BSA recently started working at my apartment building. It’s a huge relief having someone who wants to be there and knows how to communicate effectively. Joey has been such a great asset and has helped complete tasks in a timely manor. He is knowledgeable, reliable and professional. I can’t thank him enough for coming in and getting things done I had been waiting over two months for. He went above and beyond and I am very appreciative.
Shaun is the best! Saved our lives by coming out to fix our AC on short notice during a heat wave, with the added bonus that he’s just a super nice guy. Appreciate having him and BSA as our maintenance team
I worked for the company a little over three and a half weeks. It took them two and a half months to get back to me. Once I started working here I soon found it to be a crummy job with a defective system overall. They basically text you a site and you attend the site without any physical training of any sort.Your basically thrown into a job site that assumes you know how to do everything. Which was okay for the first day being that I love challenges. However the second day when I went back to the site at Lake Meadow housing located in the southside of chicago near De La Salle highschool the staff was unresponsive. The weather was about 90 degrees waited two hours in the very radiant sun then left. Two hours I did not get paid for after being told I would. The second site being the Hemming way house which is a condominium complex located near Old town. I worked at this location for about a week. The the onsite building engineer was very condensing and exploited his power of authority. For example there is a corridor area in which the door must remain locked at all times. I locked the doors then proceeded to the compact room to finish my janitorial duties. Basically he opened the door and used the door stopper to leave the door open then radioed me to close it, he did this several times. Being that I was in desperate need of a job at the time I acquiesced to the work environment and finished out the week. The next site I was given was downtown at River Bend condominiums in which the work environment was exemplary. However I only worked for a day. The next day I could not get to the site due to financial hardship( even tried to hop the train to still get to work). I thought my boss understood once I told Julie about situation. She basically sent me a text and said send my hours I sent them and never received a text back. I waited a week to see if there would be any sort of communication about future job sites. I called Julie and asked was I still employed with the company she told me that she would no longer use me for any job sites, basically meaning I was fired. Personally coming from a management background myself I feel as if that was something you communicate with a person instead of just flat out ignoring them and having them think they still have a job. Overall I am extremely disgusted with companies practices overall.
