Excellent staff, very caring team! Even through the tough times weve ALL been faced with lately theyve still been as helpful as possible for everyone. Ive used them on a professional and personal level for years. Most people dont realize what its like to deal with insurance company rules on a daily basis. Ive been on both sides of that fence, and believe me Chichesters ensures quality and excellence in a more timely manner than ANYONE else youll deal with- because they make sure its right the 1st time! I simply wouldnt trust anyone else. If you want people that actually care about you then Id say give them a chance and youll see for yourself.

Chichesters Homecare in Macon, GA has been a lifesaver for me and my family for over 33 years. I do not know how we would have coped without this business. Owner Wendy has taken care of my father, mother, brother, and me through Alzheimers and dementia, broken bones, surgeries, heart attacks, foot problems, mobility issues, health monitoring, incontinence, and countless other medical issues. She has advised us on and provided us with wheelchairs, hospital beds, socks and compression hose, hernia binders, bath equipment, canes, bedding supplies, and so many other items. I currently drive five hours roundtrip just to visit that store. That is how much I trust Wendy and her staff. They are always available to consult with over the phone and to meet with me in person. It is so much easier to shop on site for medical supplies than to shop online through strangers with varying degrees of expertise. When I have been unable to physically come into the store, I have been able to talk with Wendy over the phone, and she has shipped what I needed. In addition to the wide selection of quality items and the incredible expertise of Wendy and her staff, the personal support and compassion I have received from Wendy have made difficult circumstances so much easier to bear. She has seen me through the passing of my father, mother, and brother, and is now taking care of me. I will be forever grateful.

The staff at Chichesters go above and beyond to be helpful, to make recommendations, to obtain appropriate documentation from doctors to ensure equipment is covered and provided in a timely manner. They are very knowledgeable! They are always my first choice!

The staff is always friendly and treat me with respect. Staff was very informative and quickly assisted me with fulfilling my insurance order.

I am in the process of looking for a company to purchase equipment for my sister who is now permantely disabled due to a gun shot accident. I, myself now have a shattered ankle bone and am in need of a wheelchair. After reading the reviews I can certainly say I would not purchase anything from Chichesters.The current negative reviews are very telling and unfortunately, the positive ones read as being very staged. This company simply makes me highly suspicious. I am guessing if you know someone on the inside then customer service is very attentive but if you dont you are left handicapped without a wheelchair and their attitude is, oh well .

Upon discharge from a local hospital, I had to have O2 equipment available at home. The hospital staff made all the arrangements and Im very glad they chose this company! Very courteous and knowledgeable staff. Phone calls answered promptly and, if a call back is necessary, they call back within minutes not hours. VERY pleased with the service that I received.

I DEFINITELY would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE!!!I had to have a below knee amputation so on June 30th I was given a prescription for a wheelchair. The staff waited a week to send it to my doctors office( no explanation why) and still waiting for a wheelchair today ( July 13th). Still havent heard back from them unless I call and then Im treated like Im bothering them. 😡Seeing how I cannot respond to the comment from this business, I am editing for my response. They (the doctors office) has been in contact with me in the last few minutes and suspiciously the only phone call was made to my doctors office AFTER My negative review was posted. However, she did say they changed their system this week and had the paperwork got sent over promptly ( not a week later) this would not even had been a problem. If I could give 0 stars I would have and still do!!! Can you give me a reason why it took a week to even START dealing with filling my prescription??? 54 years old and having to use crutches for the first time in my life is a horrible thing to do to someone!So, this will be my last edit for this company. After I made my last edit, I did receive a phone call from wendi at chichesters You would think that she would be trying to help me get the device that I need desperately. (Wheelchair). BUT NOPE... IT SEEMS THAT THEY HAVE DECIDED TO CUT ME LOOSE AND I WILL BE PICKING UP MY PAPERWORK TO FIND A PLACE THAT WILL STAND BY ME AND HELP ME WITH THE ISSUE THAT IM HAVING!!I cannot state this enough... please dont use this company unless your willing to wait weeks for your product. I happily will be picking up my paperwork and finishing what they started (insert laugh here).

Very poor customer service, rude. I have called 3 times to have one piece of equipment picked up and all they tell me is they will call an hour prior to pickup. Cant even tell me what day to expect them.

Chichesters service staff were extremely helpful in helping me select a lift chair and also assisting with my claim to Medicare. They had more inventory to choose from than anyone in town. I found the selection and service to be superior to other stores in Macon!

This is the best place and definitely worth a drive from Perry. Fast service and there is no doubt that they genuinely care about everyone who walks in the door. Thank you Renee!

I have purchased a variety of products from these people off and on for over 20 years and have found them to be very helpful and effective in meeting the needs of their customers.

Always feel like Im unwelcome by the staff.Did not know of other options for my diabetic shoes, so I went here . The lady that does the shoes ordered shoes that are much too large for my feet, and after inserting the indoles, flatly told me there was nothing she could do .Charged Medicare almost 200 bucks for shoes I cant wear and was told I cant return.After the year Im forced to wait, I wont be going here for another pair. This place has seen my face for the last time.

Went in to get an item my doctor said would be covered by my insurance. A nice gentleman explained my insurance coverage and why the item wasnt actually covered on my policy. Even though I was disappointed, I felt the staff member was friendly and professional. Thank you

Customer Service is non existent. The lady wanted to argue about coverage when the item I needed IS covered by my insurance. Luckily there are other medical supply stores in town so I will never have to use this company.

I though the whole point of these local medical/pharmacies was that the customer care was supposed to be better. Not so here.
