Love this place and I appreciate the help I am receiving for my son.
It was an okay experience with LifeStance staff online However, the therapist that I chose left me feeling uneasy after the 3 sessions we had. I didn’t feel the therapist really understood what it takes for me or anyone to come out of your comfort zone and let out and share things. This therapist I had, seemed to want me to move on QUICKLY from past my emotions that made me feel like I was being urged to GET OVER things by the next session so she could feel like she had helped me. But I always felt like I was unsure if I was being helped? I stopped after the next session just don’t think that was the help I needed.. Overall Iit was a Good experience.. .
After looking for quite some time for a place to help me with my anxiety I stumbled across this place on zocdoc. I made an appointment and after my first visit I was a little comfortable but still unsure. We tried a couple different methods and we found(together) a solution to helping calm my anxiety. Well after having to call mutiple times about my medicine it quickly turned back uncomfortable.
Dr Rally was professional, staff sought out the answer to my question and received ansewer quickly.
This is an awesome service. I was not use to teledoc so I was a bit nervous but C Smith was wonderful and so easy to talk to. I highly recommend them.
Just be aware, Lifestance Health is large organization I’m speaking specifically about one location.I initially I was so impressed with this organization. The first provider I saw was amazing! When my third visit was due she had left the office. I was extremely disappointed. There is a lot of confusion and lack of communication going on with the scheduling and billing areas of this office I am currently using. Some how they have managed to scheduled me with two other providers in their office that are not in my network and didn’t tell me that.My first 2 visits the provider was in network. Let me be clear, I love the providers! It is the other staff that I am having issues with.I even had a health insurance representative call their billing office and apparently the psychiatrists in the office are all in network but the nurse practitioners that work with the doctors are not.So my first 2 visits the office billed under the psychiatrist as he is the one approving my medication, even though I had my appointments with his nurse practitioner.I love my new nurse practitioner but the office is NOT billing under the psychiatrist she works with but rather her & my health insurance company representative told the billing office only the doctors are in network not the nurse practitioners.I’m super bummed as I truly love the interaction I have in my sessions.I feel my patient’s rights have been grossly disregarded. How dare they schedule me with providers that they know are not going to be covered. It is just so unfortunate! Then the billing office employee asked my health insurance representative why I was changing providers?1st of all, the original provider I wanted to continue to see, left their office, NOT my fault!2nd, I was told specifically by the nurse practitioners that if I want “therapy” sessions to gain advice I need to talk to a “therapist”, SO THAT IS WHY I HAVE “Switched” it seen other providers.I don’t know what to do as I love my provider but she isn’t in my network but the doctor who approves my medication and signs my prescription is but they won’t bill under him.IT IS JUST SO RIDICULOUS & ADDING MORE STRESS TO MY LIFE!Especially, when their providers are trying to help me improve my mental health. It is pretty counterproductive.
Extremely professional! Made me comfortable throughout the session.
A friend of mine is in distress because these folks are not providing the level of support needed. My friend goes here for help and you all are causing more suffering due to staff incompetence.
Sherri Johnson was my therapist. On intake she was very unprofessional, yawning while asking me questions, television on loudly in the background and that’s just a few things that weren’t right with the call. Once I made her aware and asked if there was another provider she got even more unprofessional and hung up the call. My mental health was not a priority to her and I felt it hard this morning. Choose better care yourself. I was not okay this morning.
Dr rally still the best psych dr I ever seen.
The follow up was brief and helpful. Adjustments were made as needed.
Ive been using them for about 2 months now. Getting started was a bit of a hassle. But everything has been a hassle with this pandemic going on. Everything is done over the phone through telehealth. Nice staff, They answer all my questions. And my counselor deals with everything Im going through. Which is a lot.
Talking with Dr. Rally help me relate better with my condiction than anyone else in the last two or three years Now i know its more physical than mental
I’m so happy with my Doctors here at LifeStance Health. They take good of me and my health needs
He changed my scripts to manage my symptoms and explained exactly how to proceed until I see him next month.
The patient portal and satellite offices have zero communication and make getting refills unnecessarily difficult. The providers are great; however, the staff is rude and condescending when addressing complaints. If not for being one of the only providers available with my insurance I would never choose to be a LifeStance/Georgia Behavioral patient.
Therapist really seemed to understand what I was saying.
The people were nice . I enjoyed the conversation . I only have one visit but if I needed more for any reason. I would choose that particular office.
Great personality, informative, warm and professional
So far I’ve had a wonderful experience with GBHP of Macon. My calls have been answered promptly. I get reminder calls for my next day appointments plus a reminder to fill out the pre-appointment health surveys. My PMHNP has been very helpful and I absolutely love talking to Lauren Morrison, my LPC. While the convenience of tele-health is nice, I’m looking forward to in person appointments. I would recommend them.
Awesome experience thank you
Dr. Sanders was very attentive and thorough.
Very pleasant visit
THEY SUCK!!! THE incompetence is RIDICULOUS!!!
Phone wait is terrible. Customer service for first time clients and Appointments is also terrible. They don’t call you back timely or at all for that matter. Told to call back Monday before my appointment to get an actual price for the service after insurance. Not only did they not have it ready as they said they would. She couldn’t get it done, told me to either call back later or that I can reschedule for a time when I can afford it!!!????There is no reason to assume I can’t afford my service just because I want to know the actual cost of my first appointment beforehand (there is a 24 hour cancellation charge ).Oh did I mention? Despite not having the information they promised by Monday it’s Tuesday and I’m on hold again. Spoke to someone who says she’ll call me back. Received a call back that rang ONCE and no message was left etc etcVery poor overall communication. Very poor service. Very sad way to run a health professionals office. Very bad experience for a first time client.
