Anthony did a clutch on my girlfriends Evo X. Good work, honest, fairly priced. He texted us updates of exactly where he was in the process, with pictures, and even gave us the old clutch disk afterwards (its an honesty thing, proof that the work was done for parts that you cant actually see).A clutch on an Evo is not a small job. Its easily 8-12 hours of labor. I researched it heavily before bringing it to anyone, and judging by the conversations we had with him, he made sure to research it, too. Hes an absolute perfectionist and a trustworthy, professional, neighborhood mechanic, and thats not easy to find these days.

Absolute lifesavers. We pulled off the Mass Pike after hearing a concerning rumble and went straight to the first mechanic we could find. Turns out the place that put our snow tires on left the axel nut loose and the tire was about to fly off. It ruined the wheel bearing and we needed a replacement part. The guys at Baldwin were amazing - I’m on crutches after hip surgery, so they were really concerned with making sure I had a comfortable place to wait and getting us back on the road as soon as possible. They sent us to a restaurant around the block to wait for what could have been a couple hours for the part to come in, but within 45 minutes they not only finished but drove the car over to us so I didn’t have to walk back on crutches. Can’t thank them enough for their incredible service!

Great service with a fair price. Had an axle replaced on my SUV, had it done in a few hours. Saved hundreds of $ compared to any big auto repair shop around. They will get my business from now on. Highly recommended.

I was having issues with my Jeep, gas cap light and check engine light kept coming on. I replaced the gas cap and hoped it would help and it didn’t. I called Baldwin auto and asked if they could possibly try and fix it. I am not sure who I spoke with but they were very kind. I brought it to him and with in 2 hours no lights and no issues!!! He told me step by step what he was doing and told me if I had any more issues to let him know. I cringed when I got the bill, but to my pleasant surprise it was about half of what I expected! Great place and great people. Thank you!

Very honest and friendly people there. I’ve gone there several times for multiple cars and always have a great experience. Not to mention they’re very fast! I’ve been given a quote before for work I needed done and it ended up being less than expected because it took them less labor time. They were honest and charged me the right amount for labor. I will always recommend Baldwin!

This place was excellent. Broke down on 90 and had the tow truck bring me to what seemed like the best in the area. Was able to get in touch with (I assume) the owner in Facebook and could leave my car there so he could fix it. Thought it would be a $700 alternator repair but ended up being only a little over $100 to fix something else! Honest and fast! Cant beat this pace! If it wasnt an hour away, he would be my go to mechanic!

Recently recognized the need for a professional, reliable, fully equipped mechanic with a legal & established shop/location with or without staff. I love my mechanic friends who are trying to make ends meet, but are without some of the aforementioned. All past services are greatly appreciated.To start, I did a Google Search for auto service establishments in my area. Baldwin happened to be closest (1/2 mile away) which is a great feature as going back and forth to drop off and pick up was always a past issue. The majority of the Google reviews were favorable, as so were the Yelp reviews. I sent a message to Baldwin via both of theses sights, and within minutes Anthony Baldwin responded.Next step was to visit without being in need. Just wanted to see the place and meet this mechanic. In doing so, I met the staff and also within minutes a regular customer arrived for an oil change. At this point I will express my satisfaction that transportation is available to your home or job.Since my exploratory visit ( less than 1 month) my 99 GMC Sonoma PU has been to Baldwin Auto for three jobs. All were completed in a very reasonable time frame, and at reasonable cost, each visit required transportation between my home and the shop. FYI, my truck is considered in good overall condition, but based on its age and the current weather conditions ran into need of TLC.Needless to say I am telling everyone I know about this great place. If you need your car worked on this is the place you need to go. Hes HONEST. these days finding an honest repairman is next to impossible. These is the place . He wouldnt fix stuff that doesnt need fixing . Hes a fair price as well. Hell tell you like it is . Iv had him work on my VIB and my honda, he fixes it and does it right Excellent just excellent. 2 THUMPS UP

This place saved our weekend! We had an engine light come on towing our camper for the first time and called Baldwin. They said they’ll get us back on the road so we went there. In and out in just over an hour. Thanks guys!
