Over priced...I bought my own oil and filter. And they still charged me full price..
This location has been the best out of all the jiffy’s I’ve been to! This one is super close to my house and they have always given me 5 star service. Took care of all my needs to putting on my license plates to fixing a tire for me or recommending the best place for me to go! It’s clean and the employees here r amazing. I’ll definitely be back for anything else I need ⭐️
Horrible service, they lie about wait times, waited for 3 hours, the guy at the front told us it would be only 30 minutes more then someone else finally approached us and said another hour. People came 2 hours after me and we’re gone by 20-40 minutes. Super expensive ( I paid over 500 dollars to watch them not work on it) and no sense of urgency. Most of them are just lounging around and talking to their buddies which is unprofessional. If I could give this place no stars I would. Go somewhere else or to an actual mechanic.

Totally a rip off. Wasted almost $300 there. They are not skilled enough to diagnose and fix the car problems. Don’t waste your money there. They will charge you more if you continue fix the mistakes they made and it will end up the problem is still there. Very unprofessional!!!

First I called to see if they can just change my oil filter that I bought myself only and they were very helpful they gave me an estimated wait time of about an hour and when I got there they were done in 20 minutes and they were so nice they didn’t even charge me for the service. Customer service was good. The mechanic replaced barely enough oil that my engine was running ruff and slightly knocking. This isnt the first time I encounter this issue at another location in Culver City. Where ever you go please check your oil level afterwards. It might save you time and frustration.

Terrible service, & INCREDIBLY over priced.I went with my sister to go get her oil changed, & it took them almost 2 HOURS to complete the service. Why? Because they didn’t have a filter on hand. Instead of letting us know, they made us wait by not telling us till afterward. They literally ordered & had the filter delivered. Mid-Service. Instead of telling us what was going on they made us wait & kept us in the dark. All the while more than a few other customers were coming & going having arrived after us. They wasted our time & $.There were a number of previous lack luster visits on my own that I won’t get into. This last visit with my sister was definitely my last.PS: The employees here are also rude.
We were greeted right away got the menu I asked whatvI wanted they verified gave me a price right away. Once they told us to wait she recommended to look for a coupon for later and it worked saved $20 wait was 40 minutes. Overall the service was awesome.

Let car hood dirty with oil
Disappointed. I came in for a quick oil change, but was recommended to get $800 worth of services/changes. One of them being my brakes. They said I had no breaks in the front and had messed up the rotor due to the fact. When I questioned why I hadnt heard the grinding/squeaking noise, the young ladys demeanor changed, starting with her tone of voice and eye contact. She stated that she had heard it and questioned how it was that I hadnt heard it. I thought about defending my stance, as there was an implication that I was lying. Anyway, I asked her to only do the oil change and the engine air filter for now and asked how much longer shell take. 15 minutes was the estimated time. 15 minutes later I saw them pulling my car up from where they actually do the service. I waited an additional 15 more minutes for them to call me, until I walked over and asked if my car was done. They said it was, I paid and left. Good customer service skills were out the window; left me wondering if it was because I denied the recommended services. Im looking at the SERVICE CHECKLIST. They have checked off that they vacuumed floors & inflated tires to proper pressure, but they did not. Im left questioning what other services where checked off as completed, but not actually done. Im NOT a first time customer and know the quality & services they usually provide. Deal breaker.
I went in for oil change and front brakes. They convinced me to get a $299.00 package that included rotating my tires, changing the brake fluid, checking and topping off all fluid levels, checking air filters, checking tire pressure, along with the brake and oil change. Well they only did 3 of those items and I know this because Ive had the car 2 years and never had my air filters changed before so I questioned them about the fact that they started on the paperwork that they were good so another tech check and they were not. This person said they were sure that the tech didnt even check. Bottom lineINCOMPLETE AND POOR SERVICE.

