To the people complaining about “harsh” working conditions should have paid more attention during orientation and training. They absolutely tell you that the conditions can be pretty gnarly and hard to work in. I don’t know how much more clear my trainers could have been. You work in the rain, wind, snow, cold, heat etc. I’m only giving it a 3 star strictly because I’m new. If you don’t like manual labor, work at burger king or something where you’ll make half the wages and get zero benefits.

PEOPLE NEED TO BE AWARE OF THE TERRIBLE CONDITIONS THEY HAVE THEIR WORKERS IN.This is the worst place I have ever worked at! I have gotten injured here, sick, harassed, and just treated extremely unfairly. The working conditions are unbearable. We don’t get the breaks we’re supposed to get. I’ve had seven hour shifts where I’ll only get a 10 minute break- off the clock.All of the management is extremely young and they only are nice to their friends. And the higher up supervisors don’t do their job correctly either. One time I had a concussion and they expected me to get into an Uber at 2 AM to “their” urgent care.I am extremely disappointed with my experience here.

Don’t work here ever I could go on for hours and write a whole book but just to sum it up this is the only company that I have worked for that the management has let some one literally sleep right infront of them my co workers and I have tried so much to fix this but nothing changes everytime so if you want to work somewhere you would enjoy and have fun don’t work at ups period.

This place is each and people wonder why alot of people dont want to go back to work a friend I know works there for exposed to covington had to take 9 days off then when he gets back to work they tell him fill out a firm so he can get paid for that time off but yet they tell them they most likely wont see the money for a month or so I told him ask them if there lg&e, water or rent will wait a month I told him no they aint going to wait they will kick him out before he sees that

Horrible service I recently just bought a game system (Xbox x series) for my lil brother birthday and as of this date it still hasn’t arrived and when I call they claim it’s still on the way when it should have arrived I paid 700 for shipping and to add insurance and they say I can’t get a refund not to mention again I still haven’t received my package and it is June 28th 2021 12:11pm est

As a UPS corporation employee it was my first visit to World Port. This facility is humongous and state of the art.We took night tour and it was worth it.

They hold your package illegally even after you submit what they ask for.

State of the art UPS packet sorting facility. (I do work for UPS). All UPS air packages will pass through this facility on the way to their final destination.

Had a package shipped that has been delayed at this hub for over a week. UPS customer support claims it’s because of weather, however there is nothing currently going on that would actually prevent the delivery from being made. Initially the package showed as being near where I live in Washington DC, but when I speak to them on the phone they said that it never actually made there and that was a false or predictive scan that isn’t actually accurate. It seems most likely that they have lost the package and are trying to find it while not admitting what has actually happened. Furthermore they have refused to allow me to even open a claim, and they’re stating that it’s beyond their control, and that I won’t receive a refund regardless of what happens. The package was supposed to have arrived in time for Valentine’s Day and contained 24 long stemmed roses which were shipped from Ecuador and cost over $150, which will now be dead and worthless if they are ever delivered at all. Absolutely terrible customer service and lack of accountability, use FEDEX instead, UPS is garbage!!!!!!!

Yard was great. Guard was great. Empty was full of their trash. Common problem with UPS.Also, directions to actual gate not great.

I have only just started working here. I really like the supervisors here, everyone is very friendly. This is to those people who are looking for a good place to work, with great pay and good work hours, I would recommend checking this place out and giving it a chance. You might like it. There are many jobs to choose from at UPS, if you don’t like the one you currently have, if you have a lot of time under your belt from working here. Then kindly ask your manager if you can get a different job position at world port and see what happens. I plan to work here many more years and live a good life. I have worked here for over 32 years. Great place to work. The management, sups, admins, etc(that I have had) have all been pretty terrific. Great pay,... better benefits than anyone I know. Could you really ask for anything more??

They treat their employees like actual garbage. No regard for the workers or hazards they put them through.

Try calling and actually talking to someone. It’s a joke.

Injured on the job and they fired me because they didn’t communicate on when i was going to be out of work. They say texting a full timer is considered a no call no show. Management team there sits in their offices and talks to each other as if its constant leisure time and others pretend they care about you but as i noticed they will drop you if you’re not able to work for whatever reason. Also was in the loop program but was kicked out because of me no working in UPS anymore. They dont care about student success only their paychecks.

Fun place to meet people but terrible place to work in my opinion overworked in loading and underpaid expected to break your back for your Superviser who sometimes treat you less like a human and look down on you but not all are bad when you start off it is a union so you’ll be the first to get the worst jobs and be made to work over when needed or leave if someone with more seniority wants to stay management is very hypocritical when they preach about safety but want you to load cans with over 100 pound crates all day which they tell us to “team lift” but everyone is more worried about themselves there is no teamwork really associated with this workplace and you are pretty much a lone wolf and have to make sure you don’t fall behind. People with high seniority are also more likely capable of putting you in the worse areas possible where you’ll be working the fastest chutes or multiple chutes.

Its a decent place to work. Jobs are mainly third-shift, and there are occasional opportunities to move up in the company. UPS will pay for college tuition, but you MUST be diligent in applying for these benefits, or you wont get them.

Worst management system ever. Literally no room to go unless you have friends in upper management, and your needs are completely disregarded if it’s considered an inconvenience to your full timer

I work there. Like any other job and has its ups and downs. For instance all the good supervisors always moved around more often than the others if you know what I mean.

Customer service non-existent. My package sat at the Louisville hub for a week before they admitted it was lost. Thankfully the SHIPPER was able to help me with it, all UPS would tell me was to talk to them and that there was nothing they can do. Not sure what is going on in Louisville, I hope it isnt theft but my package had an arrival scan and NEVER LEFT. Only using FedEx whenever it is possible.

Im proud of my job and all the work everyone does here. Its very cool to see it all come together and to be apart of something so big.

For some reason Google wants me to review worldport every single day. Its a giant, international hub for ups. Its cool if youre into that, I guess. Decent place to work too.

Ive worked UPS for 28 years. Theyve been good to me.

They do.amazing work. For my business I order packages from Chicago to come to Michigan over night with UPS Next day air. They go from Chicago to WorldPort there, and are quickly flown to Lansing, MI. Ive had probably 100 packages shipped overnight and only 1-2 slight delays due to weather. 5 stars, easily.
