Great people, great service. Honest, old school communication style. Affordable pricing, and they will educate you too. Highly recommended.
Toms is my go-to for all things auto. They seem to be open only Mon - Wed.
Ive used Toms Auto Clinic for every repair, major and minor, with our current car and our previous car. I trust these guys, absolutely and without hesitation. You couldnt ask for nicer, more knowledgeable folks. Steve does terrific work (theres no Tom any more), and his wife Mary Linn has a lot of expertise about cars too. Their work is quick and reliable, theyre friendly as heck, and theyll do everything they can to keep the price down. Really, its almost ridiculous -- Mary Linn topped off my brake fluid for nothing once, and Steve spent half an hour checking my fifteen-year-old Chevy, then fixed something that was, he said, so easy theres no charge. If youre looking for an honest mechanic, Toms Auto Clinic is the place to go in Madison.
Couldnt even do a simple tire patch not worth even stopping seems to be too busy to do anything else but what hes got on the rack 30-minute job.. it took you two seconds to get a bad review
Ive been going to Toms for 20 years. Most honest mechanic Ive ever been to. They are the best at diagnosing the problem before they start replacing parts.
After taking my car to a rock-bottom-priced auto garage on Milwaukee St. and getting burned on a headlight repair, I went to Toms, which is near my home. Toms folks discovered that the previous mechanic installed a broken part and fixed that for me. Next time Im just going to bring my car to Toms and skip price shopping. Lesson learned.
Great and honest