On May 12, 2020 my 2015 Kia Optima gave up on me at 84,000 miles. My car started knocking every time I would accelerate so I immediately towed it to American Tire Depot Auto Care in Hermosa Beach. The mechanic asked me when and where my last oil change was because my car was running on no oil. The car was basically starving on oil and ended up messing up my motor. I told the mechanic that I had my oil change done at Jiffy Lube(9901 State St, Lynwood Ca 90262) not too long ago, about 4,000 miles ago. The mechanic also stated that it was odd that my return sticker from Jiffy Lube marked an approximate return time at 161,000 miles. The mechanic went on and advised me to get a copy of the receipt from Jiffy Lube, which I did. When Jiffy Lube asked for my license plate, my car was not appearing on their system. I then gave them my phone number and sure enough, a Kia Optima popped up but with different plates and the same car mileage I had back in January, 80,000 miles. Meaning I had only exceeded my mileage by 4,000 miles when my car broke down. I found this quite odd considering that the Jiffy Lube employee said my car would run up to 5,000 miles with the synthetic oil they hustled me for. I brought the receipt to my mechanic and he said there was no way they put 5 quarts of oil into my car because my car would have still had oil. The mechanic said that having the car on no oil basically messed up the car which is what was causing the motor knocking. So, I called the same Jiffy Lube store to start a claim and spoke to store manager, Emilio, who was very helpful by answering my questions and providing me with corporate’s number to start a claim. I called corporate and spoke to a representative who was also very professional and provided me with the district manager’s number and email. Everybody was so professional until I got to the district manager, Peralta. When I spoke to Mr. Peralta, I let him know my situation and if there was any way that I can start a claim with Jiffy Lube. I told Mr. Peralta everything my mechanic told me and he started joking and questioning the ability of my mechanic, which I feel was pretty rude and arrogant of his part. I obviously got very upset given that my car is not working and not a joking matter to me. I am currently an essential worker and have to rely on Ubers to get to my job. So, I asked Peralta for a video footage of the employees working on my car because I strongly believe they did not even work on my car. Peralta however, claimed to have no footage. I also mentioned to Peralta that the plates on the receipt did not match my car’s license plate and that the return sticker said to come back at 161,000 miles. Which means someone was not doing their job correctly if you ask me. I trusted Jiffy Lube with an oil change because I thought they were highly trained technicians. Well now I know that’s just how they make it seem. They do not really care about the customer’s car, they truly just want your money. When asking for a resolution or some type of clarification, I am no longer a customer to them. The district manager didn’t even ask me for any receipts, he did not take fault on anything and most upsettingly, he did not even apologize. DO NOT TAKE your cars to any Jiffy Lube in SoCal. It is not the first time and unfortunately, it won’t be the last.

Dumb of me I returned to this place, first time came for their special and ended up paying more, plus they broke the radiator cap, now they gave me someonelses information, who has mine! the window sticker was even wrong way more mileage. Learned my lesson not going back.
Ive came to this location for years now always good and professional, today theres was none of that a bit rude actually. Also was not given a new reminder sticker, or reset of my maintenance light.
I did first oil change on my brand new 2020 honda accord(6050miles), they hussle(recommend)me to change all air filters in car and try to sell me synthetic oil or my car warranty will be void. They will try to scare u to buy/upgrade unnecessary stuff.

