Well for starters; my barber, Vegas, charges $40 — for just fading my sides, because I have locs at the top. No biggie, I assumed I was paying for quality, until a contracted Bacterial Folliculitis from my LAST time having Vegas cut my hair. Two days after my cut, I noticed a line of bumps down the edge of my hair line. I disregarded them, assuming that they’d eventually go away. Well, as the days progressed the bumps began to spread and became inflamed and very painful. Fast forward to today (my cut was on January 15), nearly 10 days have passed and I’m still treating what I assumed were “hair bumps.” I am completely confused because as to why, all of a sudden now, I am dealing with these skin issues. I then visited my dermatologist so that I could have her take a look to try and rule out what was going on. She diagnosed the “bumps” as BACTERIAL FOLLICULITIS - and, stressed that I never return, because this wasn’t a reaction that shouldn’t have just randomly occurred; seeing as how I don’t have a history of these issues. She went on to say that the ailment was caused by under-cleaned barber tools. I then, reached out to Vegas, made here aware and asked for a refund, to which she completely disregarded and replied with a “dissertation” that basically discredited what my dermatologist, THE ACTUAL PROFESSIONAL had declared. This barbershop isn’t even following COVID19 safety precautions, so how in the hell am I supposed to even BELIEVE that the tools were thoroughly cleaned and sanitized? WHATEVER YOU DO — go SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

This shop has by far been one of best first time trying experience I’ve ever had, Rico gave me great quality work that met beyond my expectations from past experiences. The Quad has good prices too for those who looking for insight. good people, more importantly an even better welcoming upper class environment with an atmosphere of genuine people who take pride in their work while making you feel comfortable. I said I was hot and they turned the AC even colder just for me! I HIGHLY recommend ANYBODY who’s reading this to GO!

Horrible experience with guy in the first chair, Que. Came in with over 4 inches of hair wanting a fade and to leave some at the top, even had a pic...he cut it all off and left with a basic short fade. Told him that this wasnt what we asked for at all and his response was that hed get it right next time when it grows back.

Dont go to the guy with dreads sitting in first seat. Charges 50 a cut and cant cut. 50 dollar hair cut comes with wash and conditioner blade hot towel treatment etc....This guy is a con gives you a quick wash to make sure no grease in hair. Thats it average cut at best dont waste money or time here, unless getting cut from someone else.

I’ve been in the business a long time I recommend if your on the west side to check into The Quad for that manly atmosphere it’s a must visit for father and son’s alike! Great job fellas I applaud you work and atmosphere! Kendrick

NY man quad celebrity barber on deck makes every cut feel like the first tight chop

So Q said they charge 15 a cut . I took my 8 year old and 4 year old son this man charged me 40! See thats why you cant do business with black people! Bisaclly took a whole 10 out my pocket i wasnt already in the mood so i let it be but wont be coming back
