesto texted me right away (as I asked for on the inquiry form) and asked me to send me pictures of my car underneath. Within 20 minutes of me inquiring online, I sent pictures, got a quote, and scheduled a time. I was blown away.When I arrived, Ernesto and his team were superfriendly, helpful, and professional. No gimmicks, just honest, hard-working people. I knew my car would be in good hands.I brought my car in for rustproofing service, which at first I was hesitant to do, but once Ernesto explained how the 2 stage process works and why it’s unique to his shop, I was sold. Once my car was done, I was shocked. It looked newer than most new cars, and my car is 21 years old.During the repair, Ernesto informed me that 2 of my wheel studs in the back broke due to over tightening from someone’s previous work. He told me to bring in the studs and lug nuts and he can help me replace it which saved me the hassle and money of going to another shop. I heard really good things about this shop and when my a/c died I gave them a call. Ernesto scheduled me for first thing the next day, found a new part for $100 less than the used part I found, and gave me a really good deal on polishing my headlights that would have cost a few hundred dollars to replace, or way more for the same buffing service from a different shop. Very straightforward and honest mechanics, nice lobby, Ill be back if I have any car problems. Before and after pictures, get your headlights buffed here!

Went to Madison Auto Protection and Rustproofing to have my 2013 GMC Sierra undercoated and rust proofed. Ernesto and his team did a great job making sure not a spot was missed. Ernesto also did an amazing job explaining to me how his NH Oil system that he uses is different than anyone elses undercoating in Dane County. Will be heading back there in a few weeks to have some touch up paint work done on the body. Customer for Life, I would highly recommend you check them out.

I had my brand new Silverado Trail Boss underbody coated. It was done in a day and looks great! I crawled underneath when I installed new running boards and got a good look at the underbody. Brought my brand new 2020 Toyota Tundra to have rustproofing done. This is not your fathers old style rubber undercoating like zeibart, this is oil based and developed in the northeast where winters are really bad. New Hampshire undercoating products are the way to go now. Do a Google search and see for yourself. The price was fair and the results look excellent. Once the initial main treatment is done you only need touchups every fall before winter hits. Had a F150 rust out underneath me...never again! Again excellent service!

I recently bought a 92 Toyota truck. It was a west coast truck & rust free. Ernesto did a fabulous job undercoating it so it will stay that way. Ive driven it in the snow & slush a couple of times and the product is amazing. As soon as it warmed up all the slush and snow fell off leaving no trace.

Nesto did a fine job on my truck. NHoil seems like the way to go by interrupting the corrosion chain, keeps the rust a bay. Anything worth doing takes a yearly inspection and Nesto only charges a $20 fee to maintain this truck. You wont be disappointed with the work from this shop.

I often worry mechanics are overcharging me due to my lack of knowledge about cars, but Ernesto is the most trustworthy mechanic I’ve ever met. I was recommended this place recently by a friend, so I took my 2009 Honda Civic over to Madison Auto Protection and Rustproofing, and all I can say is WOW. I cant remember the last time I had such a positive experience with an auto shop. First off, Ernesto is a real class act-- honest, trustworthy, and an all-round good guy. He clearly takes pride in what he does, which is rare enough-- but he also does it at prices that are shockingly reasonable. A job that my regular guy wanted to charge me $1200 for, Ernesto did for less than half the price.The rustproofing he offers also costs much less than the dealer wanted to charge me for the same service. I learned the hard way that Wisconsin winters, road salt, and cars dont mix well, and lets just say that over the past 10 years, I learned the hard way that its worth investing in this to avoid crazy high repair costs in the long run... and for the cost at this place, youd be a fool to say no. I know Ill be making a lot of recommendations to this place for sure.Keep up the great work, Ernesto!
