How professional for them to reply to my old review from 3 years ago saying I admit to having credit issues! Doesnt everybody of some sort nowadays?! I have such bad credit issues though, that I have a house. I see other people here agree with me...and I got five thumbs up... and they have no credit issues you accuse me of having. Thanks for letting me post an even worse review now than I did before. I was way nicer back then. Solid professionalism.

Discrimination at its finest. Stay away from this place. Management is horrible. You will never get your deposit back. Follow up: Thanks for your feedback. But it is false. Your management is awful, unprofessional and very discriminating.

Let me tell you about my experiencesMy co worker (Caucasian)and i (African American)applied for these townhomes around the same time she was approved within two days. I was denied for no reason at all and i bring in more income then her and what is required. When i asked why i was denied Kylie stated it was at the owner’s request. I don’t have a criminal background it’s just my daughter and i, so you would think they would want to house a single parent with her child. Word of advise don’t waste your time or money.

I love these apartments. They are clean and well maintained. All the staff are polite and respectful. Ive lived in many rentals over the last forty years and this is by far the nicest. Maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner.

In response to a recent negative review by Kyle McFadden, Shorewood Townhouse Apartments has been providing safe townhouse-style rentals for over 40 years. We work very hard to keep it a safe, well maintained property for those that live here. The person who wrote this review neither lives here nor came forward to formally complain to management about any event that resembles what he wrote. Our employees are respectful, long term employees. The inside of the apartment was dated but spacious. We couldnt get over the sewer or garbage smell.

Great Location right by all the parks.....can walk across the street and watch the ski bronxs which is a plus......cute apartments for a decent price

We have never been denied for an apartment...ever!! They do hard background checks here, which is good...but I feel they judge people on their past, which isnt right. My past is my past. I have had a hard life. Ive rented many places and have gotten approved and completed leases, not to mention my Husband and I make ample money together to afford a place. We are great tenants and always try to help. We did like the Manager, Kyle, but this experience made my Husband and I feel horrible. As if my past wasnt bad enough. We were told in 6 months to a year to reapply when we are in a better position. This is the best position Ive ever been in in my life. I make more money than I ever have, and none of that matters. Our pasts always come out to haunt us, so if you dont want to waste 40 bucks, especially around Christmas, and you have a few phone bills lingering on your credit, dont waste your time or money. Serious disappointment and regret. Its really to bad the world goes by credit, because the good and honest people who make good money with a slightly bad past get shafted. Why would I want to reapply after that period of time when I tried to reach out with a letter and explain my past? All we asked for was a chance. Again. A big disappointment and seriously missed out on great tenants. Oh, and a few friends of mine on Facebook have also been denied because of income guidelines which are not posted on the website and therefore 40 bucks is wasted by innocent people. Even people with service dogs and disabilites have been denied. Discrimination at its finest.

They have some really neat stuff the help was just okay I cant rant and Rave about them and theyre a little pricey for their things
