This place was amazing! I was impressed from the moment they answered the phone. I called maybe 10 different shops, and by far they had the best customer service. Very honest, and informative. Will be coming back for all my vehicle needs.

I normally dont take time to leave reviews but Dan Fast definitely deserves this one. They were able to not only assess my vehicle, but make the repair within a few hours. On top of that they threw in a free exhaust tip and beat the price I was quoted up front by 20% due to some parts of the job going easier than they expected. I was also given free advice on another auto issue I am having that I mentioned when wrapping up the transaction. What more could you ask for out of auto repair than dependable, timely and honest service. These guys understand the value of underpromising and overdelivering. Will definitely be using them for future repair needs.

Thieves tried to jack my catalytic converter cutting halfway through the muffler pipe when they must have been scared off (my alarm possibly). Jeff, Jay and Darnell took care of me the next day by welding it up. I guess I got lucky it could have cost $1200.00 They didnt even charge me. They now have a customer for life as well as my friends and family.Im going to have them install a Cat Strap and Cat Eye Anti-theft system to prevent future attempts.Thank you so much guys. We needed a quick spot weld on our motorhome’s exhaust before traveling home 65 miles away. Jay took the stress out of our situation saying to just bring it in. When we arrived the motorhome was immediately in the shop and up on a lift. We were there around 15 minutes and the price was right! So grateful Dan Fast Muffler was recommended to us!

Ive been a happy customer at Jeffs Auto Repair in Lynnwood for many years, but they arent set up to replace exhaust systems. They recommended Dan Fast to me when my catalytic converter died. Excellent choice! The guys at Dan Fast took my van right into a bay, and I had an estimate within 10 minutes. The price was better than I expected, which is always a plus for me. They gave me a ride home and picked me up again when the van was ready 2 hours later--exactly as promised. The results were amazing. The van is purring like a kitten, and theres still money in my pocket. Highly recommended!

I was charged for 2 catalytic converters. At $885 each and 2 years later I find out that they didnt replace either one! When they took out the engine to replace it, they cut the exhaust pipes and didnt bother to unbolt it properly. They also took out some of the insulation that blocks the road noise and didnt put it back. They are not trustworthy.

The work done was ok, I suppose I expected better, but the price I paid for labor and parts for a muffler swap was too much.I brought my own muffler in, paid for two 15-16 pipes & hangers for $120, with labor at $180. To compare; Ive had a single-to-dual conversion catback exhaust installed (cut, bent, welded) on another car with more pipes at half the cost elsewhere, too far to return there since it was back in the Kitsap area.I wish I shopped around for quotes, but the nearest shop (Brodys) was 3 weeks out, perhaps because theyre cheaper for parts/labor? I didnt have weekday time to go shop to shop for quotes, there was no wait at Dans Saturday morning, so I just did it. Will I go back for future work, no. Asking the cost for a simple resonator delete, they said $120, on online forums, others paid nearly half that ($68).

I came in for a brake inspection and I sincerely appreciate their approach to pro-actively replacing more than just pads. I trusted their advice to replace the calipers and rotors based on the uneven wear. A lot of brake shops would just ignore that and get you out the door faster. These guys went all the way, even at the end of the week. Thanks!

Id like to thank the team at Dan Fast in Lynnwood/Edmonds for the great job they did installing a new exhaust on my 1970 Cougar XR7! Headers fitted along with Magnaflow stainless mufflers and full exhaust and tips. They also installed upgraded StopTech front rotors, new calipers and brake lines along with new EBC pads (parts supplied by myself). In addition they replaced leaking rear axle seals and bearings and rebuilt the rear brakes. A few other items were also installed including front wheel bearings, spring perches/isolators and front shocks also supplied by myself.Jay, Jeff, Brandon and Darnell all have my gratitude for their great customer service and care in making sure everything was done to perfection!I would highly recommend Dan Fast and this team for your car mods/repairs! Job well done!!!

Love this place! Brandon totally saved the day when my car died right in front their shop on Hwy 99...during rush hour traffic! He was able to jump my car and get it into their parking lot and fixed it right then and there just as they were about to close up for the night. I am so grateful and will recommend them to everyone I know!

I visited the Lynnwood, washington shop to repair a rotted out exhaust system (cat converter and tail pipe). This shop was absolutely outstanding.They identified faulty repair work that was completed more than six years ago. They also installed the correct factory compliant parts and billed me for much less than I was charged in 2013.

I had some cutouts and mufflers put on my 64 Nova. They are not inexpensive but do excellent work. Fitment and welds are very well done. Would definitely recommend.

Watch out for the upsell. This is a common ploy to increase their profit.I was shopping around for a muffler replacement and originally quoted $275 but when they had it up on a lift, they said the exhaust system needed new pipes, ramping up the cost to $450. I found a shop elsewhere and it cost me $150 for the job.That was all I needed, no more no less.Shop around and beware of additional work they deem required and that applies to other shops. Good luck.

