We have used Parnell Pool and Spas for some time now. They have always went above and beyond to take care of our pool needs. We just had a new liner and pump installed. From the start to the finish was flawless. All professionals from the front of house to the workers on my property! Thank you for making our pool beautiful again!

Very friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff, and all their installers and technicians are as well. Great company been dealing with them for over the last 10 years, and will continue with them all for years to come.

Food was good. They were understaffed but the wait to be seated, place order and get food was not long. Shrimp and grits are really good.

Store had alot of items in stock. staff was very helpful. Prices were cheaper at store for what I wanted to buy, than online.

The only pool supply in town, but pretty good customer service

This is a follow up to a review I left a few years ago that has yet to me completed. It has been 3 years and my pool sits incomplete. The concrete was never fixed and the trim between the coping and the pool was never installed. They offered to cover the surface with a EPOXY however that would just add to the annual upkeep costs of the pool so I told them forget it just come and install the trim piece and that has been over 2 years ago. I followed up again a couple weeks ago through email and have not received a response But the last time I left a negative review I did get a response so hopefully this will generate something from Doug or someone on his team. All I am asking is that someone come out and install the trim piece between the coping and the fireglass pool. And if youre considering putting in a inground pool make sure you shop around because this business is extremely unreliable.

The folks here have always taken care of me. Answering questions from a first time pool owner, helping me order supplies and test my water, and generally being a great resource to call on.

I had a true tile liner pool installed about 15 years ago by a local company in Raleigh NC they did a terrible job! I have had problems every since. When it came time to replace the liner I did not want to use the same terrible company that installed the pool. I found a different pool company to replace the liner. They said that they had installed true tile liners before! Come to find out this company hired the same person who had installed my original pool! Well he had NOT got any better! The new liner did NOT fit!I talked to Latham pool company, the company that makes the liner, and they said Parnell Pools was very good! When Parnell’s people came to do the job I was very please! They were very knowledgeable and professional, they did not take any short cuts and worked very hard to get the job done right! They measured the liner and new liner fit like a glove!I have had the bad luck of working with 2 very unprofessional pool companies that all they were interested in was making money!Parnell pools and their staff are a company that l am very happy to recommend to anyone who wants to have a professional, trouble free pool installation!

Find Nick and do what he says! Our pool cleared up immediately and looks fantastic after bringing in our water sample and following the step by step instructions to get it back in shape and keep it at its best. Friendly, prompt service is all youll get here ;)

It’s crazy how small this world is, me and my husband needed some wiring redone in our home and some outlets and switches redone also so we took to a small app that was referred to us by a former employee by the name of “Handyman Pro” to find someone to do this job for a reasonable cost, so we listed the job and come to find out the person who accepted the job was a former employee who worked for Parnell and was just hired on recently I got a chance to meet the young man when he came out with the other service technician. Such a kind, caring, and bright young man, he was informative about the things he did learn in the meeting we had, he was eager to learn, he was very respectful and hard working, I could really tell he loved what he did. What made him even more special was the fact that he told me he wanted to make enough money to help his wife open up her own bakery, I only met him once, but his personality and drive made it feel like I’ve known him a while, I could’ve used my actual name to write this review but I’m pretty sure once it’s read the company will know which client I am, because it was not too long ago they changed my sand and motor, maybe about 1-2 weeks ago. Most employers would’ve just gave the employee warnings, or suspension not flat out dismiss the person. I hope he does find something better soon, and I hope he flourishes in life, I cannot help but feel for this particular employee, only because ones like him are hard to come by. Coming from loyal client/customer do better Parnell, I love your services but it starts with your employees, without good employees you won’t have a functioning atmosphere.

We were having so much trouble with getting our pool cleared(green to the max). We took a water sample to Parnell and within one week we are clear and ready to swim. They told us exactly what to do and sold us chemicals that the price is comparable to Amazon.The staff is so friendly and helpful. No charge at all for a water sample.

I have had my pool for several years, and I have been a loyal customer, but today, a conversation with one of the employees has made me question why I have been such a loyal customer and what my options are now. My advice to anyone who is thinking about getting a pool is to research it carefully and ask lots of questions. They dont tell you how expensive chemicals are, how your bill will increase substantially during the summer months, that the motor may stop working, that the vacuum will stop working, that you will need a new liner in 5 to 10 years, or that you may even have to replace the entry steps to the pool, which is very expensive. The service charge for someone to come and check out the problem has increased. You get conflicting information about your pool, depending on which employee you speak to. If I knew when I bought my pool what I know now about a pool, pool maintenance, and chemicals, and expenses, I would never have gotten a pool. For the basically six months that you use it, it isnt worth it. And after being such a loyal customer for so many years, you would think you would be treated with respect when you call to inquire about a problem or about a pool closing. I was quite disappointed, and now I am left with what I will do since basically there are no other options in Lumberton.

Had just what I needed for my pool,Now its party time!

I normally don’t post reviews but I’m so displeased that I’m writing a review about my experience with this business. We bought a liner about 3 years ago the second year it started losing water..called got the run around about a entire year we are still trying to figure out the issue. They wanted to bust my concrete replace some gasket. I told the lady that it was losing too much water it has to be a bigger hole. Well they wanted me to mark it I did that. Well after about a year and the water going below all the returns they kept telling me to fill it back and they will run more test. The water went below the steps at this point she told us to fill it back up they will run more test. I finally told her I’m not I know its a hole somewhere to come drain it. Well they found a huge hole by a seam. Now they tell me it’s because of my PH balance that caused the hole and I have to get a new liner. The previous liner was there for over 10 years and we only replace it because it was old and we’ve haven’t changed the way we cared for the pool so why after a year or so into this new liner now it’s a PH issue that caused the hole. Now they said we were suppose to bring water samples well they didn’t tell us that when they sold the liner to us. Long story I will never use them ever again and don’t recommend them to anyone. If someone is thinking about getting a pool I don’t suggest using Parnell Pool in Lumberton. They don’t deserve a star but I don’t think I can do a review without rating them.

They have everything you need for your Pool equipment. The Ladies and The Mens are excellent in serving you. Very Friendly and Polite. I Recommend them very Highly.

They have everything but way to expensive.cheaper at walmart. And as they say their products are better well its hard to believe when they are the very same product. Brand name, packaging . Only parnells is much more expensive . I dont feel like Im throwing my money away at Walmart at all . I do however feel like Im giving my hard earned cash away at Parnells . Just for walking in the building
