Eco Tree NW contacted me at my request for an estimate to either remove or prune a plum tree that was in need of attention. Their response was swift and within 24 hours an estimator was at our location providing a bid for the services I requested. After some consideration we decided to go ahead and remove the tree as there was extensive damage to it. The crew showed up within 2 days and two hours later the tree was cut and removed, the stump was ground out and the site was clean. I cant say enough how professional the crew was. This is the kind of business I choose to support !

Extremely satisfied with my Eco Tree Northwest experience. I had a complex project in mind. Nick visited, thought it was all doable, and emailed me a very reasonable estimate the next day. I sustained a serious injury 3 days before job was to be done. Nick returned on project day for a walk thru with Jim, the crew chief and my daughter, to make sure everything was clear. Then the magic began. Pruning lower dead branches from evergreens down the driveway and raised the overhang to 14 feet. Then the big bucket truck rolled in. They pruned low dead branches on 4 more evergreens, pruned a plum tree taller then my two story house and reduced height about 30%. Took down 2 large cherry trees close to front of house. Cut back a Madrona branch that crossed over driveway. Cut down 5 medium maples and lastly cut two large sections of a maple. One that grew over top a storage unit across a path and into a hillside of Rhododendrons. The other was touching the side of the house. On that section one man was on the garage roof with a chainsaw on a pole. He cut the branch. The second man was on the roof above the tree. He held the branch then pulled it up on the roof and took it away. Absolutely amazing. Then of course all was chipped, raked and blown. Everything completed in 6 hours. I am so happy! What a great team. My Thanks to all of you.

We are very pleased with EcotreeNW. We called one day, they came out the next and the following day they came in with a 7 person crew do work on 4 trees. Removed one tree, ground the stump, and performed crown thinning on 3 others. Very meticulous work, including their clean-up. They were friendly and seemed to take pride in their work. Ecotree did two jobs for us in the past year. The first was a difficult one in that it called for coordination with both electrician and city electric company to drop cables before removing fir. Ecotree was very helpful in working around the more limited schedule of the city electric company and being flexible. Ecotree did a superb job, leaving a 10ft stump to create habitat for birds and insects - Alex was very creative with chain saw in creating cuts to open up parts of stump and leave things looking aesthetically pleasing. The second job was to prune a fir that had already been topped by the city to keep it clear of power cables. Ecotree made it look better and trimmed branches to provide more light for the garden - nice work by Alex. Nice work by James on pruning two camellias recovering from a heavy prune two years ago. We like the companys approach and work and recommend them highly.

These guys are all so wonderful. I had Nick help me trim one tree last fall, so gave them a call for this larger job. They cut down a huge hemlock and did a very good job trimming way back on a maple and lilac, and another hemlock and a wonderful shaping job on a dogwood. Jim, the owner gave me the estimate which I thought was reasonable for all they would be doing.Trey was the job manager. He was so friendly and answered all my questions and more. Gave me advice for my other trees, and for coming back to shape the maple as it comes forth again so it doesnt turn into a huge ball of leaves. He really knows a lot about his business.The two helpers were great also. They were done when they said they would be and it was especially nice, really did a superb job of cleaning up all of the branches, leaves and debris before they left. Looked a lot better than before they came! I asked an they were able to do 14 rounds instead of the usual 18 which really helped giving away the wood since a lot of stoves are smaller these days. We needed a few trees trimmed and a very large tree removed from our property. The owner came by and gave us a lot of good information about what needed to be done and even looked at our other trees to give us an idea of which were good and what needed to be left alone. They were on time the day of the removals, very professional and even finished early, which was great since we needed to have our power dropped for one of the trimmings. We feel like their prices were very reasonable and we had a great experience. Highly recommended!

