I hired Lefke Tree service after soliciting bids from several local companies. Lefke promptly came and made a competitive bid for the services. Initially, I had only contracted for 4 mature trees in my yard to be pruned. Lefke quickly did the work on the trees. Later, I decided to have additional trees trimmed. The quickly provided a reasonable bid for the services and were hired for the additional work. Yesterday, they showed up at my jobsite with 3 workers and a 72 bucket boom in order to do the work. Within several hours, they had completed the additional assignment. They then cleaned the yard of all debris. I would not hesitate to hire Lefke for tree pruning services at a residence.

Very pleased overall with their work. They went to great lengths to care for my needs. They removed 5 trees and trimmed the dead out of another large maple tree. They even cut up smaller pieces I can split and use for firewood.The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is their equipment left some ruts and bare spots in my yard. The lift seemed to leak something that killed my grass in about a 9 diameter each place they moved it. Nothing major just a concern. As with any service, its probably better to make sure the ground is dry and solid. It had rained the day before in my case so not a major complaint, just something to be aware of.

I can not begin to explain how great of an experience I had with this company but I will try. After a big windstorm where everyone was busy they came out to my house in an hour. A tree was falling towards my neighbors yard but was stuck on another tree. He said we are booked up for a little while since this windstorm but I will help you get this down safely right now to give you piece of mind. I could not thank him enough. Im extremely pleased with Lefke. They came to the house, told me what happened to my River Birch (borer), gave me an estimate with a great price, and came back a week later to take the tree. The work and cleanup was very thorough and the crew was extremely professional. I lucked out as Lefke was the first company I called and I found a winner!

I am a renter on a multi property location and was not given proper notice of their arrival which is not the companies fault, however, when I requested to see the work order to cut down all my trees that I have planted and pay to maintain, they stated they dont have them. I will need to file a law suit to even find out if they were supposed to be cutting down trees or just the trees in the common area directly next door. Frustrated with the lack of professionalism.

The guys were all polite and professional and left my property cleaner than when they arrived. What a treat! Who knew spending so much $$ on tree removal could be such a great experience. We contacted Lefke to trim few trees around the house. Nick came out and proposed two trees be removed as well. He was professional and they sent the estimate and proposal, which we signed online. Problem is that in the process of cutting and removing the trees they also damaged our concrete driveway. The cost of fixing the driveway by Nick’s own concrete contractor was $3,680, more than Lefke’s tree removal job, of which he offered to pay only $600, with the caveat that his tree proposal included a line that they were not responsible for driveway damage! My concrete contractor said they should’ve used plywood on the concrete and been more careful. I just wish they were more transparent about the possibility of this happening instead of just sneaking it on the proposal and hoping you won’t see the crack. Very bad experience, don’t hire these guys if you have a driveway to worry about.

I live on a heavily wooded lot with dozens of 100ft+ Ash trees. Over the years I have had to remove a lot of trees and have experience with a variety of tree companies including some of those sketchy guys who troll neighborhoods and offer to do it for cheap but end up trashing your yard (or worse.)When the crew from Lefke showed up to inspect the job I had high hopes based on obvious knowledge and professionalism. The bid price was reasonable and my project was placed on the schedule.The crew arrived on time, clarified my objectives then set to work in a safe, swift and organized method of operation that was impressive. In a single day, they completed an impressive amount of work and did so for an extremely afforable price.As a bonus, the crew was a good bunch of guys; cool and friendly.I absolutlely recommend you give them a try so you can see this well oiled machine in action.

Called and told them I needed a tree felled in the correct direction. I did not need it cut up or hauled away or the stump removed. The wrote out a quote for $900 with full removal. I asked for another quote via several calls but never got another call back and never received another quote again. Meanwhile this tree was threatening my house. I guess I wasnt even worth a phone call if I didnt hand over $900. I ended up going with a competitor for $250.

These guys were hired by my neighbor to cut down their trees. This company did not give us any notice and stacked all of the branches they cut in our driveway. They left our driveway completely blocked from 9:30AM until 5:30PM and the crew left completely for at least 2 hours and didn’t return to clean up until I called the company. At one point my roommate watched a tree branch land on her car, luckily there was no damage. When she went to speak to the crew they laughed at her and mocked her. Once they finally cleaned up our driveway and left we noticed a new pothole in our driveway. Don’t hire these guys, the crew is rude and disrespectful and will trash your neighbor’s property.