Did an oil change, basically the way they get the employees to up-sale makes you think twice whether this is the right place for you or not; anyway time goes by the engine is leaking, didnt think much of it until my car stopped on the road one day. Basically, big companies such as these really know how to swindle their customers. They didnt seem much like professionals, just teens who were taught the basics, but now my car has been acting up and Im more than 3,000 miles away from my next service when the engine oil is already done in my car. I dont recommend, its better to go to a small trusted mechanic and pay half of what Jiffy Lube charge.Edit: They didnt screw the cap correctly at the time and all the engine oil leaked gradually in less than a week.
Went to jiffy lube for the first time ever to get my oil change done. I went because I thought it was trust worthy and good. I paid $100 for an oil change and aside from that the person who did my oil change stained my seats. I called to report this and never ever got called back. What makes me upset is that I tried cleaning them and I have a big patch of oil stain on each of my seats (passenger and driver seat) getting seats washed ISNT CHEAP costs OVER $100. I don’t mean to be insensitive but I don’t think I should go in and pay $100 for an oil change and come out with my seats stained??!? Unbelievable and never In my life recommending someone to go to any jiffy lube.
This place just stole money from me and definitely lost my business with them. I went in for an oil change and nothing more. As usual they try and get you for that extra service. They came at me with a deal that would replace a filter for only 20 dollars. Unknowingly I said fine, another 20 didnt sound too bad. Retail price on that filter is less than 20 dollars. Guess what the labor cost was for that 2 minute change? Another 20 dollars. When I spoke to the manager of the theft that was occurring and that I didnt want to be robbed he said he could take it off but would need to charge me another 20 for labor. Excluding the part they would still be charging me 40 dollars more than anticipated. I cant believe the inhumanity occurring with this manager. Ive been coming here for years and I cant believe the lack of customer service I recieved today. Its unfortunate that you have to screw people over for a living. My two vehicles will never be back to this location. As for the manager, I hope that your karma catches up with you and every wrong youve ever written is given back to you tenfold. The fact that you know I caught you and the fact that you werent willing to go back to my original price is why you suck as a person and are undeserving of that title you carry. Dont go here people. Its not worth it. Price is never what they say it will be.Update....Hey everyone I just had to add this because this guy that responds to all these bad reviews doesnt do anything to make things right. All he does is tries to make it seem like hell reach out online but never does. Hes trying to make it look like they will try and fix the issue but he never did. Ive always had a good experience when I bring my boyfriend or my brother with me but unfortunately this visit I came by myself for a simple oil change they recommended transmission oil and motor oil because it was time to change walked out of there paying more than $200... its unfortunate that when they see a girl take a car they try to take advantage I never go alone because of these reasons and Im fortunate you guys just lost a good customer Ive had my car for 2 years and Ive always took in there showed my brother my bill wasnt happy with it now I have to look for another place because this company takes advantage or maybe not the company but the employees working there the manager as well I dont get why would you take advantage of a customer that goes there all the time when you guys see the history and the car its just sad that I can go to this place unfortunately because I cant trust them anymore now I have to go look for somewhere else.

I had my 2008 Chevy Impala serviced December 19th for an oil change. The guy advised that I needed a transmission service as well, I mentioned to him I did not have time and that I needed to be on the road by 8am. I arrived at Jiffy Lube at 7:15am that Saturday. They started working on my car by 7:40am and they where done by 7:55am. Everything was quick which I did not think about it since I needed to leave. Everything is good for the next three days when my car breaks down Tuesday and does not change gears to move forward nor back. I was stuck on the freeway, my car just stopped running and I couldnt go anywhere, luckily it was traffic time and people werent going as fast but that did not stop my anxiety attack I was having. I called AAA and they towed me to my home. I called Jiffy Lube the next day and the manager Michael came out to see my car and basically said, Well theirs oil. Im 1000% sure Jiffy Lube messed up my transmission from my past experience as well about 3 years or more when I took it to the same place for an oil change and they messed up my car and it started leaking ever since. I pad about $500 then to fix my car at the time I just paid for it because I didnt want to deal with a headache but now Im a single mother to three girls I NEED MY CAR!! Michael stated he would contact his BOSS in corporate and see if he can have the car towed and diagnosed. I have not received one call since he came out last week, I understand is the Holidays but at least follow-up, I called him yesterday 12/28 and left a message, I called again today and is his off day. It sad to know that everyone I tell that I took my car for service at Jiffy Lube and then it stopped working arent surprised at all. Every single person I have talked to has only bad things to say about you. How does that make you feel as a company? I want someone to call me and follow-up about my car and fix it. My car was fine before taking it over to you guys for service never had a problem and to be the holidays this sucks for me and my family I need my car back!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ANY JIFFY LUBE!!!!!!

Advertise low prices but more expensive than the dealership. Took my 2017 infinity q60. Employee says you have to do synthetic only and the price is 129.99. I told him the dealership is 80 dollars. He said but I get you out faster. By the way the dealership said synthetic oil is not a must.

