I have been a loyal customer for quite a few years. Historical, “geeks” repair work as been good. However, the “girl behind the counter” is extremely rude, demeaning. Last time I was in, she flat out talked down to me like I was a child…because I didn’t have my mask on quite to her liking. I Make it a point to carry myself in a very professional manner & this was totally uncalled for.I have decided that I will “vote” with my money & have moved my business to Cell Phone Repair across the street.I discovered that Cell Phone Repair is very professional in their interactions with the public, have cheaper prices, and as good…if not better technical services.Thank you Cell Phone Repair!!!

6.22.20 at about 4:15 pm.I needed my iPhone screen repaired and called in to ask if someone can meet me outside. I explained that both my toddlers had fell asleep and didn’t want to leave them unattended in my vehicle. The staff simply said NO.During this pandemic, curbside pickup/drop off has become a necessity. That’s why I didn’t think it was a big deal even with having my cash payment ready.It was easy for them my to say no to $100+ so I took my money across the street. The gentleman there at CELLPHONE REPAIR was extremely friendly and did not mind stepping outside. BETTER PRICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ACROSS THE STREET.

Top notch. My iPhone charging port wasnt working due to dirt and dust. They had it cleaned up and working in less than five minutes and didnt even charge me. Great service.

Let me preface this by saying that the folks at Screen Geeks have been nothing but helpful and courteous during the entirety of this repair process. However, when it was all said and done, the repairs fixed one thing and broke several others. I would therefore recommend you AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.Our iPad Pro 11 screen replacement looks great, but the aftermarket display they installed has permanently disabled Face ID, the backbone of iPad security, and convenience. It also has disabled automatic brightness and other features related to the ambient light sensor.Worst of all, for an unexplained reason (I would assume it could only be because of the display), the battery discharges 5-10+ times faster than it used to, regardless of use. If we leave it in standby mode, it used to last a couple of weeks. Now it lasts about 24 hours.If we had it to do over again, we would have spent a little bit more and had the repair performed by an authorized Apple repair center.

I took my ipad in for battery replacement. I called to check on it on a Monday and was told that it was being worked on and would be ready in 15 minutes. Since I live an hour away, I told them I would make arrangements to pick it up the next day.When I arrived on Tuesday, the young woman at the front said it wasnt ready. I asked her to check again, because she had told me on the phone the day before that it would be ready in 15 minutes. I had made it clear that I lived out of town, but would puck it up the next day. The young woman would not answer my question as to why she had told me it was being worked on and would be ready in 15 minutes. She simply said, very cold and unemotionally, it isnt ready. The tech will be here at 2 today. Never once did she apologize. I couldnt believe how cold she was. I own two businesses and I would never have an employee like that.Needless to say, I took my ipad back, it had obviously NOT been touched yet. Now just waiting for my card to be credited, since I had to pay half down.I never write reviews, good or bad, but this thoughtless treatment infuriated me. I took my ipad to the very friendly folks across the street at Cellphone Repair.

Had battery replaced on S6 Edge. 1st battery they put in lasted a half day then the wouldnt hold a charge so phone wouldnt turn on. I went back and they nicked the screen putting in the second battery so waited a week for them to get the screen replaced. They gave me a loaner phone in the meantime. Got the phone back and now the battery life isnt any better and now I dont get very good cell service on text messages or mobile data. I appreciate them trying but just not a very good experience. The last conversation I had they said they would order a battery from a different supplier and call me when that was in. Its 3 days past the day they said it would be in and never heard from them. However not interested anymore.My screen before all this had a hairline crack so I appreciate the new screen but would rather my phone in its previous state compared to how it is now.Edit:Here is my phone, right off 59 in corrigan. Ive been able to make calls many many times before you replaced the battery. Now no signal at all. And its been charging either on a wall charger or car charger for 45 minutes and only at 10%. Now down to 7% bc im using it even though plugged in charging.I understand you tried and its appreciated. I just dont have time to go back and forth to get the phone fixed right.

Took my Note 8 in to have my charging port changed out. Had to take it back because now my wireless charging doesnt work was told it would be another $30 but that it could also be my motherboard maybe

Called them about replacing an iPhone 6S+ screen. The man said $90 plus tax. When he was told thats way too much he said good luck finding anyone to do it cheaper and HE hung up on us...well just ONE phone call later, without telling them the call with Screen Geeks, CELLPHONE REPAIR across the street quoted it $50 plus tax!!!! Would recommend coming here before dropping tons of money buying a new phone or at less trustworthy repair shops. Also, they have the cutest shop cat I have ever seen in my life and to be honest he is the best part of the whole operation. Destroyed my phone due to IGNORANCE of Samsung products. I was never able to talk with, “technician” who opened it. I traced down the owner in Austin, Matt Davis, and was lied to, belittled and otherwise treated like one of his ignorant little dope smoking kids.My family will never darken their door.BEWARE. Ordered a new charging port for my cell. Was told itd be about 5 days to get one in. Paid $30 down and total was $54 which I was going to pay upon completion. Never heard a word. So a month later I called and told them to forget about it and just keep the $30 and I wouldnt be back. The reply... a cheery Okay!. Not a Were sorry...is there anything we can do to make it better.... nothing. So yeah, one star.In response to you. Yeah....its the customers fault. Go away.

I had a battery replaced on my Apple Watch and the glass facing came loose and almost fell off. I went to see if it could be repaired because their glue did not hold. I was told a clip was missing so they could not repair. My feeling about this? Well if the adhesive had held like it was suppose to, the clip would not be missing. Soooo I am minus my Apple Watch now. Thanks Screen Geeks in Lufkin, TX . Maybe getting them to repair my devices in the future is a very bad idea.