These guys are awesome. We had a tree limb fall through our roof during that crazy snow we had in February. They came out the same day that I called and said they could take the limb out and put a shingle patch to prevent water from getting inside. The crew came out within 2 hours and did an incredible job.We have some huge Douglas Firs that needed to be groomed. Of course Eco Tree Northwest was the only choice for us. I had a large dying Birch tree between my house and a neighbors house, maybe only 20, with an equidistant fence. The boys showed up on time ready to go. After safety precautions,dude shimmied up the tree and bit by bit It came down. As requested by me, they left a 6 stump for my happy wee woodpeckers. Houses, fence and my beloved garden was safe. Only reason they didnt get a five star was because they didnt bring me breakfast.........hint, hint 😉GIL

We had a fantastic experience with EcoTree. They had a last minute cancellation and were able to bump cutting 5 trees in our backyard up a week. They were quick and incredibly considerate. Tried to set up time for an estimate with them. They said they would send someone out to do an estimate between 10 and 1. 1 comes along and nobody shows up so I called to see what was going on and they said they didnt call to let to let me know they couldnt show up the day they said they would. I took the day off to be here when they said they would and they didnt even have to courtesy to call or send an email letting me know they wouldnt be here.

I was very pleased with the quick response and the short time it too to complete the job. There was on my part some miscommunication on the grinding of the complete stump. I have no issues at all for the professional way everything was completed. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

We called Eco Tree to see if they had free wood chips. We expected wood chips like what we already have in our garden. Instead, we got a huge load of branches, greeh boughs and needles and a few chips. They told my 67-year-old husband he could rake out the branches and pine needles. Well, he tried, and its not that easy! But the company refuses to pick up the load they dumped in our driveway. Ill never call upon them for any tree-related service!

EcoTree NW does A+ work. We have had them at our property several times over the last couple years. Their service, communication, professionalism sets the bar for GREAT customer satisfaction.I have watched other companies show up at neighbors homes and quote cheaper prices, then when it comes time to do the work, they are smoking the entire time, have no PPE, leave a mess, and have crude site language.EcoTree has always been the opposite. I needed my giant Redwood limbed up to get away from my power line and get daylight back to the front of my house. The crew was great to work with. This is how all contractors should be, wow.The reviews for this company are almost too good to be true and set off my fake review alarms but Ive seen their trucks around the area doing work so I figured they must be legit. From start to finish they have been one of the best contractor experiences I have had.We had them out to remove 6 Cyprus trees that formed a hedge. The estimator/crew lead was on time, and gave a fair price. They also showed up on time for the job, listened to my wife on how big to cut the rounds, where to put them, and answered some general questions about their chain saws without talking down to her. Special care was taken to use plywood sheets to protect some nearby apple trees that we had just planted this year. Finally the rounds were stacked neatly and most of the shavings cleaned up. I highly recommend this company.

It was a miserable day with a high wind warning and rain, but the team turned up on time and extremely efficiently took down my giant oak tree. They protected the side of my house, cleaned up along the way and afterward, and left the rounds of wood neatly on the side of the lawn. They did a first class job and I highly recommend them. Jim and his crew did a wonderful job removing a dead tree from my property recently. They arrived right in the middle of the time slot and got to work immediately. They moved quickly and prevented damage to all the surrounding shrubs and such, even though they were danger close to the work being done. Hired these folks to trim a 50 year old Ginko tree that was a little out of control. The crew did their work quickly and helped coordinate with the local utility company to drop the power lines while they did their work. Eco Tree removed 5 large pines and 3 smaller trees in my backyard. The crew worked really effectively as a team. They were careful not to damage surrounding landscape or sprinklers. Stumps were cut down as low to the ground as possible and all branches were removed immediately. They blew all areas before they left and cleaned up all debris. Based on experiences with other companies I had expected some damage but I can honestly say (5 days later), there was none. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them and plan on having them do maintenance of other trees.

