Super friendly and quick. They have a great building with places to sit outside while you wait for your fur baby during curbside drop off. They were very detailed in explaining options and went above and beyond so I can possibly avoid another visit. Highly recommend. They checked in after the visit and we’re very helpful and caring.
I brought my dog here after she ate like 10 chocolate protein bars 😬. The staff were really understanding about my concern; they were reassuring to me and cared for my beloved pup. They gave me their professional opinion (that she likely just had GI issues, not severe chocolate poisoning), but said I could leave her overnight for observation if I wanted. They were direct and honest, but also understanding that I was anxious about the situation. They treated her well and sent us home with clear instructions on how to care for her. They were also clear on what signs to look for that meant trouble. She’s doing well today, and I’m thankful that I brought her to Four Seasons for care.
We could not have asked for a better oncology team surrounding our pup! Dr Faulhaber, nurse Nikki and the rest of the team were so helpful and really made our guy feel special. He is officially in remission today 9/20/21. He is going to miss seeing his friends every week but he is feeling great!! We went to a few different places for various reasons throughout this process including Aspen Meadows in Longmont (who were just awful) this is by far the best place to take your pet for emergency or oncology. I would take the drive to Loveland anytime to be with doctors who really care.
My baby kitten suddenly passed away today. I am completely devastated and was terrified that my other cat was somehow also sick without me knowing, so I rushed him and the babys body over to the closest emergency vet I could find. On the phone, everyone was so kind and helpful, and when we got there, we were helped by Danny. Danny walked me through everything and put my fears to rest, he helped me take care of the babys remains, and even made me laugh. Today was one of the worst days ever, but it was a reminder of the kindness and goodness that is still in the world. For this, I could never thank Danny enough. These are good people, and I think it was fate that I had them with me today, because even on the most heartbreaking days, there are people like Danny to pick you up and put you back together again.
From the moment we called in for help, to the time we checked out, Dr. Redman & Meghan were both top notch and treated us with the utmost respect and efficiency. It is so refreshing to deal with such awesome, caring, knowledgeable people! We will HIGHLY recommend you!! Although it is always preferred to not need your services, it is comforting to know we have an outstanding place to go should the need arise.
Had my two Frenchies come down with Kennel Cough, my first experience with it, and had to have them looked at at 10pm on Saturday night. They were so great handling them, especially making sure that they wouldnt infect any other animals that were there. I highly recommend them!!
This is Molley. She wasn’t feeling good and I took her here. They treated her with so musc respect, as did they with us as well. They let us ask as many questions as we needed to in order to make medical decisions for Molley. DO NOT hesitate if you need emergency or specialized care for your pet!The Allen Family
So I live in Fort Collins and I chose to drive out to this location because the only other location in town that was open at the time was super sketchy and the staff was rude over the phone. Calling four seasons they were absolutely helpful and kind! They took down my cats info and details on what happened while I was driving on my way over.It was decently busy and since my cat wasn’t dying or in worse condition I waited patiently while they helped save other pets. My cat I’m pretty sure ate some weird bug and puked up some pink (was worried about blood). So talking to the vet she was super helpful and we went over details on my cats bad habits of eating moths lol.The vet went above and beyond didn’t try upselling me on unnecessary x rays due to exams and blood work. They gave my cat some fluids and meds to take home as well as super helpful tips for giving my cats the meds. I am very grateful for their help and kindness and compassion! Hopefully my cat doesn’t have any other emergencies but if so I am glad to come back to this location again.
Four Seasons was able to get my foster dog in to see a cardiologist, and Echo very quickly. The staff was all amazing, it was very organized for drop off and pick up. When the doctor didn’t hear the murmur she didn’t push for the ECHO and explained why she didn’t feel it necessary at this time. Therefore saving our foster dog some stress, the rescue some money, and we are happy to report Eddie will be adopted next week!Wonderful experience! Thank you so much!
Cannot say enough about Dr Redmond and the entire dentistry team here. Our pup went in for a root canal, they went above and beyond to make her comfortable, provide plenty of info before and after operation and kept us well informed of her progress throughout anesthesia. We will be using Four Seasons for any emergency care needs going forward.
Ive used Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists for several emergencies and orthopedic referrals (I have a lot of animals). They are simply the best. Dr. Britt is a tremendous surgeon and the emergency department is prompt, skilled, and extremely communicative. They handle stressful situations with professionalism and grace and I am incredibly thankful for their expertise.
We have unfortunately had to make 2 recent trips to Four Seasons, but we have been nothing short of impressed. They are compassionate, quick, and very attentive. The cost was quite reasonable as well. Both times they took as much time as needed to give thorough answers to all of our questions and you could tell they truly cared for the animals theyre treating. I wouldnt hesitate to bring my pup here again, and to say Im extremely picky about her care would be an understatement. Four Seasons is phenomenal.
