It was a great experience. Thnks u bbb for the information and food.
Mears MazdaI brought several SUV from Mears and I always had great experiences with them. But this time I brought a Land Rover and I had the worst experience. I will not buy another suv from them or recommend anyone to them. The management and the salesman was very unprofessional.
Better business bureau of Lubbock is simply horrible for businesses. I was able to raise my rating to an A+ by paying more money and this was told to me by Greg Linder, the CEO. It’s all based off the amount of customers you have, he said. So just tell me you have more customers and your rating will go up. And so did my bill. Greg Linder needs to be removed from that office. The BBB of Lubbock is corrupt and is simply driven for money and profits. Potentially the worst rain company and all of Lubbock. Do not be a member of the BBB of Lubbock.
Absolutely the most helpful people. After many months of being ignored the BBB resolved my issue with a local business even though I had moved to another city. Thank you so much BBB of the South Plains.
Im glad someone finally stood up and said something publicly about the phony BBB. I have been in business for 22 years and never been a member of the phony BBB because its a sham. Many friends are business owners with the BBB and they are all agree. I congratulate Gerald and hope more people stand up and vent their grievances publicly against the BBB in Lubbock.
Greg and his staff are so helpful! Elisa walked me thru the new app and features on my profile that needed to be updated! Highly Recommend!
Professional from start to finish. Kyle was very knowledgeable and helpful. The crew worked great as a team and completed the job in one day. The crew foreman was very thorough and worked we it the crew through the entire time.
We had a water leak into our bedroom. Kenneth and Trevor came out immediately and got to work. They were very polite and very willing to answer all my questions. They explained everything they were doing and did all they could to keep the repairs minimal while making sure the problem was completely corrected.
Contracted with Jone & Associates to custom install steel siding with insulation on 4 gables of my house. Minor communication on type of siding initially, however situation was handled very professionally, and desired siding was ordered with no additional costs incurred. Installers were very professional in responding to any of my questions and replaced sheets that were not fitting properly. Installation and Clean up were completed professionally with minimal disruption to us. Upon completion, we received a substantial refund with an explanation that initial estimate was overstated. This is the type of company that you want to do business with.
My family and I had the worse experience staying at the Hawthorn Suites in Lubbock. Called several months ago to confirm room availability and room rates (although) they quoted one rate, at check-out...they doubled it! The window shades were broken and could not be raise and at night, you could hear every car/truck on the adjacent HIGHWAY. Good luck getting a descent night sleep!PS: As a business person, I visit LBB regularly and this is an establishment to skip!!!!!
We purchased a hot tub from Alcoe in Lubbock. Phenomenal customer service and superior satisfaction from purchase to install. Thanks!
I have done business with Also of Lubbock for 24 years and they have provided me with 3 quality spas and service over and above what I expected.. Great bunch of people to work with.
Was able to apply for a membership in the BBB. Looking forward to a good relationship.
01/11/18 - in response to the BBBs reply -I gained this information on 01/11/18 from the president and CEO of the local BBB, Greg Linder. If the BBB confirms that you have had some kind of business exchange with the person posting about you no matter what is said about you or if it is true or false or slander the BBB will not take the review down unless they have a court order. The BBB does not use any system to figure out what is true or false on reviews on their website.I very strongly disagree with the way the BBB allows false information and slander to be on their website in the review section. The BBB does not allow this in the other areas of their website and they use a thorough system to evaluate customer and business issues and reach conclusions with both parties and help figure out what is true, false and slander before they publish it to the world wide web.I will say that Mr. Linder was very nice and courteous on the phone when I called him today about this matter. Mr. Linder explained how there national policies work and how there is nothing he can do to remove a review without a court order regardless of what is put on there if a business exchange has taken place.I really hope the BBB can change this policy in the future or get rid of the review section of their company completely as I feel it is going against the fundamental purpose of the BBB.I stand up for what is true and right in everything I do and I expect the BBB to do the same.original post the week of 01/01/18After talking to a member of the Better Business Bureau (Ill keep their name out of this at this point) They informed me that they allow anyone to go on to their website and post anything the person wants without any regard for what is true what is false what is slander... The BBB allows people to post false information and if there is a problem with what is posted for the world to see the business or person being slandered has to make a complaint. After a complaint is received the BBB will try to contact the individual that posted on the BBB website and they will try to figure out what is true and what is not. I specifically asked for the BBB to remove the post until this review process was completed, because there is false information and slander on the BBBs platform. I specifically told them that they needed to remove the post or I would post this. They said they couldnt until they completed the review process. So here you go BBB your polices and procedures for providing a platform for just accurate information is terrible. After this is resoled I will post a summary to this post and let the world know who things are handled. I would not recommend using the BBB of the South Plains based on my experience with them at this point.
BBB employee by the name of Tim Vista came to our buisnees and did not like our policy on how we handle checks. Upset, he asked for his check and ID back and felt the need to shove our card reader to display his anger. As an employee of any business you can see why this is unacceptable and unprofessional.
