Richard was super helpful and provided GREAT customer service! I rented from this property years ago long before Metro took over and loved the property. They always treat me like a family friend! I love that each unit has a security alarm as well as the lock. Top notch! Highly recommend if you need a storage unit.

I have never rented a storage unit before and after selling my home I needed a place to store my stuff. And feeling stressed and overwhelmed I did not know where to go . I used this storage on 50th for about a year and they were absolutely fantastic! Even when COVID hit, they worked with me and moving out, Richard helped my moving crew as I was not there. I definitely recommend this storage facility. Richard is an awesome guy! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I cant speak highly enough about this place. I just got a space here this month, but am very impressed so far. The rates are great, acquiring the unit was easy, my space was clean, and the manager was incredibly personable. Each unit is equipped with an alarm, and the manager lives on site so security is great. In fact, my brother was helping me move stuff in and followed my car through the gate without using my code to pass, by the time he was at the end of the row the manager was outside on the phone with the alarm company. This was quickly sorted out of course, but it definitely made me feel like my stuff would be safe. I definitely recommend considering this if you are in need of storage space.

Richard has been very friendly throughout the time my daughter and son-in-law stored their household items at Metro. We helped them unload into the storage unit and reload to to the new house. We picked the hottest day of the week to move out of the storage unit, and were sweating up a storm when Richard stopped by to offer us cold water. What a blessing!! We had such a good experience storing our household items at Metro self storage. From the time I spoke with Richard on the phone calling about what units were available, to the day we moved our things out and Richard was kind enough to bring us some water while we were loading the truck, has been a great experience. My husband was able to come by on his lunch hour to get all the paperwork filled out and the unit set up so that we could just drop all of our things that evening, which was great. I would definitely recommend Metro self storage to anyone I know!

I’ve used these guys for years! The property manager has been there for years, and they have always been very accommodating and have always had great customer service! I would highly recommend to anyone with storage needs!

Lubbock was forecasting golf ball size hail May 7. I took my pickup over to Metro storage to park in front of our trailer for the night. The nice worker with common sense told us that would be fine for one night. The next morning at 8 am the manager is calling that a pickup was parked in our spot and that the police was there ready to ticket and tow the truck. I told it was ours and then he started talking about breach of contract and eviction. I said dont bother and then went to the storage and removed our trailer. The manager had zero common sense or courtesy. I left and will never return.

Used as storage for a couple months when will my wife and I went out of town. Really good customer service they gave us a lock and everything, highly recommended storage was affordable in the space was more than what we needed. Definitely using these guys again if we need them.

Love it. When we arrived it was 100 degrees outside. They let me check out the space to make sure my stuff would fit before I took everything out of the truck. They helped me through the process so I could help my friends finish emptying the truck into the unit. Then the manager gave all of us bottles of water. It was greatly appreciated, we all needed it. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a space either short term or long.

Weve gone by 3 times to try to make a payment (this month) during business hours. Its happened several times in 2 years.This time we just went by at 2:45pm & the sign says that someone will be there at 3:30pm. Its a bit out of our way to keep going back time after time. We cant pay online because their system debits our card twice each payment & has taken up to 6 days to release the extra payment. Not sure what thats about but its done it to us 2 or 3 times. Folks are nice, place is nice but the rates have gone up twice in 2 years. Moving on at the end of this month....

This place is ghetto and scary. I would not recommend storing here unless you are carrying a gun!!!! Your stuff will get stolen. No college students should store here for sure for example LCU and Texas Tech.