We brought our dog here when it was discovered that his platelet count was extremely low. It was determined that he has ITP and a treatment plan was put in place once he was stable. Unfortunately he had a relapse that had him at a scary place, but Four Seasons treated him quickly and efficiently He was allowed to come home and recover and since then has been seeing the doctor with internal medicine and is stable. Throughout the whole process, including his continued care, Four Seasons has been informative and allowed for us to ask questions. I cannot stress enough our happiness with the care our dog has received and continues to receive.
Out beautiful, sweet golden doodle puppy ran into traffic and was hit and killed. I was absolutely hysterical when I called and I’m surprised they could understand me but they got us right in and took care of our dogs body very quickly and reasonably. We have a beautiful clay paw print, some ink prints and a vial if her fur that we will treasure forever. I am forever grateful to this place for helping us through our traumatic experience and making it a bit easier.
Available and helpful, while their overnight services were not what we chose for several reasons (including cost) their out-patient services were excellent. Very real folks and willing to help, this will be our ER of choice for our animals! Thanks Four Seasons.
We had an issue with our dog on a Sunday. Our regular vet was not open. They were able to see us right away and take care of our dogs issue. Very professional. I would highly recommend
I arrived in Loveland Sunday evening for a week long camping trip. No sooner had I set up camp than my 9-week-old puppy started having an allergic reaction. Knowing nothing about the area, I immediately did an emergency vet search and contacted Four Seasons based on locale and Google reviews. The staff extremely responsive, kind, professional and supportive, everything you want in a crisis. They took great care of little Ace and got him situated quickly. I highly recommend them.
So I’ve actually had to bring my pup here twice, and I’ve had a very good experience both times. I was comfortable with the care given by the docs and also the cost. In fact, the doc on duty for our last visit had a strong idea of what was going on just from me describing her symptoms over the phone. Once he got her in and examined her, it turned out he was right :-). While I certainly hope we don’t have to go in for emergency treatment again, if we do we will certainly use Four Seasons again. Thank you guys very much!
I believe they took good care of my cat Hobbes. During this time of covid-19 where everyone is understaffed, they were still very kind and professional and though there was a long wait I do feel like he was given good care and hes very quickly returning to normal. I do believe they care about the animals and the people. And in an emergency I would go back there again.
Very good at diagnosing our dogs issues.
Our poor dog ended up getting a bowel obstruction on Saturday and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Not only were they gentle with Kash but they were so kind and gentle with us. After getting an estimate that caught us off guard, Dr. Pappert came out to talk with us personally and helped us find another great emergency vet that better suite our financial situation. These things are not expected and I cannot thank everyone there for going out of their way to help us even when it didn’t involve them actually doing surgery. We are now home after surgery resting and I owe it all to everyone at Four Seasons. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! I am forever grateful for all of you!
Lisa was fantastic. Called her a few times after our visit with questions/concerns.For being an ER facility the cost was very reasonable. They were great about putting us at ease and making sure our pet was taken care.
Overall the best and most compassionate people they have as a staff.Got answer for my money. My dog is doing well thanks to internal medicine and there great team. Will tell friends and will return!!Thanks to all of you at Four Seasons!!🐕
Dr.Castle and his team were great! Our dog started breathing heavily with a cough and fever in the middle of the night. We live in Longmont so we called our local emergency vet, but they were at capacity. They referred us to Four Seasons. The staff was helpful, honest and empathetic. We drove to Loveland and they met us curbside in the parking lot right away. Our dog ended up having kennel cough, so they did the exam right outside. I’m so grateful they were diligent in not exposing other pups to my dog’s illness. Kennel cough sucks, but the care at this facility was fantastic. They sent us on our way with antibiotics, cough medicine and a small can of wet food to feed the meds with. Very thoughtful and the whole experience was reassuring. Thank you so much for what you do!!
We took our dog here in an emergency situation, they did take good care of her in that moment. HOWEVER, they ran some tests that took a week to process. After a week I had not heard anything, I called 8 TIMES!!! and one time was on hold for 45 minutes... I then asked for them to just send the results to my regular vet, which they did. HOWEVER, the results were NOT in the information that they sent over to my VET! After 4 days of trying to get these critical results for my dog, I STILL DO NOT HAVE THEM!!!! This is what you call patient care? This is NOT OK!
Very thorough veterinary expertise and communication, and done with a rare personal warmth, ease, and tempo that leaves one not rushed or lacking.
They were very compassionate and respectful at helping us put our senior Newfoundland to rest when he declined suddenly after hours of our typical vet. The front staff, techs, and vet were all kind and professional.
They were wonderful! Took care of my fur baby, communication every step of the way, could not ask for better care ❤ I would not go anywhere else and if you need emergency care go here!
