Unfortunately, my experience with Budget-Loveland was similar to others. Reserved a truck more than a week in advance, got the reminder emails, etc. Morning of rental pick up, office was locked up, sign on the door indicating they were at another location, called cell phone listed, no answer. Waited a few minutes, called again, was told they didnt have a truck available for me. Said they tried to contact me about an hour before pickup to tell me, but somehow I didnt get that call or voicemail. I was told I had to call their 1-800 number to see if customer service could help.Regardless, finding out a truck was not available an hour before pick up would not have helped, as we had people lined up to help move. Luckily, there is a UHaul dealer located less than a mile away (10900 Loveland-Madeira Rd) that had a similar vehicle available and were very helpful (and as it turns out, less expensive). Would definitely use the UHaul dealer in the future. Budget...not so much.Oh, Budget did end up finding a truck for me 1.5hrs after my initial pick-up time...27 miles our of our way. No thanks. Had this been a weekend, its very possible that Uhaul vehicles would have been all booked and we would have been screwed. I get the feeling that the individual location employees are at the mercy of their fleet managers and scheduling system, which apparently has major flaws.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We went to this rental location because the price was cheaper. Definitely not worth it. The first time we rented was in January 2021, I selected a 8 passenger premium SUV. We arrived to pick up the SUV, its NOT an 8 seater, it had some slimy film all over the windows, COVERED in dog hair. Store worker said it was cleaned and didnt notice it wasnt an 8 seater. I took it and cleaned it(We were leaving the next day and didnt have a choice). I was told we would receive some kind of credit and a free upgrade on our next rental. We never received any credit or free upgrade. Fast forward to July. We requested a 12 passenger van. (We were hoping to get our free upgrade plus credit). The store called 4:45pm the day before we were to pick up car (they closed at 5) to tell us policy has changed and they needed different payment options. We live over 40 minutes away and couldnt get to them before they closed. They had to clear our payment with their corporate office. We go to pick up the vehicle and thankfully they have our 12 passenger van. Once again it wasnt cleaned. Not even a full tank of gas. We had to leave in 2 hours to make our trip or we wouldnt have taken the van. We took the van and cleaned it and much as we could before we left. I am soooo disappointed in the service at this location. We definitely wont be back. I will go back to enterprise and pay more. We never received our first credit or upgrade like they said. We asked about it and even though they remembered us, they wouldnt honor it. Like I said, we wont be back and I dont recommend this location at all.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Had a van reserved for 3 months and they call me twice the week of to verify my pickup. The day came they call me 1 hr before to tell me they don’t have my rental and apparently budget is not in the car rental business bc they offered nothing other than to eat it. I had the feeling the mouth breather in loveland would throw a wrench in my vacation. they don’t give u another option and i would never give the loveland branch my business again. I would give them a negative star if i could. the fact is when they reached out to me budget could’ve gave me a 2 day heads up to find another car not 30 min before i had to drive their to pick it up.

The guy up front was very nice.

My girlfriend rented from here. The door and website says they’re open at 8am. Pick up time was at 8am. The store doesn’t actually open until 9am. Ridiculous

SoTSo the front guy is named Chuck and he is the management idk what kind of place this is but we are on the phone as I write this and they say they dont even see the $1100 dollars on any of the screens and that goes for budget at the LOVELAND LOCATION OR EVEN THE CUSTOMER SERVICEPOOR SERVICE IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFEespecially for having this rental only 3 days over and they charged us almost $1100 even tho the rental agreement says it will be 150$ a day and the vehicle was taken back two days prior... They will do you bad like this during #COVID19 AND this is the time we need to be together not doing people in PANDEMIC

The owner was wonderful! Very friendly. answered all my questions, explained everything in great detail, and helped guide me as I backed out a 26 foot truck! Would rent here again in a heartbeat.

We use this Budget location most often than any other rental car company for our vacation rental car needs and will probably continue to do so. They generally price comparatively to others in the area that we call and are by far the closest to our familys home here in Loveland. The same gentleman has helped us here each time we have rented. He is quick to get us on the road during checkout which I personally appreciate and is very friendly and has always treated us well. The vehicles we have rented here have been clean and our experience with them has been very positive. On our familys most recent rental, initially a larger vehicle was not available for our trip. When we arrived to pick up we were happy to find that an unexpected return had brought a larger vehicle to the location. It was cleaned and ready to go if we wanted it for a very small fee (cheaper than what the charge would have been had we initially rented the larger vehicle). Very pleased with the service here each and everytime we decide to rent and were always glad we did. A++

****STAY AWAY!!!! Ordered a 26 Budget truck online a week in advance, called the loveland, Ohio pickup location the day before, told NO truck available tomorrow, would have to drive 50 Miles to pick up. They did not inform me, good thing I called them or would of cost me much more!Manager called me from another state, basically said Sorry about your luck! (Could of cared less!!)Cost me lots of money! Will be looking at options to recover .

I recently rented a full size sedan car from this location for my vacation in Florida, and very happy with customer service, it exceeded my expectations. I will recommend my frends to rent car from Budget and will do myself in future. Good job guys!

A new Budget/Avis location in Loveland is a time saver for me for sure. Friendly helpful staff and easy in and out. So glad to have one in our city.

Overall I am satisfied with the rental I made, just a little disappointed that the satellite radio I paid for never worked, and when I returned the car, they charged me a random $1.16. I asked what this charge was and they couldnt give me an explanation, and I spoke to 2 different people. They were suppose to refund me the $1.16 but never did.

Man at desk was very polite both at check in and check out. Asked for a camery got an equinox which was great for the space I will use this location again in the future.

Ive always used uhaul but they didnt have a truck available so I checked out budget. They were much less expensive and when hey didnt have the right truck...upgraded us for free!

Before booking, when I called them, they assured me a free pick and drop. However, after booking they changed their statement. They did not keep their promise. In fact, they cheated me by making false commitments. Even, the car was not good. We were unable to close the window. It was a very bad experience.

We have used this location twice and love it. We have always gotten a great ride and the customer service is perfect! Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Very poor services. No trucks at site, they never honored online reservation & admitted their online systems are complete disconnect from reality at centre. Had to book last minute alternate for my movement.

This place will Lie to you!!! They will tell you its this price and when you go to rent your vehicle it will be jacked up $100-$200 more, so be prepared! They tell you that you have to have a credit score of 600 plus, we have a 700 plus credit score and were denied renting here! We had my Mother rent it for us and she was working and came straight from work and by this time we were already 4 hours behind schedule!!! We finally got our vehicle and it still had trash in it! They ran a vaccume over it and handed us the keys!!! At this point we did not care!!! We just wanted to get on the road!!!

Great location and very friendly people

An insurance charge that I didnt authorize, 7/8 tank when contract showed full tank, car not clean. No way to remedy (even with several calls to Budget Customer Service and Loveland not answering multiple calls during business hours) without driving back there, which I could not do.
