I went to hve lunch at the Golden Corral in Lufkin Tx. I went an fixed my plate . Sit dwn to eat an noticed a small roach was on my dinner roll. I asked the waitress to get the manager. And she came and got it off the dinner roll and squeezed the roach with her bare hand🤮.I took photos and a video it wont let me upload the video of her squeezing the roach in her hand. Of this incident that happened today.9/14/21 This is twice this has happened to me. She apologized and refunded my money! This is horrible and unexceptionable! This restaurant needs to have pest control the health department come in an do a complete inspection immediately! I will NEVER eat at this Golden Corral again. 🤢🤮

Today August 4th is my Birthday. Im now 38. My mom took me here and I love it. They sang Happy Birthday to me which I didnt know they did. Heres a picture of the Birthday dessert they brought. Yummmm

Lots of good food to choose from... Steaks .. fish.. meatloaf.. etc.. pies.. deserts.. everything I have tried is PURELY AWESOME!! THANKS GUYS

The food was great, my mother really enjoyed the beef livers with onions. MS. Maggy was our hostess in our section and she very helpful, keeping our tables clear from use dishes, our drinks filling was on point. We had two tables, and we enjoyed it well. Thank you for having my family for lunch.

Our server JASON was SUPER friendly and stayed on top of our drinks and our concerns...And JULIAN was an AMAZING person... He didnt have to be so sweet... But... My twin sister lost her husband to Cancer FEB of 2018... We were sitting and eating dinner when she started crying... I asked her what was wrong... She pointed him out and said he reminded her of her late husband. Her daughter went to the counter, got his attention, explained the situation and he came to the table and talked to her. She turned around and He was very professional... Said He was sorry for her loss...Food was great and hot...BESIDES THE PRICE... I would come here again...

Their fried fish and shrimp batter is cheap and isnt crispy. Mediocre. The steak is cooked at too high of heat leaving the middle not cooked regardless of your rarity choice. Everything else including the chicken and steamed vegetables are great.

I used to hate when my grandparents drug me to GC as a child. BUT, I have to confess that I really enjoyed this meal. The food is much better than I remember it as a kid. My kids loved it. The food was fresh and hot, and the buffet areas were clean. The selection was mind blowing, of course thats what they are known for.But the best thing.....We had a waitress. Not a server but an actual waitress. It was wonderful! What a relief to be able to eat a meal and have perfect service. Didnt have to chase her for drinks or ask 2-3 times for steak sauce. She magically appeared at just right time. Waiters and waitresses are becoming a lost profession and its a shame.

This was my first time eating at Golden Corral. The food was amazing & employees were nice and friendly. The waitress we had was so nice, sweet & helpful.

Good food for mass produced... Seasoned well, cooked well, and replenished with fresh food well. Very impressed with this Golden Corral considering Ive been to many and this is the second one Ive actually enjoyed. Very kid friendly and accommodating. Love the chocolate fountain!

This was the best Golden Corral I have ever had! The gentleman who was working the grill was keeping everything in that section fresh and delicious. I didnt get his name but I did tell him how great he was doing! Thank him again for me!

Buffet fully open. Gloves requested while serving. No masks required. Food quality very good.

Extremely clean! Disposable gloves for diners to serve themselves. Masks required at the buffet. Tables spaced a safe social distance. The fried chicken was hot and tasty. The okra and tomatoes, rice, and Bourbon Street Chicken were delicious. The bread pudding, banana pudding, and the hot fudge are excellent! Maggy cleared our dirty dishes swiftly and was quick to replace plates - and you could tell she was smiling even with her mask on! They are handling the pandemic well!

Its been a while since Ive been to a Golden Corral and now I remember why. Its quite pricey for what they offer these days and the food tasted pretty bad. The worst part was the restrooms; smelled like sewage and was extremely dirty.

I love their salad bar, but I miss the crab salad that was always my favorite.

They offer plastic gloves at the buffet line and every other table was closed off. Some of the food were bland (cheesecake), the fried chicken skin and tap water were not to my taste. Overall, one of the better golden corrals I have been to.

Great food. Very clean. Followed all proticals for Covid. I read impressed. Wait was friendly and kept dirty played off tables and drinks refilled

We went Sunday to Lufkin Texas to Golden Corral, four people it was $74.00. No discount for elderly, an the food was not that good at alI, I could not even chew my steak. NOT impressed at all in fact I will not be back there again. !!

The cafeteria style service was a refreshing change from fighting with unsupervised children for the serving utensils. Kudos to GC for their conderation of social distancing and providing a reasonably safe experience. Ill do my part to keep responsible and safe as possible so that others can enjoy dining out as well.

The food was good all but the steak. It was like a dry roast. Place was clean and organized. The waitress we had would only pick up plates. We had to go up front to fill our own drinks. She was sweet just never came by until we got up to go to the buffet. We would return to see the plates gone and our drinks empty. She finally asked if we wanted drinks when we were all done eating. Other than that, it was fairly good eating

Went there at almost noon on a Saturday (today) for two seniors and two adults all with tea it was 75+ dollors. The senior discount was .50 cents less than regular. Will never go again and will not recommend it to anyone more like warn them. 14.99 lunch is not worth it. They get the star for the waitress was great. Food is good but the only gold is what the place is making off the customer.Prices posted do not match the price they charge.🤨☹️

Love the salad and all the trimmings. I eat this first, then my protein (pot roast) and veges. I wish there were less veges with bacon or ham. Prices are steep though but I understand. Saw some people really chowing down. Overeating is not good people.

Its pretty standard for a golden corral. Lots of different food to choose from. Not all of their dishes are quality, but theyre also not bad. I would be happier if the price was a bit lower. But when all is said and done, youll leave as full as you want, and I guess thats what matters.

Well, first of all the place was very clean and the waitress was very nice and met our needs, But, the food was not like it was the last time we where there, the rolls where not light and fluffy, and the food was not hot at all. The only thing that I was satisfied with was the cheesecake.

The food was amazing and the employees were very kind. Immediately our server Alex made my family and I feel welcomed. Drinks were always filled and dirty plates were always picked up. Mangers were also very involved and working. One of the best golden corrals I have been to.