Wonderful, wonderful place! I noticed that my dog had an ear infection. My vet could not see her until next week so I took her to Four Seasons Vet Clinic, and I am so happy that I did. From check in, to getting updates and checking out the entire process went very smoothly. I felt that they did an exceptional job of checking my dog and treating her. I was also very happy about the price, very reasonable for an emergency vet. Thank you Dr. Halpin and staff for taking care of my girl. Aimee & Angel
Ive been to Four Seasons for two emergencies and both experiences were excellent. A couple of years ago the staff was extremely competent and compassionate as they helped us navigate end of life care for my senior dog. Yesterday, on the 4th of July, my other dog was attacked by a racoon and despite the holiday mayhem and covid protocols Four Seasons squeezed us in and provided thorough care and follow-up instructions. The staff is really caring and the facility can run far more tests than the average vet clinic.
My 3 year old Chihuahua was having issues with vomiting, diarrhea, and not eating for a few days. I was in a panic and called Four Seasons Animal Hospital. Luckily they were able to get us in. I called upon arrival and within a few minutes their vet tech Justin came out to get my little guy. Shortly after I was called and told it would be $600ish to perform bloodwork and x-rays to get a better idea of what was going on. I of course agreed and patiently waited in my car while the tests were being performed. I received a call from Dr. Preston who explained that she would like to see my little guy hooked up to IV fluids but that an outpatient option was also available. She transferred me to the vet tech who went over everything that would be included with pricing. If I opted for the outpatient route it would be about $770 while the hospitalization would be about $2,000. I am a millennial in my 30’s and like most dont have a significant savings built up. They told me that the hospitalization would be the gold standard and preferred route. Unfortunately I didnt get paid until monday and had to go with the outpatient route. Following my conversations with their team I felt a bit defeated and was second guessing whether I was financially fit to be a pet parent.Fast forward a few days and my little guy wasn’t doing any better despite fluid injections and medication. With a tiny bit more time to research I started looking at the google reviews and realized many others have had a similar experience who were in my situation (money). I will say that the team at Four Seasons was great to work with but this place seems better suited for those who don’t have any issues with money. I don’t believe that my experience justified a one star review and think that a 2.5 star option would be better suited. I was able to get into another animal hospital in Fort Collins who set the bar extremely high and was $1,200 CHEAPER for x-rays, bloodwork and a hospital stay with IV fluids. The customer service exceeded that of Four Seasons and my little guy is on his way to a full recovery.I personally dont think the staff at Four Seasons should bear the burden of their extremely high pricing. Rather, those who set the pricing, who I would assume have no interactions with our pets, who dont fully understand the struggle of lower and middle class citizens. I find it mystifying as to why their pricing is so much higher when I was able to get better service with the same care at a significantly lower price. By better service I mean it was more personal at the other urgent care and I was updated throughout the process. I even received a call the next day to make sure everything was going well with my little guy. This is something I feel Four Seasons should implement considering their pricing. If you have the time, I would most certainly recommend doing some research and really dive into those google reviews to find people that may be in a similar financial situation as you. We all have different stories and unfortunately for me Four Seasons just didn’t fit the bill. I hope with more honest reviews the executive team at Four Season will realize they can still be a profitable business with fair pricing and ultimately save more lives.I am sure I will get a generic response form Four Seasons saying something like “we are sorry you feel our prices are unfair but we strive to provide the best quality service and are glad you found the care your pet deserved…” But I would rather see this brought to the executive team with a better explanation of why they feel their facility can justify charging $1,200 more for the same services as another.
Dr. Pappart and the emergency team saw my dog for neurological issues and a seizure yesterday. The team was professional, communicative, caring, and very understanding. I immediately felt as if my baby girl was in good hands the moment I talked to the team, they definitely made a difficult and scary experience a lot more tolerable. Thank you!
I have always been bery happy with the care my dog has received at 4 Seasons. They try to work you into their schedule ASAP in the event of an emergency. The staff is courteous and helpful. The reports that are sent to my vet are done promptly and are very thorough. I will continue to bring my animals to 4 Seasons whenever the need arises.
After a month of trying to figure out what was happening to my dog the internal medicine folks were able to determine the cause, although the outcome was not favorable at least we now know what we are dealing with. The care and communication were exceptional. I would recommend their services!
Four Seasons was the only place within an hour that could get me in in under 4 hours at 10 pm on a Saturday night. They took such good care of my pup efficiently and affordably. Cannot thank them enough!!
My precious puppy and I had a great experience at Four Seasons. They were very understanding of my concerns and did everything possible to make sure we were both comfortable. They have my vote for best in Loveland.
My yorkie nearly drowned yesterday l. We did cpr and mouth to mouth until she was back and breathing in my arms. I read n line that dogs can have a dry drowning if all the water isn’t expelled and they can get an infection in their lungs and should be looked over by a vet. Took her to Four Seasons and now wished I hadn’t. Since the moment we arrived they told me she had less than 50/50 chance and then gave me papers to sign of what first days charges would be and the second day charges and immediately charged my card $3528 for the first 8 hours Said Two days and it would be $7000. They put her in an oxygen tank and put an IV in her to keep her hydrated and then called me a couple hours later to say that now she has less than 20% chance. I ask what they were doing about the water in her lungs and she said they were going to start her on lasix diuretic. Don’t know why that was not started immediately. After I explained to the doctor that I want the best care for my dog but do not want unnecessary tests to run up the bill as my husband is fighting stage 4 cancer, he suggested that what’s best for our family was to euthanize her. I said I was not ready to talk euthanasia if she has a chance and he kept saying euthanasia was our best option. Three hours later we got a call that she had gone into cardiac arrest twice and thought she should be euthanized. Our whole conversations with the staff there was all about money I had to ask them several times what was being done to get the water out of her lungs as I though that was priority. The nurse said that will happen on its own thru time. My little girl did not have time. She died shortly after midnight within 8 hours of us handing over. This is the worst thing to lose your beloved pet. Think twice before leaving your pets here. Read the reviews.