This is my third time hiring EcoTree, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. We live on two-thirds of a wooded acre and had Jim out for an estimate in late summer, to make sure our trees could withstand the coming fall storms. Jim identified a tree that was five stories tall yet in trouble because carpenter ants had hollowed out a good three feet at the base. We had the crew out and ended up removing 11 trees, including a completely unwanted leland cypress and a massive holly tree that squatted like a black cloud over our driveway. Once they sliced up that massive hollow tree, we could see from the holes in the trunk what trouble we were in for. I’m convinced such a tiny investment saved a whole wing of our house from being crushed!In addition to a fair estimate, Jim had left time for the crew to do additional work “as directed.” Crew Chief Nick’s communication skills are superb. He instantly grasped everything I was asking, communicated it accurately to his crew, and in a few brief hours completely transformed our yard into beauty and enhanced curb appeal. Everyone on the crew was courteous, efficient, and frequently ran to accomplish tasks. What hustle!Our overgrown yard, neglected for years before we moved in, will probably require at least an annual visit from EcoTree. I cannot speak more highly of Jim Folger (owner/arborist) at EcoTreeNW and his crew. We needed to have a 125 foot Western Hemlock taken out of our front yard due to internal damage and disease. Jim came out and provided an in-depth assessment of the tree’s health and determined that the tree wasn’t healthy enough to keep. (This was the same conclusion the other three companies I had out for estimates also stated.) The contract process and scheduling went smoothly – Nava, the scheduler was terrific! EcoTreeNW’s bid was also the cheapest which was a bonus! On the day of the job (12/31/18), the crew arrived on time and were all courteous and professional. They took care to park in a way that still allowed for traffic to pass safely and with respect to my neighbor’s property. The crew leader, Nick McCormick, along with Alex (climber), Darrin, Omar, and Tyler (worked on the ground and with the chipper) all worked effectively, efficiently, and safely. Our wooden fence that surrounded the tree was protected with PVC pipe along the top and with plywood next to the fence. We suffered zero fence damage due to the excellent branch management system of the crew. They used a mix of tossing lighter weight branches to the chipper and used a rope system to lower larger/heavier branches. There was minimal under-story damage. For the small breaks that did occur, the crew pruned off the damaged parts. The cleanup following the tree removal was incredibly complete and even included the majority of the sawdust! I have already recommended EcoTreeNW to two other families and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of tree work. They did a superb job! THANK YOU!

The job; to remove a 40+ yr. old cedar tree that was originally 3 that had grown together. The challenge; to avoid the deck, roof, gutters and bushes close to the tree. The result; limbs were chipped, log rounds cut, stump ground, ground raked, deck and surrounding area left clean. We opted to keep the wood and will use the grindings. Work was done promptly and professionally. Would highly recommend them!

Having to remove a tree is right up there with a root canal or getting your brakes replaced - not something to look forward to. However, the Eco-Tree team, lead by superb arborist Jim, scheduler Nava, team leader Nick and human-spider-monkey Alex made the entire experience relatively painless.Eco-Tree NW was by far the highest recommended and least-costly service. They handled a difficult extraction with care, professionalism and follow-through, and my neighbor and I enjoyed watching Alexs aerial gymnastics a hundred feet up a leaning pine, knowing that it was worth every penny NOT to be doing what he was handling with such evident experience.Being overly duly-diligent and having over 30 years experience in bidding myself, I went out for quite a few quotes on this project. If you gotta have this done, these are the folks to have do it. As with finding an excellent periodontist or brake mechanic, I hope to NEVER need their services again... but if I do, theyll certainly get the call.

Recently I watched as EcoTreeNW worked removing a tree from a neighbor. Watching the crews attention to detail, work and clean up sealed the deal for me to receive a quote for work. I called, scheduled an appointment and Jim (the owner) stopped by and worked a detailed estimate to have 3 of my trees pruned and two (in bad shape) trees removed.EcoTreeNW team showed up on time and scheduled date where I met the team working on my trees Nick and Nick! The team lead (1st) Nick did a thorough walk through going over the estimate and work I was expecting. He verified the work area and where he could stage his equipment, the professionalism was outstanding!During the work I was notified once when a there may have been an issue with the yard (thankfully it was nothing) and before and after that the crew did their magic.We did a final walk-through where I was able to ask specific questions on best practices for the maintenance of my trees and verify completed work. As with my neighbor, a detailed cleanup was done to include the public cud-de-sac area that did get some wind-blown debris. I made payment and believe I got a great deal with a great local company.I highly recommend looking at EcoTreeNW for any tree work you may need.
