In the past I have always trashed a non working TV.Im so glad to be able to find this guy.Very responsive, professional and knowledgeable in his field.I know TV s have dropped in price so much, but his fees are reasonable for the work he does.

A few months ago I got my TV fixed by Rick. He was fast and honest. He’s straight to the point, if he doesn’t know for sure, he will do everything to figure it out and fix it. I will definitely go back to him with any other issues I have in the future.

Had an LG TV repaired here after the picture went from dark spots to completely out. My TV wasnt displaying anything anymore and its an older LG 1080p HD 3D TV that runs at 240 hz, anyway, I LOVE this TV and wanted to keep it because 3D tvs arent made anymore and I have 3d movies and the 240 hz makes sports look incredibly crisp. I decided to call Doctronics and talked to the owner Rick. Rick was such a nice guy and told me he could fix it. Since its a 55 TV, it was too heavy to bring into his store. Rick told me he could come to me and gave me a huge discount to come to my house. It ended up being the motherboard in the TV, which Rick removed and took to his store to repair it. He repaired it and came back to my house, reinstalled the motherboard and we turned it on and it worked!! Picture looked as good as the day I bought it!!! I was considering a 4k tv but the price Rick charged to repair my tv made it a no brainer. If you need a tv repaired, do yourself a favor and call Doctronics. I had a shelf collapse and rip the HD antenna jack out of my TV. My tv has really great picture and very full sound without the need for a sound bar or other speakers. If you have issues with your Tv I highly recommend giving Rick a call. One night my new Sony TV was working, and the next night I was getting no power to it. Called Rick, and he got me into his shop the next day, diagnosed within an hour, and repaired within a couple of days (had to order a motherboard). There is the question whether to repair a TV or buy a new, updated TV, since the prices are so competitive today, and changes are occurring rapidly. Rick was completely knowledgeable in explaining reasons for my Plasma repair, and quality of the TV. He gave me option to save $100 with a repaired ‘board’. I opted for new. The first part he received he found defective and called to advise it would take a little extra time to get new part. Repair was still complete in 3 days. About 2 years ago, I also experienced from Rick when a repair would not be cost effective. Professional and honest businessman.

They tried to get us to purchase another TV from them. When I asked to have my TV returned they asked why. Something just did not feel right. I have an 80 inch sharp that was not turning on and called for help. Very impressed with the outcome. Could have told me anything as I know nothing about repairing a TV. He explained it was either one or the other and one was expensive the other not as bad. First time in my life that it ended up being the cheaper option!

We lost our TV, cable, Internet and phone due to a lightning strike. My husband, Bill, researched TV repair, as we did not want to buy a new TV. Bill found Doctronics. We brought the TV to Rick and he diagnosed the problem while we waited. Due to not having the part at his shop, he had to order the “motherboard”. I had a 2008 LG plasma TV that stopped working. I had done an internet search and Rick showed up under Doctronics with great ratings. Though I would give him a try and see. I was not sorry that I did. Within 15 minutes he diagnosed the problem in the power supply. He tried to find a part in his shop that would work, but unfortunately did not have one. He ordered what was needed and had it fixed within the week. GREAT service at a very, very reasonable rate. One thing you should know is that his shop is in the back behind the stores facing the main highway. His sign is in his window vertically. I drove by it a couple times before I spotted it. That may have just been me looking for a bigger sign. Its not hard to find and well worth it. I am from Spring Hill and highly recommend anyone and everyone to give him your be a business.

My experience with other electronic repair shops has been I drop off my device, never hearing back or getting any updates, then pick up my device a week later. This was the complete opposite experience with Doctronics. Rick helped me take my TV inside, was able to diagnose the problem literally within seconds of opening the back panel, and fixed it while I waited. From diagnosis, repair, testing, and payment it took less than 30 mins. Im extremely satisfied with the repair and will be referring friends and family here as well.

I explained the problem with my tv he said I know the problem he quoted me a price and did say now if that is not the issue I may cost more.I took my tv in not only did we have great conversation he fixed my baby while I waited. He has a sign that says something like yes it may have took me 30 minutes to fix your tv but you are not paying for minutes you are paying for my experience and not for minutes and I have to say I totally agree. Amazing service! I called and spoke with Rick about whether it was worth the 80 minute drive and expense to bring my Samsung 59” plasma TV to him. He assured me it was definitely worth it. A few days later I was able to bring it down expecting to just drop it off for evaluation.I was quite pleased when Rick asked me to wait a few minutes and he would know if it could be fixed. Then it got even better, he was able to fix it while I waited for about 20 mins and at a very fair price. No having to make another trip to pick it up. Rick was great. As an preferred LG repair shop I called when my 65 UHD TV would not power on. Rick was quick to diagnose the issue and even recommended contacting LG even though it was out of warranty. LG ultimately did not cover it. Rick was very helpful in getting my LG Oled tv fixed. Recommended getting in touch with LG and requesting an out of warranty service, (which surprisingly they did) and got a replacement panel which would have cost me $1200. TV is now working properly and hopefully will for considerable future.