I had a great experience at Four Seasons. My 12 year old cat Emma had bad teeth and after a referral from her mobile vet Dr. Melora I took her in. They examined her and and gave me a thorough consultation. The procedure and pricing was very clear. I took Emma back in to have the procedure done. I and it I was nervous for the dental surgery, but my fears were eased by Dr. Clarence having performed thousands of these procedures. Nurse/assistant Lisa was also great in easing my concerns. Emma was out of surgery earlier than expected and the price was about 30-35% lower than the intial quoted range. Emma came home and was eating within an hour which is significant after having about 8 diseased molars removed. The pain meds helped. She is happy and healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Clarence, Lisa, the staff, and Four Seasons for your family pets. Quality organization.
The folks at 4 Seasons are wonderful. There was 1 vet tech who rubbed me a little wrong but everyone else was on their A game. So challenging for them to work with all the COVID protocols but they made the best of it that they could. Thank you for making my baby well!
I called to try to get my dog, who was diagnosed with a life threatening uterine infection, pyometria, the care she needed and I was told they ‘we don’t do that kind of thing here’. Emergency surgery, you don’t do that at an emergency vet? Where I was referred by my vet?? How is this an emergency vet?!? Ridiculous.
I just love Four Seasons. The staff and doctors are top notch and take extra special care of my fur baby. Can’t say enough about the oncology department. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Our girl Cali was just there recently, she has a torn CCL. She was taken care of very well, great staff. Cali will be having surgery soon.
There aren’t enough stars to rate this vet, Danny is the best vet I have ever been to. Very very kind and caring people that work there. Had to rush my 16 week old Aussie to them because the got a hook in his paw. They were quick very help full and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. Very very pleased and will definitely make them my number one emergency and also normal vet.
We could not be more impressed with the quality of care from the Four Seasons Oncology doctors and staff. Specifically Dr. Faulhaber and Jess. Our pitbull, Josie, was diagnosed with cancer and the team took such amazing care of her through the end. They clearly cared so deeply about our pup and wanted to make sure she was as comfortable as possible through this challenging time. At the outset, Dr. Faulhaber sat with me in person for an entire hour explaining everything and answering all of my questions. Despite how busy she was, she made me feel like our dog was her top priority. The techs routinely called to check up on Josie and answer any questions we had. They always presented with a range of treatments and went into detail about the pros and cons of each. I truly cannot recommend this place enough--if your pup has cancer, the Four Seasons Oncology Team is the best!
Very caring, very attentive, they took great care of Remy.
It’s difficult to find a vet for an emergency situation but this group was able to accommodate me for my 8.5 week old puppy that stopped eating/drinking and was lethargic. Provided prompt and great care which allowed me to take him home right away. Within hours, my puppy was back to being ‘zoomie’! I’d use them again!!
This place cares more about money than anything. They wanted to charge 7,000 to remove a sponge from my dogs stomach. 2,000 to perform cpr and also 2,000 to stay over night. How do these people say they want to help animals? How do you sleep at night? Greedy business. Absolutely disgusting. Happy we went somewhere else after our dogs $500 x rays.
I am beyond grateful for the Emergency Care team! They took amazing care of my 15 year old dog that I have had since I was 9. They completed a thorough check of him after he’d fallen of the bed and was in pain. Come to find out that there was a sling infection that I wouldn’t have caught if I didn’t bring him in. Thank you Four Seasons!
Amazing experience with my two English bulldogs, Marley and Frank. Each fur baby needed different surgeries (TPLO and a prolapsed urethra surgery). Dr. Lineberger and the surgerical team at Four Seasons are unbelievably talented, professional and thorough. We are lucky to live so close to this clinic.
My precious dog and I always receive amazing care and friendly service from all of the wonderful staff at 4 Seasons Veterinary Specialists. Because of these people my dog is still with me, healthy and happy. Thank you!
The vet who treated my sweet furry friend at Four Seasons was wonderful...sharing information with me in a way I could understand. She gave me treatment options and costs for each so I could choose which approach o pursue. The techs were wonderful, too. I can tell they love the pets that come to them. I highly recommend Four Seasons for specialty pet care.
Myself as well as a few friends have all had the same experience with the staff here. They care more about money than the wellbeing of the animals. When I brought my dog in after being attacked by another dog he had extreme swelling of the brain and they werent sure if he would make it. Instead of answering my questions and telling me how he was doing all they wanted to know is how I would pay them. If its an option I highly advise taking your pets somewhere else. Four Seasons sees them as money and not as family.
