Home Instead is wonderful! My mom is in her 90s and requires someone to be with her most of the time. I called Home Instead, meet with them on a Thursday and they had the perfect match for mom on Monday. The lady who sits with mom is wonderful. My mom loves her and that says a lot! Mom did not want a sitter, she insisted she didnt need any help. It took two visits and mom looks forward to her friend coming to visit. Not sure if I can say moms friends name, but her initials are MW. Thank you M for being so good to my mom.

This group is so professional, caring, organized, so many positive adjectives! My mother had received help from two caregiver companies in the past with more than disastrous results. Home Instead, from the first moment of contact by phone with the receptionist, has proven to be the best possible choice. They listen to our concerns with empathy and respond quickly and completely. To say that our stress and anxiety have been reduced is an understatement. Mother feels not only cared for, but cared about; what else could we ask for. I had an issue with the aid being late, which caused me to be late to my deceased brothers visitation in Bardstown. A manager Chris said he would see whats going on and he would come if he had to. Never heard from him again I called back to speak to him and was given a case manager. Yes, I was upset and uttered a few curse words. My brother had died and I was unsure I was even going to make it to his visitation. I was admonished by the case manager. The scheduler also had an attitude. Very poor office staff. The aid was 45 minutes late.

After having worked at 3 local nursing homes, I am now so thankful for the opportunity to work with Home Instead. They truly care about providing the best care possible to their clients as well as providing support to their caregivers. The office is staffed with workers who are passionate about providing the best care and experience possible to all of our clients and their families.

Home Instead Senior Care has been a life saver for my family. With long term care options limited during the Coronavirus pandemic, the caregivers and management have allowed my father to stay home safely and give my mother the caregiving relief that she needs. They have been patient as we have struggled to adapt to the realities of requiring help. The caregivers are very professional and personable. Im really not sure what we would do if we didnt have them helping us.

I hired a companion-care lady from Home Instead for my Alzheimers handicapped wife. It gives me some respite and time to help me sit for a 2 year old grandson. She can drive my wife to some appointments as well as fix hair, go through photo albums, and listen to old music.

I was the health power surrogate for the client. My friend lived in Dudley Square and began using Home Instead for daytime care. My friend being in her 90’s soon needed 24 /7 care. Home Instead provided her with this service. The staff always ensured a caregiver would be at the client’s home. All the care givers were very caring people. This client could be difficult sometimes so there were some personality conflicts.Home Instead worked diligently to resolve any issues.After a year, the client had to be moved to Episcopal Church Home . The caregiver who had been with her from the beginning transitioned her to her new surroundings. Her dedication was invaluable..The staff kept me informed. Home Instead is providing a very much needed service. No, not everything is 100% perfect but Home Instead is a professional organization. I would recommend their services.everything is 100% perfect

Excellent best describes the care my Father received from Home Instead. Home Instead helped with my Father for over a year from a few hours a day to around the clock in the last weeks he lived. The caregivers were well trained, neat and clean, and gave him tender loving care. We have had several Home Instead caretakers and each have been excellent and professional. I am especially impressed that if there is a change in caretakers for some reason, they will call and let me know. Detailed reports by the caretaker helps me know what understand my Dads daily condition. I highly recommend!

Nice and clean area and surroundings. Employees are nice and friendly and helpful. Easy access to the area and easy to get there. Can be seen from the main road and plenty of parking and lots of stores in the area. Reasonable price and very clean and tidy. Come on over and get some help.

Pay is good.You want money u have to work hard! Not easy by far, Im there because of the patients. Just dont let them take advantage of you. I didnt. Get them hours believe me.

Recently I was invited to take a girls trip and needed someone to look after my Adult Special Needs daughter. Home Instead recently provided qualified and reliable care for my father for six weeks while he was recovering from an illnesses. They initially arrived on short notice and they were always there as promised. As much as possible, they provided caregivers that he grew to know and that was very comforting. My name is Mike and my grandfather is entering his final time here on earth after 95 years. After a 13 day stay in the ICU it was time to move him to his final resting place. His request was to finish his time at his home since 1953. After 2 days it became very apparent his wish could not be fulfilled by family due to the amount of 24 hour care that was needed. I began my research with friends who had experience within home care. A few names were discussed but the service from one company continue to surface. Those discussions lead me to Home Instead Senior Care. My first call to their contact information was answered by Becky Beanblossom. She was kind, considerate and professional in the discussions I was having in a very trying time with an urgency to have needs met for my grandfather. Becky quickly worked with me during the New Years Eve holiday to format a plan to get a nurse in to access my grandfather and to formulate an action plan. Unfortunately, due to my grandfathers health we needed to move him to an impatient facility. After getting my grandfather settled I called back to Home Instead the next morning to advise that I needed to cancel the appointment and would no longer need their services. Being a professional working in a high demand environment like most experiences I figured it would be a quick call and off to the next patient. My phone call again was greeted on the first call and I explained my situation and they recommended that I speak with Becky again to cancel what was in the works. Becky Beanblossum spent time with me and again was kind, thoughtful and insightful while being more concerned about me, my family and my grandfather than moving onto the next patient that would generate income. If you are looking for a professional care giving team that puts you and your beloved family member first I highly recommend you interview them and others and compare the diffference.
