Beverly is the most compassionate person Ive ever met. Her love for cats and kittens is unmatched. They are always so well taken care of while in her care. She gets them all they need, no matter the cost. If you are thinking of adopting a kitty, I wont ever recommend anyone else but her. I dont know anybody else with her kind of patience, devotion, and caring, when it comes to rescuing. She deserves the world! She truly is an angel to all the abandoned kittens in the world. We love her and love helping her out, when and if we adopt again, it will be from her.

I have helped Beverley take care of her orphan kittens for about 3 years now and she is truly amazing. I’ve loved helping her and getting to see all the kittens grow up and get adopted. If you’re considering volunteering with her, please do! She constantly needs help and works so so so hard to maintain the health of so many kittens given to her everyday.

Adopted 2 sweet babies from Furry Godmothers! They were so helpful, sweet, and easy to work with. They truly have a heart for these babies and the will to find them a good forever home. ❤️ HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend adopting through them.

Weird lady. Poor kittens live in this smelly little living room. I came here several times feel bad for the kittens. They first said would love to have foster homes for the babies then suddenly said I’m not a cat person. So weird.

These negative reviews are absolutely insane to me! I have been to this rescue and lets just say I wouldnt trade places with this woman who cares for Lubbock stray kitten population.Imagine never being able to leave your home because during kitten season you have to bottle feed and make each kitten potty before moving on to the next kitten. She gets bombarded with calls and drop offs because Lubbock has a serious stray issue, both cats and dogs. She bottle feeds these kittens and then when shes done its time to start all over again with the next round of feeding, day and night! And gosh, she has babies in a hamster cage? Um, at least these kittens are being fed and cared for! It smells? Yes because shes constantly feeding around the clock non stop! How about all of yall who are complaining step up and help out your local kitten rescue woman? Give her an hour break? Nah, just wanna complain about someone whos actually doing something! Shame on yall! Spend a day and night, 24hrs in her shoes then talk.

Its totally awesome. Takes the best care possible of kittens. Helps anyway they can. The fee for adoption is not at all bad because when u take into account how much it is for shots and to fix an animal you will be paying way more. Upfront and honest.

Ive had a wonderful experience fostering kittens with Beverly. She truly loves each of her babies and gives them expert care and attention. Shes never ask me for any money, but she does have to make certain that she can cover her cost for medications, shots, spaying or neutering. She charges a small adoption fee of $150 to recoup these expenses. From what I can tell, she does this from the heart and never makes a penny off adoptions.

I went with a friend of mine into this woman’s house to investigate a neglect situation. The home smelled, and we found multiple sick and injured babies. Neonates were kept in hamster cages and many cats were unhealthy and kept in dirty cages.

I was referred to Furry Godmothers and one of my kittens died due to pediatric spaying which is spaying before 4 to 6 months old. Sometimes these when spayed young at 12 weeks which is 2 months old actually kills the kitten. I pulled two of my remaining three kittens from her and paid her for first set vaccines because even after the death of one of my kittens, she still wanted to spay the other two that had just gotten their first set vaccines so I told her no, paid her for the vaccines set 1 of the series as well as paid for the services rendered to the graduate of her program being the sibling of the kitten that died. There are spaying alternatives such as depro Vera and obiban or obivan which is birth control for cats that can be given by injection to girl cats when they receive vaccinations as well as vasectomy for the boy cats. Traditional spaying is not necessary when there are spaying alternatives. My beautiful kitten died as a result of me being ill advised and me being pushed into having a procedure done on my kittens when they were not ready or of proper age. She threatened me that if I didnt take them in for the procedure then she would take them from me and have the procedure done anyway. I didnt appreciate being pushed into having procedures done on my cats that I didnt agree with. I now have three depressed cats as well as myself to now console even after being a week since my kittens passing. Her vaccine purchases are from Amazon and she is not licensed to treat animals. She is a registered nurse that can only treat humans. Please do your research before bringing any helpless cats kittens or creatures to her. I love animals, especially cats. I had to give one star just to put a comment up.Please DO NOT DO pediatric spaying!!!!! WAIT until they are of proper age even if its after the female kitten first heat. Also, there are calming collars sold in pet stores to alleviate the hardship of breed cycles in cats as well as dogs. I wish I would known of these alternatives because had I known it, my kitten would still alive today.

Called this place after the city of Lubbock referred me to them in regards to a stray kitten situation. The woman that answered didn’t address herself and when I told her why I was calling she preceded to tell me, with an attitude, that “this was a cat rescue, and that she didn’t work for the city of Lubbock. I can’t drive, I can’t come pick up an animal”. The attitude was uncalled for, terrible customer service.
