Im sure this company does great work based on the other reviews. I didnt have the chance to try them out. I called about having someone come and remove our vermiculite insulation and then do the testing for proper disposal. I felt like I kept getting interrupted by them telling me its against code to touch it. Which I knew and that is why I was contacting a certified asbestos abatement company. Then they ended the conversation by telling me they werent taking any customers. It felt a little bit like they were trying to get rid of me but maybe they really didnt want any more customers or there was possibly a communication error in understanding what I was asking for. Based on the reviews Id say call them but luck wasnt in my favor at the time I called.
Bob was great, picked up the phone answered my questions on a Saturday evening. Quick sampling and very reliable responsive services.
Worked with AAC to have asbestos tile and mastic removed on our entire second floor. The work was done quickly and at a reasonable price. Would recommend!
John was amazing to work with. He expedited the asbestos removal so we could close and sell our house on time. SIX MONTHS LATER, I needed an image of the removal process and John was expedient on sending me the exact image I needed. Highly recommended.
John was wonderful. I had him encapsulate some asbestos pipes. His quotes were significantly less than all of the other quotes (by $500). He came on Tuesday and had the job done quickly and efficiently on Thursday. He even did a couple side assessments while in the house. Such a great experience, I would highly recommend him. Thanks John!
We reached out to AAC for removal of our vermiculite insulation. They came out and provided us a quote. There was a fee associated with the quote that we paid. We were told the fee would be applied to the bill when we scheduled the abatement. We called to schedule and were initially told we should go with another company because AAC was too busy. We said we’d wait since the project had already been quoted and AAC communicated they would get back to us. We never heard anything. We called back and were again told they would get back to us. We never heard anything. We called back, and no one answered our call. We continued to call over a couple weeks, but never reached anyone at AAC again. We ended up having our insulation abated by Advanced Health & Safety LLC who did a wonderful job. We highly suggest skipping AAC altogether. We were absolutely appalled that AAC would come out to quote the project, charge us for the quotation and never follow through with the job.
Excellent professional work on a very difficult job. Had to remove hazardous materials and found bad wiring in the attic. Were so accommodating to wait on finishing the job while I had electricians in to fix the problems. John and his crew were very easy to work with and the clean up was amazing. They were easily the most reasonably priced. I would use them again for any insulation or removal I would need in the future.
I found out that my linoleum contained asbestos when I decided to remodel my kitchen so I called several companies. AAC was the lowest bid, and also one of the most responsive companies I contacted. From first phone call to completion, the process only took 4 days. John came out and gave me a quote the same day I called, and the actual job only took one day. They were prompt, courteous and easy to deal with. I highly recommend them.
Just had a great experience with AAC Enviromental. John was very knowledgeable and his crew was extremely professional. I would definitely use them again.
Great Job-kept us informed-no issues-good to work with
Used AAC for floor tile and mastic in a basement. Quick turnaround, good price, great job. Would highly recommend.
Reasonable price for the work we needed. Worked around our timeline, efficient and responsive
John was very friendly in giving us a bid and planning the project with us. However, on the day the work was performed, his crew was unprepared--we had to lend them tape to hang plastic and close off the area, and John insisted that we were supposed to have removed a wall in our basement before they completed the work (What!? We had never planned or said we would remove the wall). Most importantly, after we had decided to pay them an extra ~$800 to remove the mastic, in addition to the tiles, they left a black, goopy mess at the end of the day and insisted it would dry and be fine. They had told us that we could expect some staining on the concrete from the mastic after the project was completed but staining means something very different to me than thick, black, goop. To get the floor clean enough to paint, we had to spend many house scrubbing with mineral spirits. We should have saved our money and done it ourselves from the beginning. They left the job half done and did a poor job. They also requested full payment before they completed any work. We should have taken that as a bad sign and called the project off.
