I went in first thing in the morning because my civic was making noise. They took all day to look at it and never called me. I ended up calling them around 3 pm. They said I needed rear calipers, breaks, and rotors for $1,200. I called the Honda dealer and they quoted me the exact same price except I would get quality Honda parts. I never agreed to the service and said the price was too high. The clerk said he would “work with my budget” and said he could use cheaper parts that would save me only $50. He even admitted the parts are problematic. I ended up picking up my car and having to pay the $45 BS fee since I never got the work done there. They didn’t even print me the quote with a breakdown of the charges. What a joke and a waste of my time. Very disappointing.

These guys got me in on short notice to do a muffler repair, they also alerted me of a few other issues they spotted while the car was on the lift. Nick does top notch work and the manger Steve was super friendly and accommodating. Prices were on the good side of average. Ill definitely be back next time I need work done that I cant do myself.

My family has been using WearMaster for all their car repair needs since we moved to Warren about 10 years ago. Recently the heat went out in my Jeep. Wearmaster located the issue (heater core) and repaired it in a few days! Very happy with the quality and cost of the work.

My only complaint is that I did not find this place sooner. The guy who runs it is very friendly and good with customers. They are honest and all about customer service. They dont try to oversell you on anything, only what you need and thats why im thankful to do business there.

Not only does Steve and his team do good work, which is hugely important, but they are also honest. And when I say honest, I mean HONEST! Other places will try to jerk you around and tell you that you need this repair or that repair done for possibly hundreds of extra dollars. Not Wear Master! Steve will be straight with you and tell you exactly what you need, even if it isnt the most expensive repair he could theoretically do in that situation.I will never take my car anywhere else than Wear Master.

This is the best shop around. There are some shady places out there, but this is a shop you can trust. All the workers here are awesome! Especially my man Steve! They helped me through a serious pickle. They even did some work for free as a gift because my wife and I are expecting a baby. I don’t know these guys, but they treated me like family. Drove out from midtown on the recommendation of one of my co-workers and her telling me about their great VIP program—prepaying for 4 oil changes/tire rotations/safety inspections for $80 is an unbelievable steal. The owner, Steve, was exceptionally friendly and we pleasantly chatted while the guys in the shop changed my oil and rotated my tires in about 20 minutes. Well worth the drive for me and in the event my car needs any work (likely given Michigan streets), this is where Ill come for sure. Id recommend these guys to anyone.

They scheduled the work quickly and completed the work when they said it would be completed. They were friendly, professional, and followed up on the day that I picked up the car to ensure that everything was running good and I was happy with the work. I have been coming to this Wearmaster location for many years. There are plenty of auto repair shops between my house and this location, but I am always going to be loyal to this shop. Professionalism, honesty, excellence in worksmanship, and integrity. These are the qualities that this shop personifies. They do nothing superflous and they always shoot straight. But they also go all of that one better. They dont just care about your car, they actually care about you. Steve and the men that work there are not only personable, they also have that precious commodity, a sense of humor. I cant recommend any other auto repair shop more highly than Wearmaster/Madison Heights.

I dont buy new cars, and Im not a guy who likes working on my own vehicles, so I really need a good auto shop to help me maintain my aging fleet. That’s why Ive been taking my vehicles to Wear Master now for at least a decade, and Ive never been disappointed with the service that Ive received.The customer service is top notch, and I’m always pleased with the work that is done. If something does go wrong, they stand behind their work and fix the issue. I’ve never got the runaround from anyone at this shop, and after years of excellent service, I will continue to take my business to people that I know that I can trust. Excellent service! Steve went above and beyond for me, even staying open late to complete the work on my Jeep so I could pick it up the same evening. He was very honest about what needed to be done and what didn’t. Fair prices. I will definitely be back for car repairs in the future.

Front desk service man was knowledgeable and very respectful and kind. When they had a line of cars to work on, he squeezed in my emergency and got me back on the road same day. I was very impressed by the service and treatment here. First time dealing with a mechanic that I didnt feel taken advantage of. I will be going back for more service as my vehicle needs more work. I will update after next visit.8/5/19 update:Took my car back for more service. These guys are amazing. One of them took the time to explain to me in detail how the link pins work. I didnt end up getting those replaced but they did fix my hub. I checked around and got much higher estimates elsewhere. Steve was again very helpful and took time to have me understand what was going on. Again, I am very satisfied with the service here and would recommend them to anyone with car troubles (or just maintenance). My car has close to 200,000 miles and things are starting to really wear down and break-- which is reasonable. I am confident this garage will fix what needs fixing and not recommend a bunch of work that may or may not need to be fixed.

I went to see Steve to have my muffler checked out. Got my car up in 10 minutes and gave me no BS rundown of what was going on underneath. Had a new muffler on the way ASAP and even managed to salvage as much as he could to keep my parts costs down. Excellent service, really friendly in the lobby, 100% will come back.

After I had my transmission replaced by another shop and that other shop messed up my exhaust, Wear Masters fixed the issues at fair prices. I felt comfortable here and I am confident these guys gave me the honest truth about my vehicle. They even allowed me to look at the issues. They practiced full transparency. 5 stars for honesty alone! But this also came with good service, knowledgeable staff.

There is a new guy there by the name of Steve....and he is the bomb. He is also friendly and trusting. Because of this I have ditched my Chevrolet dealership and began to do business with Steve instead. He makes you feel welcomed and also makes you feel like family.

Came for battery issues and they had me fixed up same day in under and hour. My dealership wouldnt even schedule me for another week! Super friendly service, and also filled my tires for me when they noticed I was low. Im super pleased I found a shop close to home that I like!

Car was repaired fine. Even got a thank you card from Steve, the manager. But upon inspecting my radiator hoses that got replaced, it didnt appear that they needed to be replaced. I also questioned whether more than one would have been leaking. Given that they also replaced a thermostat seal, it seemed like at least one of those repairs was superfluous.

Editing my 1 star review I had left previously..... After my experience I had of not wanting to go back to wear masters ever.. they amazed me with their client service. The owner Paul is amazing and contacted me personally to discuss things. I took my vehicle back to give them one more shot and they amazed me. Quoted me a price with a discount, then changed his mind at the end. Then put on a faulty starter that died within a week. I bought my own starter and replaced it myself. An expensive quality starter that still saved $300 over the cost Wear Master charged me. Wont go back.