My phone broke a couple weeks ago and after AT&T told me they couldn’t do anything I brought it here. They were super helpful and fixed it up pretty quickly - the best part was the price they charged me. I recommend going here over any other place in the area.

Lady was kinda rude but she was cool. Still bought the screen protectector. Talked down on all the shops around. when my buddy that owns another shop suggested them because they didnt have what i need.

3.5 stars. Good customer service, and they get the job done. Experienced a few problems with them ordering the correct replacement glass (2 weeks of waiting). Unfortunately, some people have left false bad reviews because they wouldnt buy a broken off brand device. I wouldnt be mad if they wouldnt buy something of mine because they couldnt make money off of it. It is a business after all. Come back two hours later, my phone was ready and it was Like getting a brand new phone everything was PERFECT! Cant thank these guys enough. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND DO NOT BRING YOUR ELECTRONICS TO SCREEN GEEKS. I brought in a simple iPhone 6 screen replacement. They told me over the phone that the would replace it while I wait as I live an hour away. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. I got there and they told me to come back tomorrow. Ok fine. The replacement screen worked for about 2 hours. I brought it back under warranty FOUR MORE TIMES before I got a refund. Absolute worst customer service and blatant disregard for the customer. They should be shut down.

I called the store today to see about getting my screen/LCD replaced on my Galaxy S7 Active. They informed me that they do not replace these on my model because they could not get quality replacement parts. That should speak volumes on the integrity of this business. I respect them for that. They could have replaced my parts with poor quality replacements, but in turn, they possibly saved me from a bad experience.

Horrible Service from all employees. First they claimed they could repair my phone then took it apart left me with no phone. The phone would not work when they gave it back to me and said I would have to pay for a screen to get it back! Basically broke my phone to get my money is what I think. They made rude comments about my Make America Great Again hat and mocked me. How can a company get away with treating customers like this because of political beliefs. will NEVER do business here again, I recommend any other shop BUT SCREEN GEEKS!

I had a cracked screen and they fixed it for 100.00. It seems expensive but apple actually charges more to fix a screen. It only took one hour and my phone works perfectly. I would suggest to go to them every time.

The employees at Screen Geeks are a bunch of Class A nerds, especially the shop cat, Porkchop. He’s the best employee out of all the employees and will make your day infinitely better if you get a chance to meet him. LezLee is pretty cool too, she’s like the other shop cat because she’s so small. Her tiny girl hands make it really easy for her to fix your broken iThings and ZBoxes. Matt is a dedicated civil servant for all your technological needs. One time, everything on my phone was accidentally erased by some clown and Matt spent countless hours working his nerd magic to get everything back. He’s basically modern day Jesus #resurrection. Jonny has some real good hair flow and his eyebrows are fleekin. I think he works there but I’m not sure. Either way, he can fix things too. Bottom line, Screen Geeks is the best place in town for all your broken things, even your broken heart (see above reference: Porkchop). 10/10 would recommend.

My husband got his screen repaired here about a month ago and they did a great job on the screen. However, the speaker has not worked correctly since we got it back. This weekend the phone fell on carpet from about a foot up and the screen shattered. My husband went to the store today and spoke with a manager and they will not replace the screen for any discounted price even though he just had it replaced. I will not be going back.

The manager Jared was very rude and disrespectful, obviously he has no customer service skills/training. Owner Matt would not talk to us, he was too busy. They made several different excuses as to why a repair was not made at the time agreed upon. They decided the next day to refund our money and NOT do the repair as the contract agreement was made. As a customer we do not appreciate being called liars, because we know what time we were supposed to pick the equipment up. Do not use this business I am not the first to have these type of issues.

Matt and the guys at Screen Geeks are amazing! I dropped my iPhone 6, shattered the screen and immediately took it to the guys at the shop around 2:30. I had to be at work at 5 and they made me a priority and made sure I had my phone ready before I went on shift. Cant say enough great things about this guys! Theyre life savers I tell you!

A lot of comments Im seeing say I know the owners personally. Who cares, this is still a review on the way they do business and I had a horrible experience.I was given several different time lines on when my phone would be ready and every time they had an excuse as to why it wasnt ready. I wasnt upset at the fact that they took a long time, but rather that they kept telling me when itd be ready when in wasnt. Also, the workers that work at the front have no experience that they have to go to the back and ask the guys who work on the phones every single question slowing down your time there significantly.

Terrible service. Went in with at 9am with a cracked screen, came back after work at 5pm and they still weren’t done fixing it. Then when they gave it back to me they messed the front camera, so I had to pay them to remove the screen again and fix the camera that they messed up. And got my phone back at 7pm right before closing. Also now Siri and my phone voice detection won’t work, and it says it’s a hardware problem.

Who needs phones??? If so, these guys are the best, go see them! (preferably during business hours)

Dropped off my girlfriends Iphone 5 for a screen repair. When I picked it up I noticed the screen they replaced it with was damaged. So the I took it back there to let them know the tech damaged the new screen, and I had to haggle with the owner.The owner told me he would fix the problem.I waited on my repair this time until he was finished, only to get home and notice he changed my charging port with a damaged one. I guess that was his way of making me come back. I fixed the charging port myself. I would not recommend anyone to them.

These guys will never get my business again. went there for a battery replacement and these idiots cracked my screen while doing so. after hassling with them for hours they repaired my screen. get home and noticed they damaged my charging port. If your looking to get a problem fix and then to leave with another these are the right guys to shaft you...
