We live 1 block away from the Ohio River. We enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, but the mosquitoes made it unbearable! Ive used this service for years now, and it has honestly changed the quality of life for our family. Mosquito squad ALWAYS comes when they say and quick to respond to an issue. After they spray I have no mosquito problems and I’m the person that gets eaten alive while no one else does. I called and told them I was getting eaten up a week after a spray and they sent a guy the next day complimentary. Their technicians are so kind and understanding. I was trying to leave out of my house from the back driveway when they came, the tech waited patiently while I got my 5kids into the car. He did not make me feel rushed at all. Not only do they make light work of those mosquitoes, their customer service is fantastic. Now I sit in my hammock an watch my boys play with bites and I’m overjoyed!

After a great mosquito free summer last year, we have made mosquito squad part of our annual maintenance! We added tick protection this year too and so far so good! Excellent company to do business with and highly recommend.

This morning I had mosquitos up by back door and also along the house where there are roses. No problem in the outer yard.

They are always on time and they always lock my Gates when they leave. Not all companies have done that and then my dogs get out!

Since using the Mosquito Squad we have not seen any Mosquitos or ticks. This is especially important because of my grandchildren and dogs that love to play outside.

Seems that they actually get the job done (both in the sense that they actually spray and dont lie about it, and their treatment is effective). Their communication is impeccable. They use email and text notifications to communicate when they are coming, as well as when the job is complete. Im excited to use them for the remainder of the season!

UPDATE 8/3/2020 - I originally wrote a negative review after my initial service experience with Mosquito Squad. I wanted to come back to update my review from 1 star to 4 stars based on their recovery efforts in addressing the situation. Originally my unhappiness stemmed from their first service visit because they sprayed all of my garden which had pollinating flowers designed to promote Bee and Butterfly activity. They had told me ahead of time that the service can negatively impact those two species and that they would give service notes to the employee to avoid that area, but that didnt happen, and everything ended up getting sprayed. My initial outreach to them fell somewhat flat, but after a second incident they were quick to respond to my concerns that were listed in my review and made excellent efforts to work with me on future service calls.I was contacted by the owner of the company who listened to my concerns, acknowledged the original missteps (very important when dealing with consumer expectations) and even personally visited my home to make an assessment of the areas of concern and a plan to address them. He also engaged the manager of the business and used photographs to help confirm the areas to be sprayed and avoided with the technician who they scheduled to come out for the next treatment. When the technician arrived yesterday he met with me walked the property and was efficient in both treating the proper areas and advising me on how he would be proceeding. I feel he did a very good job of treating as much as possible without overexposing the treatment to sensitive areas.All in all, what started as a negative 1 star experience for me turned into a positive 5 star recovery (hence the overall 4 star rating). The owner showed genuine concern about the issue, affirmed for me that their technicians are trained on identifying foliage and areas that should be avoided, discussed the situation with the original technician, and I now feel that I just had an unfortunate initial experience, versus an ongoing problem. Mistakes happen, and I am happy that Mosquito Squad was professional enough to care and address their customer concerns.Kudos to the management and owner for providing sincere customer service recovery and I am confident that my experience was not typical and am happy to use Mosquito Squad in the future.I would also like to say that the product itself works very well, as I have gone bite free all season and spend a considerable amount of time outside on my porches and in the yard.

I am super happy with the service Ive received thus far. In fact, I would say the team at Mosquito Squad are some of my favorites to work with. From the front office to the applicators, everyone is kind and helpful. We forgot to take the treatment receipt off our door, and we received a call to make sure we were okay, that no one was inside who needed help. That really means a lot and shows the level of care they have for their customers.

I think I have had this service for 4 years now. I was cautiously optimistic at first but it definitely makes a difference. Is it perfect? No, but it is WAY better than untreated. Also these guys are very responsive, there have been a couple of times that I called because maybe there was a lot of rain and the mosquitos were coming back between service dates and they have no problem with coming by and hitting the yard in-between. I agree it would probably be even more effective if all the neighbors used a service too.

Recently made the switch from Mosquito Joe to the Mosquito Squad and couldnt be happier with the results. Ive noticed fewer mosquitos from day one of service. I also like how the chemicals they use are safe for pets so I dont have to wait a few hours after treatment to let my dog out. My mom thought it was so good, she signed up the next day so shes a fan as well! The guys couldnt have been more respectful when they came to my door and I will definitely be using them all summer. Our first year with Mosquito Squad of Louisville but wished I had called them years ago. For the first time in a while, we are having dinner outsideon our patio in the evening. Not a mosquito in sight or buzzing sound in my ear. Very reasonable in price and their techs were top notch and very conscious of what they were doing and our yard.

Their variable pricing is frustrating. I got a worse quote from them this morning from Michelle than I got from the man in spoke to yesterday evening. Additionally, the quote is $65 more than I paid last year, and $65 more than my neighbor two doors down is paying. Normally I’d just move on and go to OPC, who is cheaper, but I did have problems with the service last year. At one point, my neighbor and I watched the technician leave after spraying only half the yard. When I called, their first response was just to report that the technician said he completed the lawn, and it wasn’t until I insisted that they agreed to send him back. Michelle was frustrating to speak to this morning. Not rude, but extremely frustrating. Don’t bother with this company. They are hard to work with and really not the best deal in town.

Spraying seems to be working

Who knew that I could enjoy lunch on my front porch! Before the squad came I would be attacked with 30 sec of walking out. Now I able to have lunch outside ( and I am one of those people that friends invite to picnics so all the bugs will come to me)

I have noticed a big difference in the mosquito population in my yard with Mosquito Squad’s treatments. Of course, I need to monitor standing water in my yard-I found one today!They let me know when the treatment will happen and having watched the guy spray, seem to very thorough.

Before having the yard sprayed, if you walked in the yard the mosquitoes would immediately attack. 10 or more bites after ~15 minutes. After the spray, there were no mosquito bites with any length of time spent in the yard. It has been great!!

This is a summer game changer. I have really appreciated being able to spend more time in my backyard without the worry of getting eaten alive.