I went here as a referral from a local vets office that was booked. My cat had been exhibiting weird symptoms, he lost his meow! I called 3 vets and no one had any clue as to what could be wrong. 4 seasons got all of his back ground info and expressed all possible scenarios that could cause this, advised me on all of my options and sent my and my kitteh home in good health. At the cheapest ER Ive ever been to, they are amazing. Easy, low traffic so I got in right away, and they had a wonderful contact less covid friendly environment. 10/10 would recommend
Staff and Doctor was amazing we have a vet plan with banfield but they coukd not get Nala in for an emergency today so we came here. Staff and doctors have been amazing and showed they cared about my dog more than anything else. We could not afford the full procedure they recommended as we could do some things tomorrow at banfield when they get us in. But even when we explained price was more than we had they discussed multiple other options to make sure she left comfortable and clean for the night. You know emergency vets are a little more when you go but this place showed they really care about the pet not the money. I hope I never have an emergency again but woukd recommend for sure.
My best friend of 11 years was diagnosed with cancer. After surgically removing her 1st mast cell tumor another one came back within a few months. My vet suggested we go to Four Seasons oncology department. We met with Dr Erica Faulhaber and she was absolutely wonderful. She explained our options for treatment. Unfortunately the 2nd tumor wasnt operable due to its placement under/inside Kennas shoulder. We did steroid treatment which dramatically shrunk the tumor and allowed my girl to walk normally again. She was able to run and play again for about 2 months. We knew the cancer had spread to her liver and spleen and she didnt have much time left. The technicians called me every single week to see how my girl was doing and to see if there was anything they could do to help. When the time finally came for her to leave this world Dr Faulhaber met with us outside the facility in the grass on a beautiful sunny morning. She sat with us in the grass as we all comforted Kenna in her last moments. I will always remember how companionate she was towards all of us. I wish she practiced as a regular vet and not just an oncologist because I would take all my pets to her for the rest of time. Thank you all for being so wonderful in the worst time of my life. I will be forever grateful to you and the staff. 💜
Cheaper then any urgent care around, I called every where trying to get our sick pug puppy seen, noone had openings and most 24 hr places wanted to charge us $300 for initial visit + anything needed. Here the visit was $110. Dr.and staff were AMAZING !!! So kind and helpful and knowledgeable. Im so glad we were referred here . And after the medication subscribed our puppy is 100%better !!
We brought our dog in that had been attacked by two other dogs. We got him into our car and he was barely alive, bleeding everywhere, throat was tore open. Meanwhile my kids are screaming and crying, it was traumatic. This place wouldnt even help him at all until they got paid. $3,000 we had to come up with while he layed there bleeding. We did the pet credit and all they gave us was $500 which took more time to apply and then a good man we know helped. I was so frustrated cause all they cared about was money first and our dog could have died. We will never bring our animals back!
We brought our dog, Sam, here for an oncology consult after a blood test revealed his illness might be cancer. Although the diagnosis was the worst conceivable (acute leukemia), I could not speak more highly of Dr. Faulhaber, Dr. Biller, and Annie our vet tech. They made sure we understood what was happening at every step, what options were available to us and, most importantly, spoke with a degree of kindness and compassion that I have rarely encountered elsewhere.
The issues with my pet are ongoing; however, so far everyone at this facility is professional, knowledgeable, and seems to genuinely care about me and my pet.
Wonderful and professional care!
They helped us work through a kitty crisis quickly. Dr. Garbino has excellent diagnostic observations and communicates very well.
Weve been here a few times, and this place is quite honestly the worst emergency vet weve ever been to. Second visit was benefit of the doubt, but we will not be coming here again - we will take the drive to Windsor. Theres a serious time management problem here, or maybe its staffing, they take hours just to update you, let alone do a test. If youre there for an emergency, you want to know as soon as you can if your pet is OK!!!! For tests, if a time frame is promised to you, add another hour on top of it. Added to that, they price gouge you like no other, you WILL end up with a whopping bill if you get emergency services here. If you can manage to go to a different vet, Id highly recommend it.
Very special people, caring for our sick pets. Our cat was extremely sick with kidney failure. The staff was awsome in caring for her. Sadly we had to do the unwanted. We had to put her down. Most professional group of people. Thank you in this difficult time.
This place was amazing! I took my cat in at 1015 and was done by 11. They took amazing care of her and the price was about the same as a regular vet visit. The doctor spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me (due to covid) explaining everything from causes to symptoms to treatments and gave me an honest recommendation without trying to up sell me. And they called a few days later to check on her. I was very impressed and even though I hope I don’t have to go here again, if I need an emergency vet I will definitely choose this place again.
The staff was super friendly and was very detailed in their explanation of how they would be treating my cat. I never once felt worried for my cats wellbeing and would highly recommend Four Seasons to anyone looking for a vet.
