What they doing here is a blessing, and I am happy to help them get some funds in July for my event... on July 27th at Brooklyn boulders for my dance competitions...and at half way, I will be Announcing the amount and given them a check to support these kiddos then need beds to sleep on... I had a meeting with Tina, super nice and beautiful lady. Giving her all to do for these families. Doing everything possible to help.

If you are Hispanic, you are treated with dignity and much care. You will be able to receive any item you like. If you are any other nationality, you must go in alone, and you can take only what they allow you. It is a prime example of reverse discrimination. And yet it is allowed.....there seems to be no oversight whatsoever.

Years ago I was a single dad with 2 daughters. The coalition was extremely generous and helpful when I got my first apartment in 1996. I still have a really nice chair and a chest of drawers they gave me.Great people, great furniture!!!

Few years back i needed help and as they did let me get a couch and not of my choice they wont give ne a mattress for me or my daughter because things were in the way and they didnt want to move the stuff. Then I sat in parking lot just lost for a while wonder about how me and my kid was gonna sleep. some other women was filling her truck with mattresses. I couldnt do anything but sit there and cry. So yeah they just are not all about helping everyone.

Tina was the most amazing host. As a team, we had the most memorable time.

I was misplaced, due to an emergency evacuation of my apartment and all m belongings were destroyed. i managed to get an appointment for the furniture bank two months after i moved into my new place. At the appointment i was told my aunt could not come into the furniture room. i just saw a hispanic man and women go in together and i questioned why? he says they are married... okay whatever... so i go in look around, they didnt have many options, alot if things had paper taped on there that read Taken i really needed and wanted a desk and couch. i saw a sectional that would have fit nicely into my living room an could have doubled as a bed since I didnt have one for myself or my kid. i asked if it was taken and the guy said no gives me the clipboard to have me sign that i took something... then he goes to the front to get the other hispanic guy to ask if he thinks it would fit in my cargo van( uhaul). the guy says Ive seen this plenty of times its just not gonna fit and we have spent so much time with you (15min) your gonna have to quickly pick another. i said i really like this couch could i take as much sections that can fit and come back for the rest in a half hour. he said no thats not how we work you have to take all or none...(but theres 10 different items with taken attached 🤔) i said i understand i will reschedule my appointment and come with something bigger to transport it. he says it may not be here and the next appointment is a month away and if you take something you cant come back. so i ended up paying for a $77 uhaul for NOTHING ....word of advice ... go to a goodwill, SAVERS or save up to buy each piece of furniture that you need... maybe if your hispanic you can get the hook up other than that dont bother its a waste of time and they are funny business. i went 5 years ago prior to this and got the same treatment! Its definitely not a coincidence
