It is a very rare occasion for which I write a bad review for a place, but everyone should be aware of the condescending, unprofessional doctor who does these removals. He really needs to understand this his personal opinions about tattoos should be left out of the conversation. Pressuring me with condescending remarks is not a method that works to obtain my business. He actually had the nerve to suggest that my other option would be a finger amputation that insurance would not cover! Yes, I kid you not! Not a funny joke, if that is what he meant it as. In the end, I chose not to go with him and keep my wedding ring tattoo for which he had so much disdain, but I did not have the same feeling about it. It is very special to me.History:I called the office regarding removing a 1 diameter wedding ring tattoo. The doctor called me back himself and asked me to text a photo of the tattoo and he could give me a price on removal. I happen to like the tattoo and am happily married, just thought the quality could be better, so thought of possibly removing it and getting it redone.On the phone, I told him exactly this and he went into a monologue about how in the old days men got down on their knees and gave a real ring when proposing to the woman. And how now-a-days they just give a gift certificate to Tattoo Charlies. I told him that it was my idea to get the tattoo wedding rings and that my husband actually proposed to me at a castle and gave me a very nice diamond ring, as well.He texted me the price of $99 per treatment. I didnt respond. He asked me the next day if I had called the office to schedule the appointment yet.This was the rest of the conversation which happened through text.Me: I have to think about whether or not that is what I want to or not. Its a very small tattoo, 1 in diameter, and it would probably cost more than Id want to pay to have it removed.Doctor: Here is some background information. The laser itself is a $100,000 device. The cryo 6 is a $5,000 device. The maintenance cost for both is $3,000 a year. Tell everyone that you know that is considering a tattoo to consider these issues.Me: I understand your costs, but it is still a personal decision on how much I want to pay all together and whether it is worth it to me or not at the time. Life is a balancing act.Doctor: I completely understand. From all that I have learned with this stuff, I advise folks to go with the jewelry store option for a wedding band rather that the tattoo shop option.Me: Lol, I get it. I actually like my tattoo ring and prefer it over a real ring, just wished they had done a little better job on it. Maybe Ill just get it touched up! I am very much happily married. Take care.Doctor: Ask the tattoo artist if he or she would prefer a laser treatment or two to lighten it before they touch it up. Stay happily married. As a hand surgeon, I doubt that your medical insurance would cover a finger amputation for cosmetic reasons. Smiley face.Seriously! Use this doctor at your own risk!

Doc is a good guy I’m sure but the first time I went he unprofessionally talked bad about other plastic surgeons, and asked me if I had a kid cause I have some stretch marks (I lost 100 lbs and that’s why). I took a while to go back and when I did he was a little condescending because of that. He made jokes about my career I didn’t appreciate, and started to remove part of a tattoo that I explicitly didnt want but still charged full price. We may just have different sense of humors but I didn’t appreciate it. I definitely won’t be going back for a third treatment.

I’m very happy with my results of my laser tattoo removal. My neck tattoo is almost gone after the first session. Dr Cummins was easy to get along with. Thank you I will be back for my second session.

I had my tattoo removed by another place but hardly had any Results and it was super painful ... by far was this better he made you feel comfortable and it was pain free.. still no pain and trust me when I tell you it hurts bad from other places I would recommend him to anybody if you have a tattoo you need removed go to this man !!!! I’m gonna need to get a couple more sessions done and I have no fear going back like I did at the other places pretty amazing I just wanna thank him!!!!

The best by far!! I have had 5 visits and I am extremely pleased! The prices are excellent (1/2 of what you would pay elsewhere) and the equipment is state of the art. Ive been going for over a year and Dr. Cummins removed a tattoo with a horrible memory Id been dying to get rid of. They went in really deep on the tattoo so I figured it would take for ever. After my first treatment it was really going away. Im done now and I have my left hand ring finger back. I can get engaged with a real ring now and its all because he does exceptional work and truly cares about his patients. He is not dishonest whatsoever. Great guy and great business.

The first couple of treatments went well. My tattoo was nearly gone. Pain wasnt too bad. I had paid up-front for 4 treatments, and once I completed them, I stopped going. I had a little bit of ink left on my skin, but I wanted to restart the treatment plan once I saved up enough money. Dr. Cummins called me a couple of times to see if I was willing to come back for a touch-up. I agreed when he said hed treat the last one on-the-house. After my last treatment, Dr. Cummins charged me. I thought I misunderstood him at first since weve spoken on the phone at least twice, both times where he mentioned that hed be willing to give my last treatment on-the-house. He then gave me a discount (from $75 to $50), and we left it at that. I would have gladly paid for the treatment since I was planning to go back anyway in the future. I just didnt appreciate the dishonesty.

Should have not gotten the tattoo in the first place. So its nice to see it going away

Ive been going to see Dr Cummins for three treatments now and I have been extremely happy with the results. He takes great care to explain the process as your going through it; what the different lasers do, how to care after each session, and how the laser effects the ink. I looked at several different locations before settling on Dr Cummins and I am very happy that I did. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so.