Just came to this jiffy lube and saw them swindle an old lady, she came for an oil change and they told her that she needed a brake flush, radiator flush, and change the transmission fluid. It’s so upsetting that they got the job done in 10 min as I waited there.... as a general mechanic I know that any of that service cannot be done in 10 min..... they just topped off and called it a day. I told the lady about it but she was said they got me this time. Personally I’m never giving jiffy lube my business again.
Everyones really friendly, efficient, and helpful. Semi fast considering how many other people were there. I was helped immediately when I pulled up, and one of the guys scared me because I thought Id be waiting for a bit. Im pretty sure Jesus was the one who helped me, and the other gentleman who was also helpful couldve gone by the name of Vitalino or George. Unexpectedly cleaned my windows, vacuumed the interior, and checked/fixed my tire pressure.

Not a bad place to take your car for an oil change. I did have a problem a while back. Took my car in for routine oil change and they didnt didnt screw the oil pan screw on the way or tight enough. This is what my mechanic told me. He was able to screw off with his fingers. That caused my engine to bad. I went back to the same store and told me to make a report to send to there Headquarters. Never heard back. But again here I am still getting an oil change at the same place. Not the same workers from that time.

They take your car in and then hit you with a high pressure sales situation in which they recommend an engine flush (almost no car needs this) among others. Someone who doesnt know anything is likely to end up with hundreds of dollars in extra, unnecessary maintenance. I will not be back here, ever. It is also very expensive, even just for an oil change. Easily twice the price of the average place.

Every time I take my car to this location, it ends up being WORSE than when I brought it in. They supposedly flushed my transmission, about 2 hours laters it starts making a sound Ive never heard it make before. Than the next day It wouldnt start. It took about 10 minutes to get it to turn on. I am VERY upset about this because from reading these other reviews, many others have the same experience. Seems like they just want the money, but, someone WILL fix my car TODAY. If any bigger issues arise because of their dealing with it, legal actions will be taken. Dont go here.
Mediocre to Low grade customer service, spoke to me very rude and unprofessional initially. Someone said have a nice day at the end. And when they couldnt figure out how many quarts of oil my car takes they just guessed, and I had to let them know I want them to get it right so then they looked under the hood. I have a brand new car and honestly they didnt deserve to do my oil change as lost and unprofessional as they were. The only reason I came here is because my sister sent me a gift through Groupon for here, other than that I wouldnt have come. Oh but the service was pretty quick, and had they told me they were vacuuming the floor, I would have removed my back pack off the floor so they could hit all floors, lack of communication is no bueno.

I will never go there again, I took my car for an oil change, these guys told me that they didnt had the oil filter on stock that they had to go buy it . it happen twice!! so I decided to go somewhere else and I found out that the oil filter was never replaced 😡 .
They lied and charged me $189.00 plus tax to give me an oil change for motor and transmission!! Little did I know that for my BMW it takes a technician and a special tool to be able to change the oil for the transmission. Jiffy Lube had neither but yet the representative for Jiffy Lube charged me $189 hes not telling me that they dont do that job for a BMW they are thieves at least the ones in Southgate or Cudahy whatever the cities name is

They are horrible!!!! I have been going to this place for years and they have screwed me over multiple times. There was one incident where one of the mechanics left a water bottle in the hood of my vehicle, and I did not notice until a month later. Another incident I had with them was when a mechanic of theres gave me false information by saying that my vehicle was leaking oil. I called them to ask about the issue and they hung up in my face. Im not sure why their service fees are so expensive because their mechanic work is not up to par.

Worse jiffy lube to go to. Being doing business with jiffy lube for years but this particular place is horrible. We drove in was told we would be there approximately 25 minutes, well it took them an hour to come talk to us and just because we started seeing other cars being worked on first than ours. Cars that arrived after we did. Second the Techinician Gabriel was rude and driving our vehicle of the racks he peeled out. The customer service rep at the register Maribel has no patience and no experience according to he she treated us.
