My sister and I love Dwight, we paid $100 each and live an hour away and we want our money back! It’s not Dwights fault but yet the sound guy that night didn’t do his job correctly, we couldn’t hear the vocals, had to guess what song he was singing by the tune....which was also difficult to figure out......very very disappointing. I’ve seen Dwight 3 times before and the sound was not a problem. I hate that it makes Dwight look bad, he is an awesome performer. Would love our money back but good luck with that right! So just this one experience at this venue - I will never go see another show there.

The theater is beautiful. This review is for the sound guy tonight at Dwight Yoakam. I paid $200 and drove 2 hours to listen to Dwight Yoakam mumble. I couldnt understand one story he told. Barely heard him sing. I thought the sound guy must be on stage. Nope. Hes on the floor. What a waste. Turn his vocals up next time. Jfc. It really has been a bummer

This venue was a good choice for the Love Extravaganza concert featuring: Surface, Kindred the Family Soul, and headliner Musiq Soulchild. The seating made the show feel more intimate and relaxed. The sound quality for the concert was excellent. Bar staff and concessions were fast and friendly. I found the restrooms tidy and supplied well during this event, thats always a plus! The ticket staff was very competent at receiving phone scan tickets, however once inside out was a little difficult to find seat locations that match ticket because that info was handwritten and taped to floor at each row. Kudos to whoever had to hand write all those location cards!

Great place to catch all the old soul greats still strutting their stuff and singing their greatest hits as if it was still the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Was an excellent show at a great venue. The sound is excellent, and visibility of good throughout. We had floor seats. The folding chairs seemed a little tightly packed considering there is a major flu epidemic, so we stood in the back behind the chairs and did not miss a thing. There was plenty of room, nobody hassled us, the sound was amazing, and we could see just fine.

Its a nice historic facility, which means its dated and in need of some sprucing up. As long as you go in knowing that - you can enjoy it. Recently saw a concert here and the sound was fantastic. What the place lacks in looks inside - it made up for with sound. I would certainly come back.

We saw Clint Black here Sept. 21, 2018. It was amazing. Parking was a little confusing, not many signs telling you where to go but once we figured it out, it was great. Its an old building so its best to know that going in. There will be stairs. The simple folding chairs on the main floor were surprisingly comfortable. The balcony looked like a great place to be. The restrooms and beer are in the basement. We saw Chicago (the band) and had a good time. Its such a small and beautiful venue that well be looking for reasons to go back.Parking is on the street. We had to walk about 3 blocks (around the courthouse). Again, as long as you know what to expect, its a nice experience.

This is a good venue for intimate performances. It is, however, not very accommodating for elderly or disabled patrons. The excessive number of steps seems unfair to those who are older or physically challenged, but would like to enjoy performances. Additionally, the sound system needs an upgrade.

Show was great, sound was great, not a bad seat in the house, we expected a problem with parking (street) but no issues there either. BUT, we had balcony seats and there is no leg room! Im 6ft tall and could not sit with my legs in a normal position. I had dents in my knees from the back of the seat in front of me and the lady sitting there had long hair and I kept pinching it between my knees and the back of the seat. So beware if you are a tall person, get an isle seat, plan to stand up in back, or the front row in the balcony looked like it had more leg room.

It had been a long time since I had been at the auditorium. While it is nice and clean, I think it could use some updating. Those seats in the balcony are so tight. Im short and I was struggling. I can only imagine how it is for people who are taller. Knees hitting the chair in front of you while youre trying to enjoy a show is not fun. Additionally, when you get food and/or a drink, it worse bc there is no where to put it or room to eat it. Cup holders would help.

Racist! The staff told us that they are instructed to close down certain things and only have 5 bottles of everything on hand at “black” events and once it is out it is gone because the owners do not want black people in their establishment drinking because “black people get out of hand when they drink”. It was a terrible thing to hear. I pray for our country. You would think we were past racism this day and age but it’s everywhere. We will never be going back there again.

Visited for the first time on 11/9/18 for the Rodney Carrington show and, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy of an experience it was. The parking is on the street and is paid by meters but is reasonable at $1.25 per hour and only enforced until 8:00 PM. As we got there right as the doors opened, the staff was waiting for us to walk up for our security screening and were pleasant and professional. The ushers were friendly and showed us right to our seats. The concessions were pretty pricey but is typically expected at shows. They do sell alcoholic beverages and I overheard they were rather expensive as well. I appreciated the historic feel of the venue and the acoustics were excellent. I already have tickets to another show next year and cant wait to return.

Kevin Hart was amazing but the security and staff was horrible tonight. Literally didnt want us to use the restroom or buy merchandise right after the show! We paid to watch the show and was enjoying it. So obviously we didnt want to get up during it just to ensure we could use the restroom. They advertised the shirts during the show. So, some of our people wanted to go get them. Attitude for wanting to do both. Also, during the show security walked in front of our view repeatedly. Im not even kidding when I say the guy blocked total view of the show at least 30 times. If you have the choice dont go here!
