My car experienced a busted thermostat housing and began to overheat. I had it towed to mikes and they had it fixed in just about a day. Great service, very fast. I would use them again if need be.

Mike was great! I was having clutch issues and had to get my car towed to him. My car is now running smoothy and I don’t feel like I got ripped off my another dishonest mechanic. Fair prices and quality work!

He did a great job on our boat trailer. Due to completing a job we pushed & imposed upon him (his shop is primarily autos only), we felt the $400 was a high cost. However, he did a great job, put our repair ahead of others, & we learned to ask for repair costs before job completion.

I never write reviews... However I feel compelled to write a review about this business. Since the Storm we all have been put in a bad spot one way or another dealing with repairs and people not keeping their word. Not here! It is an absolute pleasure to work with Mike and his team. They did an exemplary job on my truck repairs, it looked better than new. Two days after I picked it up somebody in Walmart decided to hit that same area I had repaired with a shopping cart. Very disappointed, I brought it back to Mike just asking how much to have it repaired again. Mike said dont worry about it he would take care of it! There is are reasons why this company is Best in Bay! I highly recommend this business... I would NEVER take my vehicle to any other repair shop! Keep up the great work.

Had an oil light coming on with oil to the fill mark. Ended up being the oil sender unit, a sensor. They saved me some money I totally reccomend them!

Called Mike because my daughter slammed my car door and I could not open it. Mike said to bring the car down now and he would look at it. My daughter took the car to him and he got the door open it didnt take more than 10 minutes. He changed and very small amount I will bring all my vehicles to him.

I cant thank mike enough for how helpful and honest he was with me. The work I needed done on my car was originally quoted at $400, but Mike was able to fix it for only $75. Other shops wouldve kept their mouths shut and made a quick dollar. I truly appreciate his integrity and will take my car back for any further work!

I was quoted a price of $75 for labor for changing front brake pads. Then I get a call that he had to send one router somewhere to be turned and the price will be $100. Calls me back to pick it up and says the guy charged him more to do it so my price will be $125. I paid him $100 because that’s all I had. My husband wanted a receipt to see what the charges were. Mike didn’t give me a receipt. When I called him back to ask about the charges he said the router was difficult for him to get off and he wouldn’t tell me what his guy charged to turn it. He said he was at the doctor’s office and would call me back. He never called back. We needed repairs done on two other cars..major repairs of which he could take his time doing. He lost our business for being so unprofessional. He should have called first to ask if it was ok to pay someone else to turn the router. A mechanic should never just assume the customer is ok with him doing extra work if it wasn’t discussed beforehand. A reputable business would also give you a receipt and return phone calls to make sure you got the answers you needed. I give him zero stars and would not recommend anyone taking their car to him..unless you want to have additional repairs done without your permission, and not get a receipt to show what you paid. He only takes cash as payment too..I bet that’s a big red flag to the IRS.

I had my toyota sienna in Mikes place the other day n he point out my cars problem by visual inspection no need of computer diagnosis like some big name auto shop he had my cars shock changed in 30 mins while the other hot shot mechanic told me it maybe axle n I probably need to go to the dealer thanks Mike the best in town

I have used Mikes Auto repair in Lynn Haven for years. He has always been honest, efficient and kind to my family and I. He has literally done all kind of stuff for me.. From simple jobs like hubs and brakes to electrical issues and air conditioner problems. I have never once been over charged and have always paid by check (saw earlier post saying he only takes cash- thats absolutely not correct.) With that said, Mike communicates great with me. If there is a problem, he calls. If there is another issue, he calls. Ive got a few cars.. Suburu, Nissan Armada 4x4, Silverado z 71, Toyota Prius and a Hyundai Sonata. He has literally maintained every one of them without any issue. AS a matter of fact.. My armada squeeked like a pig. I thought for sure my ball joints were going out. I took it to him expecting to pay around $600 + easy (I looked up the cost of parts.) He called me.. Said the squeeking was a bunch of mud and dirt in the grommets / rubber. He lubricated and sent me on my way. Crazy.. A car repair shop that doesnt milk you for every last dime. I was very happy to save that $600. I grew up in the internet era.. I look up parts and prices when given a quote. Mike NEVER has one time overcharged me and has always given me a receipt even though I dont ever do anything but throw them away.Another example of service that really pushed me to write this review... I heard a weird slapping noise in my Nissan Armada. I stopped, popped the hood and saw the belt starting to shred. I drove it to his shop at 6:45 pm last night even though I was sure he was gone. I was just going to drop it off and ride home with my wife. He was still there working. I asked him if hed fix it for me and he stopped what he was doing, called the parts house right then, ran over and picked up the belt and put it on for me. I honestly do not think there is another shop in Panama City that would do that.As far as Judy Wheelers negative review.. I was actually baffled by her comments. ANY other shop would have told you to buy new rotors rather than saving you money and getting them turned.. I am certain of that. Maybe he should have called you but would you have told him no? I mean.. Would you rather him put the new brake pads on warped rotors? Youve got this guy doing the brakes.. The part of the car that literally saves you from an accident every single time in the car.. As a matter of fact.. It seems that you got out the door super cheap for a brake job. You literally attacked this guys business over $25. Come on now.. Most shop labor prices START at $100 an hour..In closing, Mike has always done right by me and my family. I have no relation to him other than being a customer. I would highly recommend his shop and I personally will continue to use him. Take that for what it is.. A real review.. With real life experiences.