Our Anubis was very, very sick and after doing bloodwork with our vet we scheduled an ultrasound ASAP with Four Seasons Veterinary. They were EXTREMELY helpful getting us an appointment and even put a rush it. They take their jobs seriously, very professional, and treat the pets like their own. Unfortunately our Anubis crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few days after the ultrasound; however, with Dr Lowrys expertise we were told that his liver and spleen were swollen and had pancreatitis. We got answers for why our boys health declined so badly.Highly recommend this team and will return if ANY of our other pets need it.
Never in my life have I ever been treated like a second rate citizen! My dog had been having stomach problems for a bout a week. She had been throwing up and was having issues passing Bowles. They did some x rays and found out the she had swallowed a rock and was going to need to have surgery to have it removed. The surgery was going to cost $5,000. That is when the poor service started showing up.As soon as my boyfriend and I told her that we didnt have $5,000 right off the bat, but did tell her that we do have pet insurance, they did basically nothing to try to help us file a claim with the pet insurance. All they would do was hand us a list of low cost animal wellness places (BASED OUT OF DENVER) that could help us out. I called every single one on the list and have not received a response back from any of them.I ended up calling my regular vet (Dr Mickey Wiltz out of Big Thompson Animal Hospital) and he is willing to work with me. Dr Wiltz came out and told me that he is more concerned about the wellness of my dog than he is about the money...which was not the feeling I got from Four Seasons. All they cared about was the money.Bottom line, dont go here, period. They really do not care about your pet. All they care about is money and if you have the money to give to them. If you have the money, then, of course, they are going to love and take care of your pet and bend over backwards for you and your pet. But the second you dont have $5,000 to give them right away, you are a low class nobody who does not belong in their clinic.
I brought my senior dog here in an absolute panic, and everyone at Four Seasons was so reassuring and communicated with me so well, that it really helped calm me down in that situation. They were great with my dog and I definitely trust their expertise!
I cannot say enough how absolutely amazing this place is. The staff is so caring and attentive. Ive only used their emergency services 3 times in probably 3 years - all of which were incredibly upsetting with lots of tears. Their calming nature was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend them for such happenings. Keep being awesome, guys.
I did not have a good experience, I waited with my sick dog in the car for 1 1/2. He was tested and nothing came up, also missed diagnosed with Gastrointestinal and he clearly had a respiratory condition. 104 temp ... called all weekend as he deteriorated severely and was told “ you would have to pay” after already paying $1100 for Friday’s visit . Vet techs were not helpful, no insight at all. Turns out he has Lupus.. very disappointed with Four Seasons and broke after $1100 with no answers .
Four seasons was able to save the life of my Yorkshire terrier who came to me with a severely damaged rectum. They have been able to open it up and prescribe meds and laxatives that have greatly increased his quality of life. Their staff is always very professional and caring towards their clients. I highly recommend this clinic for any specialty medical needs. I now see why CSU recommended them to me.
Dr. Lineberger did excellent work on my cat. She gets her stitches out in about a week and she is handling this experience so much better than a surgery that was done elsewhere. Shes all perky, her incision area looks great, and shes eating normally. Also, Dr. Lineberger is personable and I enjoyed chatting with him on the phone. I would certainly recommend! Actually, Four Seasons as a whole has been great experience. Dr. Halpin was also wonderful!
My pup and I were referred to Dr. Brownlee in Internal Medicine. I did a Telemed appointment to begin with. It went very well. Dr. Brownlee was awesome. We then went in for more tests. The entire staff has been caring, helpful and professional. The clinics prices are very reasonable also. Thanks to all at Four Seasons!
Last Saturday we had a puppy get bit, so we called this place and they told us there was no wait. It shouldve been a sign to us to leave after waiting 45 minutes in the vehicle after arrival. We then proceeded to wait two hours before they even called about the cut and what the plan was, after we agreed to the proper treatment, $119, they would have her done after 30 minutes. Well another hour had passed and they finally were done, along with a bill of $380... Asked for a discount due to the time run-around and they magically couldnt get ahold of upper management. They were supposed to call back and never did.I highly recommend another place, as most reviews are right.
Great ppl so far in helping us with our questions
Four Seasons was very helpful. They were able to get us in on a Sunday and gave my puppy the care that he needed.
The staff is exceptional - everyone is so kind and caring and its apparent that there is love for your four legged child. My pup Scarlett had bilateral TPLO surgery in July and was in the hospital for 2 days. She received such great, attentive care and I appreciate that they let me visit a couple of times a day. She needs a little PT but is able to jump on the bed and into the car like she used to and we went on a hike the other day! Very grateful to Four Seasons, Dr Britt and the staff for the kindness theyve shown us. This is the way a pet hospital should feel.
Of course, its difficult and scary anytime a pet requires emergency care. However, when needed, I strongly recommend Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists! The entire staff is always courteous and helpful which may help you feel more comfortable during a stressful time. The doctors and technicians are extremely knowledgeable, warm, friendly and understanding of your concerns and questions. They take time with you and explain thoroughly the procedures they will follow with your pet.