I highly recomend these guys. Honest, Fair & Competent. They will always give you the straight scoop and they do excellent work. When my previous mechanic of 20 years retired I found these guys and they have been my go to for the past three. When something comes up they are always my first call.

I went there to get an estimate for my 1990 Chevy pickup. The manager wouldnt quote me an exact price but when I pressed him he said it would be about $ 800.00, not including the catalytic converter. Then he patted himself on the back about what a great job they do there and that I would never find a lower estimate. I did at Airport Welding in Snohomish. They quoted me $745.00 including the catalytic converter, and stuck to it. No hidden fees or charges.

Wow! Ive been going here for about 4 years and their service and knowledge is phenomenal. I work on my cars so when I have to take it to a shop, its really bad. They just extract 2 broken suspension bolts that had broken ez out tap. They got everything done without over charging.They are honest and upfront! I highly recommend this place and I am very glad that this shop is near where I live.

Every experience I have with these guys increases my trust in their integrity and competence.

Had a few good experiences with them but took car in to fix an issue, paid a hefty amount and the problem was the same afterward. Was told they could try something else for more money of course, but they had no problem taking a lot of money for making no perceivable difference. Not sure ownership would approve of their employees practice but I never returned and Id advise others to steer clear.

I cant say enough great things about Greg and his team at Dan Fast. Greg, Jason, Jeff and David actually rescued us from a bad situation with another muffler shop that did terrible exhaust work. We were searching out someone who could help us that would not threaten us if we had a complaint or questions.We went into Gregs shop with our 71 Chevelle having a bad exhaust leak, cheap exhaust pipe that was bent incorrectly, smashed exhaust pipe, shoddy welding, no hangers installed, pipe hanging 4 too low and simply resting over the rear axle.Greg took the time to bring us in and show us what it would take to correct what had been done to us by the other shop. There was no going back to the other shop. When Greg and his team were finished I had brand new headers, Rimflex gaskets, mufflers, NICE exhaust pipe, painted welds, hangers, chrome tips the works! Greg was always available to us for questions or concerns. Always came to the phone, always helpful and a great attitude. They even changed my oil and fixed my power steering belt at no extra charge.I would encourage anyone out there with a high performance vehicle, or your economy car, go see Greg and his guys before you go anywhere else. Believe me when I tell you, Greg and his team know what they are doing. They will take care of you.Thank you to Greg, Jason, Jeff and David for all you did for us.

I took my 2002 Saturn LW300 to them because my catalytic converter was completely clogged. I was going to shop around but was stuck because my car died on the way there. I wish I towed it to the Sonnys Auto Repair in Shoreline, they were about $500 cheaper. The crew at Dans was nice but they charge excessive pricing for their parts. The same parts on Amazon or OReily Auto Parts for about $500. They charged me $1,080 plus 2 hours to install for $1,250. They gave me a verbal quote while I was there but forgot to mention tax which bumped it up to a total of $1,400. If I had towed it to Sonnys, it would have been far less, including the cost for towing.Dont get me wrong, they were cool guys and did a good job installing, but their mark up on pricing is highway robbery. Some mark up is fine but over twice the price is crazy. I wont go back there again.

Went in as a couple to have a damaged drive train/line and catalytic converter fixed after being targeted by a hack saw chop. Dan Fast went above and beyond to get our only car in functioning order again.

I called up Dans yesterday to see if they could help me out with a bad coupler that had been giving me grief for some time on my New Beetle exhaust system (3 Stainless Turbo back).Walt told me to come on down and they would throw it on the lift to see if they could tack it togeather with a few welds.Showed up, Walt had my car lifted and they not only fixed the coupler (had been installed backwards) but also tacked it for good measure. (took 15 minutes)Once my car was off the lift, I reached in to grab my wallet and Walt told me to not worry about it.This was at 2PM, and the shop looked pretty busy.I will definitely be using Dans for any other problems for my car in the future.

I had work done in the past at Dans. I came for a quote on a muffler. The rough looking guy at the front counter had no interest in helping me out. He said they were busy and his guys were going to lunch. I said thank you and left. Never going back.

Used carsalesmen work there. always trying to get you hooked up with their service.been there few times in the past and every time i walked out disappointed.i was refered to them by few local repair shops but it seems they are only friendly with businesses not customers.i act as i dont know what im talking about and watch them try to pull a fast one on me every time.at first they act like they dont know what im talking about then they try to tell me to bring the car in so they can charge me 150 dollars for a 5 minute job( yes thats exactly how long it took me to do it in my own garage last time)in short, this place sucks, they try to badmouth other shops they try to get your car in the shop so they can upsell you on unnecessary stuff, and once they see that you know whats goin on they quickly disperse into the depths of the shop and ignore you... shady place...meanwhile, buckys, brodys, and meineke, were very friendly and tried their best to help me thumbs up for those 3 places, even though they were not able to help me they did their best unlike this shop

I was quoted a price. When I picked up my vehicle, the price had doubled. I asked to talk to the store managers boss and the store manager threatened to call the police if I did not leave.
