UPDATE: I love the therapists and psychiatrist, but whoever is handling med refill requests barely speaks English and is EXTREMELY difficult to talk to. She doesnt seem like she knows what shes doing and its obvious she doesnt even know what the medications are and how to pronounce them. Shes awful handling insurance. Id suggest calling the front office and get in touch with somebody there rather than going through the portal for refills and having her call you. Mitchell has been so good about front office calls and getting things on a roll. Nothing but good experiences with him. Not sure why they changed their system or if theyre under new management. Everything was fantastic before the new online system was put in place. Now everything seems different as far as scheduling and refills go.Im surprised to see so many negative reviews. Ive been going here a few years and Ive always been treated with incredible respect and not just like a paying client. I will say the new scheduling service isnt fantastic. Im not a fan of their new system. However, Ren is the best psychiatrist Ive ever had and my therapist Kat is wonderful as well. They have helped me through some tough times in my life. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Theyre also extremely LGBTQIA+ friendly.
Made appointments two months out and never sent any reminders. On day of first appointment (telehealth) never received instructions. Called 30min after no one called me and got some lady who barely spoke English. She sent me a link and said I would have someone call me. No one ever called me. Then they have the audacity to charge me $60 for missed appointment. I wouldn’t trust them and filed a formal complaint with my healthcare provider. Avoid these scam artists!!
Struggled to get the support needed to join a telehealth appointment, but was offered a refund on the copay.
Very unprofessional office. The prescriber is rude and arrogant, clearly just in it for the paycheck.
I would suggest avoiding Meridian. This office is extremely unprofessional, completely disorganized and disrespectful. I have never been treated so poorly from a health care provider in my life.
This place is an actual joke when it comes to the office staff. Avoid at all costs.
I have been attempting to schedule an appointment with this place for at least 2 months. The first time I was told someone would contact me. But no one did. I called back today, and the first statement the person answering the phone said was about insurance and because I was going to be using cash, I would be assigned an intern. How poor that is. Assign me someone with very limited experience because I am going to pay cash. We have insurance but they dont accept our insurance so CASH wont get me to a psychologist!!!!
New staff is amazing and the providers are the best in the state!
VERY unorganized company. They only answer the main phone line about 30 percent of the time and their online portal system is terrible. I scheduled two counselor appointments after the initial intake and the counselor didnt show up for either of them. I rearranged my entire schedule to fit these two appointments in and dont appreciate the counselor not showing up. They would benefit from a new practice manager who can put in place and execute good patient intake and scheduling processes, because the ones they have now is terrible and disrespectful of their patients time.
Unfortunately, their policy regarding bupe patients has changed overnight. They won’t see them, even if that patient had been diagnosed at that same office by that same doctor. But thankfully, the staff has been informed of their obvious bias against dual diagnosis........
When I first started treatment I was given a reality shifting experience of compassion and care that felt I was more than a source of income for the practice. Unfortunately subsequent events, which both led to a decrease in my mental health, corrected that first impression. But hey well patients don’t bring in money, am I right ;)
Ren is truly one of the greatest therapists in the state!Each employee is professional, kind, and know how to treat the patients with utmost care.
The staff at MBH is a unique team of wonderful experts. They truly care about their patients, and want the best for them. (A quality that tends to be lost in todays healthcare). I highly recommend this team of providers! If you or your loved one need a therapist, make the call and set up an appointment today....this practice is truly a unique gem :)
Had something come up and had to leave town. Tried to call and cancel several days before. Left a message but didnt get a call back. Was charged for not showing up. Mostly my fault for not calling until I reached a human but still frustrating.