They were both professional and personable. I would highly recommend Four Seasons. I have never been so pleased with emergency care. They were responsive and caring and so very loving to my precious puppy. Phenomenal staff and team. If you love your furry ones please know this is the place to go.
Four Seasons saved my young Chihuahua Hanley after an automobile accident. I was driving and my Hanley suffered a brain injury when he flew off the front seat and hit his head on the windshield. Amongother treatments, the vet neurologist treated him in an oxygen chamber. I wish I knew more details, but I was in the human hospital myself. Three years later Hanley is healthy and happy and mentally alert. I am forever grateful Four Seasons.
I,m not sure how this place maintains such a high rating. Maybe it was just who was on staff Friday night the 1st. My daughter had to take 3 1/2 lb Chihuahua (Lemon) in for intestinal problems. I wont go on and on but the simple fact is they kept Lemon overnight after leaving my daughter sit in their parking lot until 3 a.m. When we went back Saturday evening to pick her up they charged $2,200 and gave a guess as to what might have been wrong. If that isnt bad enough, they said that Lemon was too wiggly and when they pulled out the IV they tore her little leg so bad that they had to put a staple in it! The staple is half the diameter of her little leg. There were also several nicks and cuts on her tummy from a razor blade they used to shave her. I have all the pictures. Im happy to share them. I dont want this happening to another animal! Can you imagine going into an emergency room and leaving the next day with a staple half the diameter of your leg stuck in you? Would you sue? Unbelievable. Never again. Stay away from these hacks.
My dog ingested philodendron leaves and they walked me through what signs and symptoms to watch for. Also, they are very caring and professional. I highly recommend this clinic.
Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists has been my veterinary center since coming to the front range three years ago. They have provided my pets with routine monitoring, emergency diagnostics and advanced surgeries. From check in procedures through appointments, explanation of findings and emailed results post visit they are thorough and professional, making sure you understand what is happening, what has been found and what can be done. I have had the pleasure of interacting with staff members including owners, veterinary assistants, surgeons, radiologists, certified veterinary technicians, and receptionists. They are all highly trained, competent caring and compassionate. I trust them. And I am a veterinarian.
Dr J Lineberger was phenomenal!!! I have never had such a positive experience with any kind of doctor in my life. He was so thorough and patient answering every single question I had about my dogs condition. He did a great job diagnosing an issue with my dog none of the previous doctors had suspected before, which totally changed the treatment plan and ended up postponing a surgery she may not actually need. I am so grateful! All of the staff here were super friendly and helpful. Great experience all around!
Four seasons is amazing! We live in Fort Collins, but it’s worth the drive down to Loveland because you will not find more caring vets/techs/staff than this place. My ~12 year old fur baby has needed some serious specialist help and long term general monitoring over the past few years. Four seasons, particularly Dr. Falhaber, has helped us through all of it, even the tough decisions. On top of first rate care, their services are competitively priced. Taking good care of an older doggo can be expensive, but they don’t nickel and dime you and are transparent up front about costs. Anytime our current (or future) furry family members need a specialist - this is where we’re going!
They are taking great care of my Cocker, Bailey. I am praying that the results are not cancerous.
The oncologists and their team are an excellent group to work with. We had spent four months going through the CHOP procedure and feel extremely fortunate to have had them as our team. They had also been very open to administering T-cell infusions for the first time. Despite never having performed this procedure at their clinic before it had been performed perfectly from start to finish. The laboratory (separate agency that creates the T-cells)had even commented on how the blood had been harvested correctly and that it had made their work much more successful. The office staff had also been very helpful and extremely nice to talk with on all of our visits to the clinic. The staff truly care about your fury family members and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them for any of your pets needs.
Wonderful place for sick pets. We love four seasons
Everyone at Four Seasons was wonderful. Great staff. They took excellent care of my dog and made sure that I understood what was going to happen. Very pleased!!!My dog is healing nicely and thanks to the wonderful care she received from Four Seasons!!
Four Seasons has come to my aid with more than one of my pets because of an emergency. They have excellent, knowledgeable staff and are always patient and empathetic. I’ve never had a doctor or technician that I didn’t think was the best at Four Seasons and my pets are frequent visitors. I highly recommend them!
We have taken our 12-year old dog to Four Seasons twice - once for a major problem with his liver and the second time because he ate something he shouldnt have and needed surgery. Both times we were beyond pleased with the service provided from Four Seasons! We trust the vets there completely and our sweet boy has recovered incredibly well. The staff at Four Seasons go above and beyond in all aspects. Thanks so much for your help!
Excellent care and prognosis. A caring staff that is flexible and does everything they can to help you. Hands down the best in the area. My heart goes out to all of them that work there.
I took my cat in for an ultrasound. I wasnt sure how well the appointment was going to go. The staff did an amazing job handling and caring for her. It was great to be able to stay in the room with her and see everything that was going on. You could tell that they handle animals with love and care.
My husband & I have unfortunately made several visits to Four Seasons Veterinary Hospital. Each time they have done an Amazing & Caring job with our dogs. I have complete confidence in the staff & doctors there. I Highly recommend Four Seasons Veterinary Hospital!
Our pets are our children. My little girl took sick and on June 5, 2019, I was referred to Four Seasons by a vet I never have gone to before. When I took her there, the hospital felt very cold, unfriendly, uncaring. They took my little girl to the back. My husband and I were taken to a room where we waited and waited. We finally walked out to the front when a lady came out and said they were almost done taking blood work and who knows what else they did to her. Put back into the room, where we waited and waited again. Finally we asked for my baby girl back. The doctor came and spoke with us and gave us a list of blood work, etc they wanted to do to my little girl for over $6,000.00. We said no, when they handed my baby girl back to me I was told, If you leave here with your dog, she could have sudden death. Broke my heart, prayed I was making the right decision. We took my little girl to our vet on June 10, 2019 to lay her to rest and found out by Four Seasons medical records that she had cancer. Our vet told us no amount of money or anything we could have done would have saved her. Four Seasons just wanted the money!!! Do they think we are stupid? While we were there, saw about 3 other customers coming in with there animals to leave in tears. my heart is broken,, I lost my little girl, but I want everyone to know, Do Not trust this place. This place is all about the money, NOT your beautiful loved one. It broke my heart when they handed my beautiful girl back to me and her eyes were so sad like I betrayed her. This place should be investigated for fraud. They did not even deserve one star but I had no choice in order to post this. Prayers to all the parents who have gone to Four Seasons and went through this.
We recently, unfortunately, had the opportunity to have our puppy be seen by Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists. The staff were very kind and understanding to us as owners and loving to our puppy. I could not have asked for better nurses and doctors during this time for us. I have come to the conclusion that although not all “human” doctors are bad, veterinarians have gone into the field LOVING animals and therefore give them the best care. We have been very pleased with the service we have received!
The group at 4 Seasons is always super happy and helpful with Dillon. He’s been in once for an emergency and again for separate check ups. Each time they’re always welcoming and cheerful. Always confident taking our dog to see them.
Update: I spoke with someone who asked me more about this interaction. I asked about only a partial refund as it was over 100 dollars for a 5-8 min appointment, and she said the dental office would be in charge of that, I let her know I would love for them to reach out regarding this. And I have NOT recieved a call from them, waste of money and disappointed as I was only asking for partial.I wanted to write this review to help others think of checking out different options.I have never been to this facility before but was recommended by my vets. I live 45 mins away so I left early and got to the appointment early. I parked in a spot and called the number on the sign to ask what the procedures were since I had arrived. I spoke to someone on the phone and first let them know I was early, then asked what the procedures were. The reply I got was what do you mean procedures. As this is a business that has taken extra precautions because of COVID19 I thought my question was quite obvious. So I explained further by asking if I bring my dog to the door, if i stay here ect. She was able to elaborate and then put me on hold to speak with the dentist team.I waited and they had to call me back as they were checking someone else in. The second person I spoke with put my initial concerns to rest (as I thought the first person was a little rude about the procedures part) she explained that it was a 30 min appointment, they would examine her tooth and we would go from there. I let her know about my dog being extremely anxious and nervous in situation like these and I would prefer to be there with her if possible, she said she would ask which was nice. A little bit of back story with my pupper, I adopted her and have been working with her anxiety and anxiousness and I use a harness ( like a thunder jacket, pressure helps her feel comfortable) and she is used to a gentle leader for walking. When the tech approached my car she had a slip lead which are notorious for dogs getting out of. I was not comfortable with that at all and should have said something ( as i25 is right there) my dog was scared but walked her to the door. Then the tech had me take her collar and harness off which I didnt understand why ( if its covid related, makes no since because they take a credit card back which covid stays on plastic longer than a leash fabric)Since I was told it was a 30 min appointment I went to the nearest restroom which was a kum and go across the street. Not even 5-8 mins later i get a call where the tech asks if I have left the facility. First it came off in a rude tone, second I had asked 2 separate people what the procedure was and they never told me to stay put And I was told it was a 30 min appointment not a 5-8 min one. I let her know that I wanted to meet my dog at the door so I can put her harness on to get My dog back safely to my car. I had not even put the car in park when the dentist came out with her. Also I forgot to note that the second tech on the phone said the doc would not come out because of the smoke from fires, but there she was. So at this point I really didnt even want to hear anymore and just wanted to go. They charged way too much for a 5- 8 min exam and I wish I read others comments on the money part of things. All in all I was not impressed with their customer service and their explanation of their covid policies. Dogs are not one size fits all, and they had no regard for the safety measures I wanted for my dog, as dogs get out of slip leads easily, and they didnt even wait for me to get my dog. Her harness also serves as a part where her seat belt attaches too. Too expensive for such little service. Sorry its lengthy but it was just frustrating.
